    Fried tofu
    Nancy A.

Food here is decent. We ordered a fried tofu appetizer, chicken cashew, and spicy noodles. Fried tofu: tofu was good but the dipping sauce was just okay. Portion size was decent. Cashew nut chicken: portion size was decent and came with a very small side of rice. Flavor was mild. I do like how they use a lot of basil. We asked for spice level 2 and it was not hot at all as ordered. It tasted fine. Spicy noodles: portion size was decent. We asked for spice level 4, but it barely had any kick to it.

We really like the crab fried rice and the mango drink/dessert thing. The place is cute and the service is great. That being said, the food is definitely on the pricey side.

I love trying a good Thai restaurant, especially when everything is absolutely delicious. I came here during lunch but opted out for their lunch menu and decided to get their main entrées. This is a smaller restaurant and considered to be a mom and pop so service is pretty expected. The reviews definitely don't lie - everything was amazing! If you had to order, just two dishes, definitely go with the Panang curry and the three sauce fish. Both were absolutely amazing. Pricing is pretty standard, if not more on the affordable side, compared to other Thai restaurants at this level. The interior is pretty basic and there isn't much to look forward to, but it does get the job done, they do have some incredible dishes and pretty standard service. If you are in the Santa Clarita Valley and are looking for a good Thai restaurant, this is definitely a must try - add it to your list! I look forward to coming here again. My review is as follows: - Food: 5/5 - Service: 4/5 - Ambiance: 4/5

Just had the Spicy Noodle with soy duck and it hit the spot. I ordered it at spicy level 3 (out of 5) and it was really good. The service was super friendly and attentive the whole time. I'd definitely come back.

I keep forgetting to review this place even though my family and I come at least twice a week :). The food is so good we always get the basil fried rice , orange chicken and cashew chicken and pad Thai and share it . As we don't want to not get something and miss out as it's all sooooo good. Not to mention the service is great. P.s do yourself a favor and try there one of a kind coconut ice cream made in house. The black rice pudding is bomb.

From the start we were greeted by Annie the owner and head chef she was so kind and welcoming. She made awesome suggestions and you can tell she is very passionate about her food craft. We started off with these crab rolls that weren't even on the menu but she recommended. Made with real crab & a craftsmanship I can't even put to words. I couldn't decide between the curry and the fish special so I asked Annie and she recommended the fish special which was absolutely insane! So delicious! My partner had the green curry with chicken which was also SO GOOD. The flavor and craft of each dish was beyond what we have ever experience. Quite literally my favorite American Thai spot ever! 100/10. The service, the food, the environment & the vibes were great! Thank you Annie! May your business continue to grow and be blessed!

Everything was delicious! I have a mild pad see ew obsession, so I am very particular about the noodle texture and the pad see ew sauce. "Let's Thai" has an excellent pad see ew, but that's not all I was impressed by. We also tried the curry potato wheel. I loved the hearty potato dish combined with the curry flavor. The chicken satay is a MUST! I wish I could afford to get 5 orders of the satay to take home, because it could make a great 'on-the-go' snack. And finally, the lemon tea was quite tasty. I appreciated the attentive service. The staff were accommodating to my request to have a sugar-free lemon tea, which I appreciated.

I ordered the Charm Fried Rice (medium spice level) but had a hard time choosing between that or the Khao Soo Chicken. The atmosphere was nice - it was darkly lit and you can watch a TV or stare into the kitchen to look at the massive woks. My food came in less than 10 minutes and it smelled so good. The pork skin is crispy as advertised. It was perfectly friends and bubbly. The pork meat itself was a bit dry, but I think the trade off is worth it for the skin. The portion size, including the amount of meat, was good and the spice level was comfortable. After this I ordered a fried banana with ice cream. I chose a vanilla ice cream. It was good but nothing special. I like how the banana isn't too sweet. Overall I was very happy with my meal here and still think about that crispy pork skin from time to time.

Service was great without being overbearing. They had a few tables filled and a steady stream of pick up orders for a Monday night. Parking is free in the plaza. No trouble finding a spot. Food: so I always get panang curry and pad kee mao wherever I go, and both were the tits. Loved the flavor and consistency of the curry, both the panang and the green, though green had a bit more fish sauce to it. Noodles were excellent, with just enough noodle to veggie ratio. I asked for mild and it was actually mild enough for kiddo to try everything - but he did say "noooo" to the panang, haha. The teriyaki chicken was also really tasty and exactly what I expected. Important to note that rice does not come with the dishes so order separately. Thai iced coffee always slaps so do yourself a favor and get one. Would definitely return if we're in the area. I imagine all restaurant owners have one of those two options in mind at the start. So, when I saw that there are two Siam Rice restaurants in Santa Clarita, I thought these must be people who want to grow and expand. Now, since Siam II is closer to my house, I chose to try it first, of the two. I looked at the pictures, the menu, and the reviews here and thought it was a good choice for a standard Chinese meal, with a bit of a twist that they also apparently serve Thai dishes. We ordered just the Chinese dishes without meat. Siam Rice permits substituting tofu for any meat element in all of its dishes. They also let you choose mild, spicy, medium spicy, and hot spicy. Great idea. I was able to tell them to leave out any MSG from our meal, as I am allergic to it. They readily agreed. So far, so good. The service is quick and pleasant. Both people who attended our table were accomodating, if a bit subdued. We ordered quite an array of choices and the food came out quickly, piping hot, and well arranged so as to look appetizing. All of it was good, Cantonese style Chinese (we didn't choose a Thai option, apart from Thai Tea). It was tasty, especially the string beans with garlic and the vegetable Spring rolls. These dishes were also almost identical. We asked for a fried rice, a noodle, and a tofu with vegetable main dish. It appears that all the vegetables and seasonings for those three are the same and so, while satisfying and filling, they could not be distinguished from each other, apart from rice vs noodles. The Thai tea was strong and sweet, as is its nature. The place was clean, with clean floors, tables, and windows. All of this makes for a good, local place that I imagine draws a lunch crowd from Saugus and Railroad Avenue, and likely a local Friday and Saturday night clientele too. Since Railroad Avenue is not, say, Sunset, Wilshire or Santa Monica Boulevards, Siam II is unlikely to attract people much farther than eastern Santa Clarita and maybe don't have any ambition to do so. And that may be their intent, it is hard to know. If I were to make a recommendation to the owners: I think it is time to re-paint the entire restaurant. The ceiling tiles should be replaced. I would also add more Thai decor, as that is unusual and exotic and would make for a unique distinction that I am sure customers would find charming. I would also do something to the lower "vestibule" that serves as the entry (see my picture) to the upper dining floor. It looks like a place to stop in and get lottery tickets. It should be inviting, warm, attractive. New paint, more Thai and Chinese art, accessories, and artefacts, and perhaps some plants would go a long way to matching the ambiance to the food quality. There is convenient parking in front and back, and the prices are very reasonable.

Our always fabulous server Vickie suggested a dish for me to try after I asked her for a recommendation for a good, flavorful and traditional Thai dish. Not what is common for the local clientele, but something her family and friends would love to eat. She immediately suggested the simply named "Basil Pork" from their menu. She told me that this dish which is called Pad Kra Pao (spelled so many ways depending on the restaurant) is frequently eaten for breakfast or lunch by Thai people. A savory, home cooked meal. Oh wow.. the flavor profile blew my mind! A unique flavor that is new to me, there are layers of flavor in this dish. She brought a side of an essential Thai condiment called Prik Nam Pla which is drinkable. It's that good! Vickie told us you're supposed to chop up the egg and mix the pork and rice together with the Prik Nam Pla poured over, to taste. I will be getting this on repeat! It's a must try. We also ordered our usual House Special Crispy Squid which never disappoints. They do their calamari right and it's never tough. Also on the table was an order of Pad See You with beef. So good, and in the spirit of teaching us the traditional ways to eat dishes, Vickie brought out a container of Prik Dong to pair with the noodle dish. It's a vinegar infused with chilis and has a slightly spicy and sour kick. It really enhances the already delicious dish! Everything was so good, and I simply can't say enough about the fantastic service we always receive at Siam Rice II. If you don't want to dine in you can order take out, but you'll be missing out on Ms Vickie's helpful tips and suggestions.
