I've been in search for a good pho in Montreal for a while. I have to say, this place serves a decent one! It's the tastiest I've had so far in town. Their spring rolls are very low on the shrimp though, very low.

I went to Pho Mymy for a late dinner and I was not disappointed. The server was very friendly and food was very good. The price is amazing too. I had the Dac Biet Pho and the shrimp spring roll. It was delicious.I will definitely go back.

For ten years I've yearned for some real deal Vietnamese food near my home. It's a shame that the true ethnic food joints tend to stay closer to the city centre. However it is a positive that Pho Mymy seems to be expanding to multiple locations. I have visited the Pho Mymy location near Marche Central years ago and it's a solid offering. Here in Laval they have created a successful restaurant in a short period of time. On my two visits it's been packed at lunch on both visits. This is a good sign. One of my assumptions of the popularity is because you can get a solid lunch for $12-15 with tax and tap included. If you go with one of their combos with soup and spring roll it will run you $17-19. Another plus is they understand the essence of a quicker lunch. Most folks have max an hour and they work to be able to get you in and out wth a big plate of deliciousness. Or a big bowl of pho in quick efficient manner. Visit one I had the grilled chicken Vermicelli with spring roll with soup cup and two small spring rolls. It's a big lunch! They brought out the noodles on a plate and I asked kindly if they would put it in a bowl which they cordially did. Taste and freshness was excellent. Visit two it was Bún Bò huė. Although not as spicy as other places it was hearty with some Vietnamese sausage and a thinly slicked brisket plus a few fatty pieces. The broth was a nice beef flavour and very generous serving. During my second visit I was explaining to My wife could you smell the star anise of the pho broth! Amazing! I deduct one star as they do not accept credit card. Cash or interac only. A small inconvenience however food is awesome! I read the other reviews and sorry for the Yelper who claimed they got food poisoning. No issues for me. I'll be back often!

I can't believe I haven't written a review for this place yet. It is truly a hidden gem which we…read morestarted going to over 10 years ago. Sadly, we've moved away from Montreal, but make certain we come to this establishment each time we visit family in Montreal. We always get the hi tieu nam vang kho (dry version). It's delicious! The service is always good and friendly. From what I recall, it's cash only, but reasonably priced.

My husband and I went to Phnom Penh for breakfast yesterday. When we arrived outside, we thought…read morethey were closed or even closed down for good. The entrance is a few steps up from street-level but where the name is etched on the door, it's mostly rubbed off so it looks abandoned. We almost walked away until I peeked into the entrance and saw people sitting upstairs. We went upstairs and the tiny restaurant was full. We decided to wait for a table since we had walked 25 minutes to get there. It didn't take long until someone left and we got a table. The menu is tiny and all in french. We managed to decipher it and ordered. My husband ordered Hù tiêú nam vang and I ordered Hù tiú bò. Both were piping hot, flavourful and filled with plenty of protein. The noodles were cooked perfectly. We loved that there was an option on the menu for cooking the beansprouts as usually we have to write that separately. We also ordered 2 imperial rolls and they were also piping hot, crispy and delicious. I loved that in the washroom there's a chalkboard wall where you can write comments :) This place is a true foodie find and we will definitely be back next time we're in Montrêal.

Restaurant is on the 2nd floor - despite the old faded sign on the first floor door they are still open for business.
