The service was great and Pho was a good flavor. I found the noodles a bit over cooked.

This restaurant is literally my favorite place to eat on the planet. I have gotten Pho in many major cities across the states but nothing beats the order of #1 at this place. It's soo good, if you haven't had Pho before you need to try it because it amazing. My wife and I go here every Friday as a tradition and have been doing so for over a year. The staff is the most friendly I have ever met and are clearly very good at their jobs. I only hope they open up more locations in the valley! read more

This is a great little restaurant with HUGE portions at a low price. I've traveled extensively in Asia, and I'm often frustrated that most of the options available in Montana for Asian food are very Americanized Chinese restaurants. Pho Ly offers a great alternative. It is a very simple little place with a very simple menu, but the food tastes fresh, and I always leave satisfied. It's an amazing value for the price. The owners are also very sweet people, and I feel happier every time I stop by just because of their smiles. read more

By far the best Pho in the valley! I moved here from out of state and was sad to leave my local Pho place behind but Pho Ly is delicious. It is a winter staple in our home, and I even got my mom to try it. It is now the only place she wants to go to eat when she visits. So good! Good pho!!! Nice waitstaff!!! A new favorite! I could have used more greens in my soup, but the waitress was happy to bring another plate of sprouts and jalapeños. The serving sizes range from huge to ginormous and the food is authentic. (We had spring rolls with peanut sauce and fish sauce, followed by pho.) $25 to over feed two people... It was my first experience of eating at Pho Ly. The broth is very flavorful, but has a different flavor than I would expect. The toppings are generous and the portions large, where I had two smalls for my son and I, and would have been able to split one. The service was also excellent. It was not my favorite type of food, but that was nothing against the restaurant. I noticed another reviewer complained that it was not vegetarian. I just got to go food but service was super friendly. I got the vegetarian spring rolls and a tempted to eat them in my car but I ended up spilling the delicious sauce all over my shirt. I'm glad I didn't get any on my sweatpants because they are new. The shirt might look cool with the stains plus I can always remember how delicious the sauce was. Came in for a takeout order. The food looked very good, but when I took the first bite. There was a piece of rock or bone in it. I dont know if it was suppose to be in it or not. We moved to a tiny town outside of Missoula 6 months ago after living in Chicago for 12 years. My sister's mother in law is Vietnamese and makes homemade pho and I've had several bowls of pho in Vietnam and tons in Chicago. Don't bother in Missoula. I'm not saying I'm a pho connoisseur although I so actively seek it out. I probably need to do a taste test to tell you which were the top 5 bowls of pho I've had in my lifetime. All that said, this pho is damn good. I don't know if it makes the top 5 but it's really f'ing good. It's not one of those places you give a 5-star review because it's the best you can find in an unlikely location but if you compare it to it's best versions, it would get 1-star. It's a 5-star review because we will likely drive all the way to Kalispell the next time we are in the mood for pho. The only other thing we tried was the vegetarian spring roll which was very good and tasted very fresh. We look forward to dining here again. Man. I'm so happy we found this place. Very clean. about ten tables, good distance from each. We were here for dinner, and were the only diners! hope this place gets more business. So I'm from Cali and usually we get a lot of variety for food, but I'm currently in Montana for work purposes. I'm craving something that remind me of home and this place so happens to be owned by folks from Cali and they're supposedly the better Pho (noodle) place to go. I have to admit...although the portions were a bit small (the meat) and I ordered the Large...eating this reminded me of how pho is back in SF...plus its family owned by some Asians who actually know how to make decent pho. I really enjoy pho ly. I tend to stick with the meatball pho here. The broth is always fresh and hot. The vegetables are fresh, and the spring rolls are always nicely done and taste fresh as well. I haven't had any of the other sides here, except the pot sticker appetizer and it's always thoroughly over cooked, so I wouldn't recommend ordering it. Otherwise, the service is quick, the food comes out hot and quick as well and we are never dissapointed besides when the one gal forgets our drinks (it's kind of a thing). Also if you are looking to dine with toddlers then I would recommend bringing your own booster seat, because all they have is high chairs. read more

Yessssss! Finally! Great pho, love the round steak and brisket. Yummy chewy noodles. I get what i always call a summer roll with the rice noodle wrapper, its simple and tasty! I was surprised to find a Pho place in Montana let alone Kalispell! I had the House special pho with wontons, roast pork, and shrimp. The wontons melted in your mouth! The both was nice and flavorful. My only complaint was they didn't serve it with the basil, limes and jalapeño. Not sure why as others got it. I just asked for some limes and was good.
