If you have difficulty ordering via yelp, Uber Eats may be easier especially living in the downtown Missouri area. Ordered one vermicelli dish- Pork, grilled shrimp and fried spring roll - pork. The sauce on the vermicelli was amazing. I wish I had ordered one for myself as well. In addition ordered the sirloin pho. the broth was terrific and flavorful. there were only two options on how the beef could be cooked on the app- rare/ well done. I wish there was a medium on there. A very cold night prompted us to visit 'pho good'. Our friend ordered the vegetarian pho. I ordered the chicken and my husband ordered seafood pho. I was really happy when our server informed us about that we could chose the type of broth for our phos- vegetable or beef. All three of us chose the vegetable based broth. I just wish my pho had that depth of flavor in it. The noodles in the pho were just bland and the pho lacked flavor. By the time I added some fish sauce, bean sprouts, cilantro and basil in it, it had gotten cold! I like my pho piping hot and flavorful especially on a very cold night and unfortunately 'Pho good' failed to deliver! My husband's seafood pho was good. Nothing exceptional. Our vegetarian friend oked his veggie pho. We also ordered shrimp spring rolls that were good but I did not like the sauce it came with. The shrimp tempura was amazingly delicious and the star of the evening! The service was good and our server was very polite which is something I really admired. This was my first time coming to their new location. I been a couple of times in the past when they were still located on Shawnee Mission Parkway near Goodwill. I like how spacious the restaurant is. Also, it's next to Tropicana which is a Mexican dessert place and that's perfect to go to for desserts!! I came with my friend for a late lunch/early dinner around 3pm to 4pm and it was very dead. There were only 3 other groups that were dining before we arrived. The server was friendly and seated us right away. We both ordered an appetizer and entree. I got the Fresh Grilled Meat Spring Rolls for $4.52 and Vietnamese Pork Chops, Egg with Vegetables for $8.90. The spring rolls were so tasty! I loved how the warm pork meat inside the spring rolls just melted in my mouth and dipped with sriracha and peanut sauce gave it the perfect combo favors. My friend ordered the Shrimp Fresh Spring Rolls and it was great as well. My Vietnamese Pork Chops, Egg with Vegetables was so delicious. The pork chops was a big portion with 3-4 big slices of pork without the bone. It was perfect with the steamed white rice and the fish sauce to give it an extra sweet and salty flavor. This dish is my go-to when I order at Vietnamese restaurants. If you are a rice person, I would definitely recommend this dish for you. My friend ordered the Vermicelli Combination Bowl with Shrimp, Chicken, Pork and Eggrolls. If you like noodles, I would give this dish a try as well. Overall, this restaurant is not well-known and newly opened in the location of Shawnee, KS with affordable prices for a fairly large portion of food. Came cross this place when they were on Groupon in their old location and became a fan ever since. Whenever we are craving Pho, we come here or Vietnam Cafe. Service and people are always great, and food has always been consistent. They are usually short staffed inside so if you dine in, understand they do their best. Placed is pretty good sized inside and have never had an issue getting a table. This is by far one of the best pho restaurants I have ever been to. An older lady was my waitress and she was the sweetest, nicest, fastest moving waitress I have had in a really long time. She helped me make a decision on what I wanted for my meal and she was 100% right. She was just delightful. They had a lot of online orders constantly coming in and they were stacked on the counter waiting for the people to pick them up. This is a wonderful thing to see, coming out of the pandemic restaurants being busy is really nice. I could hear my food sizzling in the back and when the waitress brought it to the table it was still smoking with steam. Having moved to Kansas from Los Angeles, I missed having Pho. I've been feeling a tad under the weather and a nice hot steaming bowl of pho always does the trick. We ordered the meal for four to go; it included catfish paste,beef with vegetables, crispy shrimp (yum!), sour shrimp soup (double yum!), fried quail, and (of course) steamed rice. I decided to check out Pho Good after seeing a Groupon and my love for Pho. For $18.50, the Groupon offers two $15 vouchers (they must be used separately). Even without the Groupon, the price is affordable (about $9 for a bowl of pho). It's located in a strip mall, thus it can be a bit difficult to find parking. Luckily, both times I had front row parking! The service is incredibly fast when ordering Pho (I haven't ordered anything else) but both times, it was served to us within 3-5 minutes. I met my friend here for lunch and there were a handful of people around noon, but it wasn't busy. I could barely hear our waitress because she spoke so softly. I found myself leaning forward to hear what she was saying. We ordered spring rolls ($2.99) and egg rolls ($2.99). I ordered #9 Pho Bo Tai ($7.99) and my friend ordered #8 Pho Good Dac Biet ($8.99). It was a few minutes before our spring and egg rolls came to our table. They didn't give us any plates and I thought they were going to bring them after. My friend and I decided to just eat. The spring roll with the peanut sauce was okay and was pretty much any other spring roll I ate in the past. The egg rolls were good. My Pho Bo Tai was good to me and the broth had flavor. I got the Shrimp spring rolls (not egg rolls like someplace will give you). The Iced Coffee (which is more like delicious expresso), don't drink if you wanna sleep anytime soon. I don't think I am very difficult but when you have a restaurant with the name of an authentic Vietnamese dish it needs to be your TOP dish. My pho tai was very tasteless, the meat was over cooked. The beef lemon grass was so tough we left half the plate uneaten. My daughter only ate the rice and tomatoes. my seafood clear noodles soup was so bland the shrimp tried to jump out of the bowl. Only the second time I have had Pho....both times from this establishment. We dined in about 8 months ago, but this time we had to do carryout because of the Pandemic... It was just a good (and hot) as if we were dining in. The broth comes in a container and all of the other ingredients come separately in a container so you can add as much or little as you desire. I ordered the 'steak' version....there were plenty of noodles and the meat was sliced very thin so it "cooked" properly in the broth. The helping was large and it was on the spicy side...I used all the Hoisin and Sriracha sauces in the same cup (would prefer them to be separate for flavoring purposes), but I liked it spicy. I was taken aback because the minute after we got our spring rolls, we got our pho. -VIET COFFEE ($3). Made with the phin filter, has the condensed milk and what not. Yummy, basic viet coffee, no complaints here! -SPRING ROLLS ($3). Pretty small, tasted pre-made awhile ago, were meh. -COMBINATION PHO or PHO GOOD DAC BIET ($9). If you would like clear noodles instead, they do that substitution if you'd like. The broth was very tasty and had an appropriate amount of noodles and meat. Although I wish they included tripe here too. We were supplied with a good amount of veggies, and asked for extra jalapenos. I like that they have little sauce bowls on the side for me to make my hoisin and sriracha dip for my brisket and what not. P.S. I love this place. It's one of my absolute favorites and it has been for a long time. In high school, I had a Vietnamese friend who's mom always made me pho, and this place has the closest recipe to her pho that I've found! It's always filling and their portions are huge. (The bowl in this photo is a small order!) I also love their tofu spring rolls with peanut sauce. They're almost always playing calm music and the whole place feels so cute and relaxed.
