We usually come here several times of winter, I'm not sure why, it's just winter food for us. It does seem the ownership has changed, and the food was still pretty good. The service was prompt and courteous, and our appetizers came out quickly. The lemon grass beef is one of my favorite dishes, alongside the pork egg rolls and the shrimp spring rolls. The shrimp spring rolls seem a little different, possibly more noodles than previously. It's an unassuming little location in a strip mall, next to Paleteria. I'll start by saying I give this restaurant an unqualified positive recommendation. It's 4 blocks from home and we've been here Dixons if times over the years with never an unfavorable experience until today. We ordered a tofu and veggie wrap as appetizer. We usually like this. It had been made much earlier, and the top of the wrap was dry and hard to cut or chew. If you're ordering this, I'd ask to have it made fresh (my bad for not thinking of this before). My wife's combo fried rice was terrific, as usual. I ordered the house special pho, usually great. Today the broth was watery with none of the rich aromatic qualities we expect and usually get here. I mentioned this to the waiter, a young middle eastern looking man, and he either didn't understand or didn't care. I came here because I needed pho and it was close. I have soup once a week back home and was out of town and had a desire for some hot soup on a hot day. The restaurant is decorated in a Vietnamese theme but it lacked the feel of authentic Vietnamese. The service was quick and nice. But the food. Being from California and having pho regularly I was not pleased. I ordered a large expecting the portion to match the bowl. Both the noodles and the meatball portion were lacking. Just a bigger bowl with more broth. Which would have been fine had the broth been good. It was not. It was warm, not piping hot like it should have been. It was almost sweet the more I ate it, but not. Tasted a lot like beef stock with minimal seasoning. Not like a labor of love that good pho is. The shrimp rolls were bland. No mint and stuffed with sprouts. Just there. Unfortunately, I will not return or recommend this to anyone who has experienced authentic pho. read more

We usually order from here and our last order was Horrible they now put all the meat into the pho broth. Also when you order to go they skimp you on the meat!!!! I also ordered the sweet potatoes and only got 3 shrimps and the sauce spilled/ melted because they put it with the hot fries. I also ordered extra sauce which was not in my order. I'd give this a strong 3.5 so far! The ambience is interesting and peaceful, service was fast and everyone was very friendly. I'd just say that the meat was somewhat lacking, both in texture and flavor.. the pho has a LOT of broth, but I honestly loved it that way, and the noodles were soft and delicious. Menu item 205 - beef taste wrong and very tough, dish was not good. I have eaten here numerous times; everyone working here was Vietnamese. This time, everyone working here is Indian. I ask waiter if the restaurant changed ownership; he said no. Cook came out of kitchen, yelled at a few employees then sat near me staring at me. I looked away, looked back, he is still staring at me intensely. I got up to ask him if he needed anything; he jumped up and ran to the bathroom or kitchen. I paid the bill and left. Now as soon as our server brought out the bean sprouts and cilantro I knew I was in for it because the bean sprouts were brown and old. I eat pho all the time and have never had this happen before. The noodles in my soup were so soggy they were barely solid. The meat tasted terrible I could not finish my bowl. Not only was the taste absolutely horrid the restaurant was so nasty the salt shaker (which I have never had to put in pho) was sticky and disgusting!!! Such a waste of money. I been to Pho Good a number of times in the last few years and I must say I've always been happy with the food and service. I've also tried a variety of items from Pho Dac Biet to Rice dishes and Vermicelli Bowls. Their Pho broth is the same every single time I've been and has been good every time. During my most recent visit I tried the Bun Bo Hue and it was so good. They even asked if I wanted blood cakes and of course I said yes. The broth was just right, not too salty (some places are), not too spicy, just full of umami. Other items that I tried previously are grill meat rolls, spring rolls, clear noodle soup, Vietnamese pork chop and eggs, tofu lemongrass with veggies, vermicelli with grilled pork and vegetables and iced Vietnamese coffee. They were all really good. I'm so happy to find a place like Pho Good close to home and a plus is that they also have wifi for busy days when I need to bring along schoolwork. read more

Ordered take out this week. Fried rice was flavorful and well cooked. Good portion as well. The pho broth was a 4/5 but the amount of meat that was provided was on the smaller side. I would've given this a 4star but after paying we asked for Sriracha sauce and were not only reassured they were already included in the bag, but also given a judge mental stare. The name is accurate! I ordered to go lemon grass tofu and veggies. It was fantastic! Super flavorful and the tofu was cooked really well. I've had too much improperly cooked tofu that is chewy and spongy but this was not the case. I will definitely be back to try the pho and the rest of their menu ! read more

It doesn't have the fanciest dining room, but the food is absolutely top notch. My newphew and I ordered pho and it came with tendon. We were unsure whether we would like it and if we should say yes. The waitress kindly put the tendon on the side so we could try it, and then checked in with us to see what we thought. Like all the food, the tendon was great as well. Highly recommend!! read more
