Our first choice was closed for holidays so went around the corner and found Pho Fusion. It was lined up out the door but we moved quickly and the service was very friendly and efficient. Our lunches were great. read more

I had to try both the chicken and combination beef pho for myself since there weren't many reviews. My chicken pho was really bland and the only flavor present was the taste of fish sauce and water that made up the broth. Chicken pho the authentic way should be made from freshly made chicken broth but they skipped this part and seemed like it was only made with water, salt and some fish sauce. Chicken should be hand pulled with both dark and white meat but they took the short cut and used sliced white meat. Lime and garnishing weren't enough to give it the flavor it desperately lacked. The food here could be really good.. but the service was so terrible that I won't be returning. After we were seated, it took so long for our server to even greet us. I had to go up and ask for water because we weren't being acknowledged. They served us our pho without bringing the bean sprouts and lime it comes with on the side.... we waited as our pho was getting cold to see if they were bringing it out. Nope. AGAIN I had to go up to the counter and ask for the sides for our pho. As my mom started eating her pho, she noticed it was full of tripe. We both ordered beef ball, brisket and flank pho... I found a single tripe piece in mine as well. So they didn't even get our orders correct. They didn't refill our waters once. It was almost like flagging down a waiter to get what you're paying for. The pho soups here are awesome! This is a nice, clean, new Vietnamese place in town. There have been other Vietnamese places in Vernon before but they either closed down or the remaining ones are no great hell. Let's hope more people discover Pho Fusion and help keep this little gem open!! They have appetizers like deep fried rolls of various flavours, rice paper rolls with vermicelli and other fillings, a Vietnamese version of calamari... They have lots of Pho soups to choose from and a (Thai) Pad Thai noodle dish and lots of vermicelli noodle or rice 'stir fry' type dishes. We are staying in the nearby hotel and ordered take out from this place. Food was ok, but the worst part is that they didn't provide any cutlery, napkins and any toppings ( mint leaves,onions,peppers etc) you usually get. read more

Service was good as well as the food. Never have had any problems with this restaurant. Waitress was prompt and friendly. It was quite busy when we arrived and they were waiting for glasses to be washed before bringing our drinks but that was no problem. Food came out in reasonable time considering how busy it was. Waited 45 minutes for our dinner. Not once did the waitress come and check on us or give us an explanation. It did not seem that busy. When I finally called her over she said they were busy with takeout orders. We finally got our food and the waitress seemed very annoyed that I complained to her about the wait. thank goodness our food was good and we didn't need her to come back to the table because she didn't except to bring us the bill. Bad service and really bad food. It has zero flavor, it was like all the pho had been watered down and it had next to nothing in it, a few slices of meat and some noodles, no spices or anything, and it costs way too much. NO thanks, yuk! read more

Not so good. Food tasted plain. Pork was dryer than dust! Rice noodles in my soup was mushy Will not be back.

The waitress was very pleasant and quick...the soups were unfinishable - but not for lack of trying - they are so full of noodles! The broth for their soups is lovely - but still wondering what the "beef balls" were made of, not what I expected at all - will stick to the rare beef next time. Looking forward to trying some of their other dishes. (The fresh rolls are super messy and yummy! But then good luck finishing the rest of the meal!). Only concern? Had quite a disappointing evening. Food wise, it was good. Nothing really stood out though. Nothing I haven't had before. Average Vietnamese food. Nothing really out there or overly traditional or unique in that matter. I'm not sure where the Fusion part comes in. We arrived at 7pm and I ordered the Lychee drink. They were out. Ordered the deep fried wontons. They didn't have any. We order 3 appetizers and 4 meals. Everything comes at once. We finished our dinners at 8pm, half got cold because everything was just unloaded on our table at one time. The waitress comes around to clear our plates asking if we want anything else. I order the two and only desserts they have. She comes back to say the kitchen was closed and won't make our desserts! What the??! I get if the place closes its doors to new customers at 8pm( which seems ridiculously early to me ) but you can't finish the service of the customers you already have?? No warning the kitchen was about to close or anything. I honestly could not believe they do not finish the dinner service for the customers that came in. Left 20% for the young girl but completely was turned off from this experience. read more

Tons of menu choice, but the finished product is so-so. I had the Pad Thai and it was definitely underseasoned - very little flavour in any of the ingredients or the sauce. My friend had a seafood Pho soup and had to ask for additional fish sauce just to give the broth any flavour at all. She wasn't impressed and neither was I.
