Space is open, typical fish tank and instrumental of love songs. It's very clean and the setting sets the mood for just a meal. The smell of the broth was normal and surprising to me since I live a block away from Pho central (Fedreal). The noodles were taken out a tad too early since they still had a slight hardness to them. The greens were rinsed before they were brought out and quite fresh. The broth was a little plain but still good with hosin and sriracha. My mom and I had the combination bowl (dac biet) and amount of meat was more than plenty for me. The meat was just a tad rough for me to chew with the noodles but still good. Standard Pho restaurant, food was average and filled the void. The key to Pho for me is the broth and this broth was just water.

The food is 4 stars, service is like 1.5 stars. No one was rude but they weren't friendly & didn't even look at us when talking to us. I put on my coat to signal we were done since we couldn't get our server's attention & it still took another 15 minutes to flag him down to get the check. The pho had decent flavor--not the best around here, but not the worst since it did have some flavor (kinda sweet). The vermicelli noodle bowl had good flavor but was lacking in amount of vegetables. my wife and I came here based on the rave reviews of others, but I left lunch disappointed. The spring rolls were quite good but the vermicelli bowl was sub-par compared to other good Vietnamese restaurants that we go to. Specifically, the egg roll was very sweet and seemed almost prepackaged in quality. It is about the only Vietnamese restaurant in the area thought and the convenience of that's is nice compared to driving to Golden or driving up to Federal Blvd. Plus, it is very clean and the staff was very, very nice. read more

Littleton is a hard time to find some pho, unless you go to Federal. Anyhow, when I went to Pho 9, it was very clean and very cozy... I ordered the Spring Rolls with peanut sauce Verdict... Very Tasty, compliments each other well. Kinda small in portions for my size. For my main dish is the Pho Combination Verdict... The bean sprouts were fresh and so were the beef and chicken. My wife and I came in when they first opened as Pho 333. We didn't like it. I honestly don't remember what it tasted like because we were too upset with an middle age-old woman who were greeting us that day. Actually she wasn't doing anything other than pointing us to a table of her choice. She was pretty rude to us, and we didn't know why. She could have had a bad day? Apparently, the second time we came in, months later, the restaurant changed its name to Pho 9, and the old woman was nowhere to be found. I hope she was fired. I went with family to celebrate my birthday because it was a cold day in December, and Pho felt like the perfect fit for the night. We arrived at the restaurant at six o'clock even though we were supposed to meet the rest of my party there at 6:30 pm. The restaurant was very busy, apparently lots of other people had the same idea, possibly due to it being the first snowy night of the season. Anyway, we decided to order and told the wait staff others would be joining us shortly. The waiter took our order and said it would be a long wait for our food. I'm not sure what prompted that remark. Anyway, we were okay with that, because we could see they were short staffed and very busy. A short time later, the rest of our party arrived and placed their order. We also observed other large parties arriving afterward. We then noticed the parties who had arrived after us were receiving their meals, and the part of our party who had arrived after us also received their food before we did. When I was finally able to track down our waiter, I asked what the problem was with our order, he was very short with me and said the problem was with the kitchen and how they processed the orders. Finally, after waiting an hour and a half, our soup arrived! Although the food was good, the service was the worst I have ever experienced. Wanted something to warm the soul on a cold, snowy day. I usually drive down feds but wanted to stay close to home since it was snowing. This place had a steady stream of people coming in, the service was quick and friendly and the food, more specifically the broth, was fantastic. The traditional Pho soup is excellent - not too salty or oily. You can find fried wontons, eggrolls, firecracker shrimp and wonton soup to get things started. I have tried each of these and can recommend them all. I can't speak to the other appetizers on the menu. The Vietnamese coffee and Hot Green Tea are excellent choices. If you are near to the Southwest Plaza area I recommend that you give this place a try. Even better on a cold and snowy day. read more

It's unfortunately to write this review, but the first few times here were so good....the last 2 times though I ordered the rare steak bowl, and the broth in the bowl comes out lukewarm, not cooking any of the rare steak. I got the vegetarian pho and a grilled shrimp spring roll togo. The shrimp is bright orange, which is pretty strange, but they taste good. The pho would be significantly better if it would have come with jalepenos and limes. I've never ordered pho before that didn't come with them. Walked in and no greeting. Small Asian lady walked up to me with a menu in her hand after I was starting to seat myself. She didn't say a word. I looked over the menu. My husband & I are big pho fans... Pho 96, 97 & 555 probably being out favs... But since we live out here and can't always make the drive out to federal this is a solid pho offering. A little background first... I usually have Pho 2-3 times a week and usually from Pho 95, but occasionally from Pho Duy (for the cube flank, not on the menu) up on Federal Blvd. Pho 95 also has a location at Streets of Southglenn also. I have been enjoying Pho for years and years and in my opinion those 2 are the best in Denver. A few weeks ago I just did not feel like making the drive up to Pho 95 and Pho 333 is just a couple miles away, so I thought I'd give it a shot. Here are my opinions...compared to Pho 95 and Pho Duy This review only pertains to their Pho, not any other menu item. I ordered 2 large, 1 meatball and 1 brisket. To go 1) Portion size and quality: At Pho Duy, I'm used to the sprouts, basil, sawgrass, limes, and jalapenos packed into a large plastic bag. Literally, all the veggies (for 2 larges) would barely fit into a basketball. Veggies... At Pho 95 for (per order, large)... 4-6 stalks of basil, 12-15 pieces of sawgrass, 2 handfuls of sprouts, 8-10 slices of jalapeno, and 3/4 to one full lime. Fresh every time Pho 333 on the other hand, (per order, large) 1 stalk of basil, 2 pieces of sawgrass, half a handful of sprouts, 3 slices of jalapeno, and 1/4 of a lime. Fresh veggies. Meat... Quality was on par with Pho 95, but the portion size was less than half (AT LEAST !!!) perhaps even 1/3 the size of what you get at Pho 95 2) Broth: For those of you who having been eating Pho for years and years, you know it's all about the broth which is a very difficult recipe to get right. Actually there is no "right", as there can be slight differences in the way its prepared which can make it or break it. The broth seemed to be a bit strong on the star anise side and it seemed to be missing something else, but with a complex recipe like Pho, it could be anything. Not bad mind you, but not outstanding either. A little cloudy also. Middle of the road at best. About the same amount as Pho 95, since they use the same size to go container for the broth. 3) Price: Slightly more than Pho 95, but with the added fuel costs for me to drive up on Federal, it's probably about the same. I think I'm done for a while trying new Pho restaurants, it's just not worth it. read more

The food is fresh and the broth keeps me coming back at least 3 times a week. No other Pho Restaurant comes close to the greatness and deliciousness of their broth. I recently tried their boba. To be fair, we didn't order food. Stating that, we did order 2 boba teas, one of our faves any where else. Expecting the traditional boba, what we got instead were shakes with whipped cream piled on top and clusters of boba at the bottom of the cup. Definitely not the traditional I love so much.
