Pork egg rolls with sauce
Frances M.

Egg rolls are very crispy and warm when served. The chicken pho broth was lighter and tasty. Very enjoyable.

Brisket, meatballs, beef broth, green onion, Thai basil, bean sprouts

Came across this gem while traveling for work in atascadero. From the first time I tried the combination pho, it was delicious! That made me keep coming back every chance I get. Friendly staff always greet us with a smile. Food comes out quick and hot! Peaceful environment overall. Very much recommended.

Food was absolutely delicious I got the combination pho and I've tried the bahn Mih I'm not sure if that's how you spell it but the sandwich is so very delicious and fresh!! Customer service is always soooo good very attentive! The vibes are always calming and very pleasant overall I've been coming to this place for a year now and I absolutely recommend!!

Bánh Mì

THE BEST BAHN MI IN THE COUNTY!!! The popcorn is also always delicious!! The pho is consistently good they also have really good chicken curry!! Service is always very prompt and the staff is super friendly and helpful!!

I ordered a pho noodles soup yesterday, nothing else the bill came out to be little over $21. The flavor is nothing special, kind of plain, the instant pho bought in grocery stores has better flavor. What surprised me is the amount of meat in it, I ordered steak and meat ball combo, they put three thin slices of beef and one meat ball cut in half. Kind of disappointed about the quality of the food. Not worth it!

Was craving for pho after a hike. It was okay though and very hot inside the place. But at least we were able to eat outdoors!

beef pho

Giving this place three stars because it's not the greatest but it definitely satisfies the pho fix. The pho itself is quite tasty and I would come back again to try their other options, however the broth was somewhat lacking. Once I added some sriracha and salt it was great but as is the broth definitely is missing a little something. But if you want pho this is the place to go. Their popcorn chicken however... I was expecting something super crunchy loaded with flavor and it lacked both. The batter itself was lacking salt which didn't help when there was zero crunch to the chicken at all. It wasn't drenched in oil but definitely soggy and not as crunchy as it could've been. Also the portion amount for $10 is a tad diabolical, especially when it wasn't that tasty. Overall, I would just come here for the pho, but I feel as though the appetizers are not worth it for the money you pay (based on the pictures i saw online) They do however have a chicken curry and bahn mi that I will be coming back to try. I will say that customer service and speed is great so that is definitely a plus. Will def be coming back, but propably not for any appetizers.

The spring rolls were excellent, very fresh and unique with a crunchy add-in. Also split a Bah-Mi sandwich, made for a nice light lunch. Service was friendly and thoughtful bringing ice water without asking on a 95F day. Clean shop with 8 tables inside and several outside.

Beef pho

Got beef pho, good for the area, but not the best pho I've ever had. The service was great and so friendly! There are some tables inside and outside if you want to sit outside. I'd go here again when I'm craving pho in the central coast!

Vegan Pho with Beef Broth substitute.
Andreas B.

Just fantastic Pho! I got the Vegan Pho, but substituted beef broth instead of veggie. I was impressed by the freshness, portion size and flavor. The broth was delicious on its own, and the addition of fried tofu and some cooked but not soft veggies really hit the spot. I will definitely return!

Pho 4 U is a charming spot with a cute, cozy vibe. The Vietnamese drama or music videos playing in the restaurant add to the warm, "auntie's shop" atmosphere, making it a welcoming place to dine. Food This is definitely my favorite pho place in Atascadero. The pho is especially great during winter--fulfilling and savory with well-made, chewy noodles and delicious brisket cuts. The meats in the soup are the standout, adding rich flavor to the broth and fatty beef bites. The spring rolls are a must-try, particularly the ones with wontons inside. They're incredibly tasty and addictive, with the shrimp pairing perfectly for a fresh, satisfying bite. The peanut dip complements them well. The pork spring rolls were just okay. Service The staff is super kind and fun! Location The shop has a cute, French-inspired vibe and a quaint location, though parking can be scarce. I recommend visiting in the evenings for better parking availability. The surrounding city scene is also perfect for a nice walk after enjoying your meal. Overall Pho 4 U is a delightful spot with great food, especially the pho and spring rolls. The ambiance, friendly staff, and charming location make it a favorite in Atascadero.

(Texas knows bbq!) And Chef Gregory's is right up there. If you miss good southern or mid-western smoked BBQ stop in and give Gregory's a try. Not only does he do the California favorite of tri-tip (very smokey and very tender!) he also smokes brisket, both pork and beef ribs, and pork belly. The pork belly sweet chili sauce is fantastic! The cole slaw is unique, tangy and tasty. There is a core menu of items available daily. Off the pit is: Tri-tip Wednesday, brisket Thursday, beef ribs Friday and spare ribs on Saturday. But you can call and ask for any of those special day items to be saved for you to pick up on another day if you can't get there. What a great idea. Gregory was very welcoming and willing to discuss menu items and sauce ingredients. I am Celiac, so I needed to know whether any sauces had gluten. Happily most do not. I am now a huge fan and will be back often!

Had never had pork belly smoked before but glad we tried a sampling. Only thing I was missing was a slice of white bread. Chef Gregory also shared a sample of the Mac and cheese. He has his own spice blends, and bbq sauce too I believe. You can buy them there as well. Both he and his lady were so friendly to chat with. I wish them all the success, and with food this good, they can't miss!

It's super family friendly, and our son loves the toddler play area. Our nieces also love the arcade games, so it's a great spot for kids and families. The beer is the best we've had in Atascadero, especially the west coast-style pale ales and IPAs like Atasca-where-o, Afraid of the Grade, Mouse Rock, and Hop Clarity. The staff has always been great, the indoor/outdoor space is awesome for groups, and having a full kitchen makes it even better. This makes total sense knowing that the owners came from San Diego and both worked for PPBC. Being familiar with Wild Fields award-winning brews we settled for the flight and then added some food later. Being a West Coast IPA couple, we were not disappointed with their draft offerings. In addition to IPAs, they have a good representaion of other styles, so there will be something for everyone-as long as they like beer. Wild Fields also puts together a home-brew competion, fuly embracing their community and craft beer roots. The winner gets to brew a batch of their recipe on the house system and this ultra low alcohol, smoked wheat beer was one of the most unique beers I've had. For the food, we had pulled pork and loaded mac-n-cheese. Pulled pork was fine, but I'd prefer more smoke flavor and aroma. For loaded mac, the protein is polish sausage-not something I've seen before. While it somewhat works, I don't think I'd order this again. They also had a ticketed comedy show, which we stayed for after the official closing time on a Saturday. It was fun and totally worth it. With their strong local connections and family atmosphere, Wild Fields in Atascadero is worth the detour from SLO and Paso destinations, especially for families.

It was lacking some of the wheaty-tangy flavor you would get from a longer prove/fermentation. The inside of it was also missing all those nice deep pockets you see in a French baguette. Overall, not a bad baguette, but not one that you yearn for. I'd like to mention the young lady Annabel I had the privilege of meeting outside of the bakery.
