I have found them to be informative and helpful, and very knowledgeable about metalsmithing. PROs: Lots of one on one time, small class sizes, and it is not run like a boot camp like some other metal arts schools in Denver. Concepts are taught with logical progression, reasons and background info given for common studio practices. Skills taught build upon each other with increasing difficulty. - They often get some really good Masters in for specialty classes. I've not been able to afford one so far. - Studio is very well equipped. A little hot in the summer though. - All their own on-site casting equipment, wax classes don't have to send out for outside casting. - First Friday of every month is free open studio night - students can come to the studio and work on their projects. CONs: The evening classes I take are 3 hours long, which seems very short - not a lot of time to get set up and working, along with class instruction and demos. Another hour would really be nice. - The slowest member of the class can slow down the entire class' completion of a project. The Intermediate class I took, the class started the second project on our last class day. Overall -- Highly knowledge teachers, easy going, and WELL taught -- lots of knowledge and REASONS why something should be done a certain way. Recommended!

The teacher clearly favored a couple of students, always helping them first, while the rest of us fell further behind each week. I emailed the teacher to ask if I could come back for a couple of hours to finish, and she never responded. We clearly didn't click, it wasn't much fun, and I will not be taking more classes.

You have to pay additional to get one on one Pilates training or group Pilates classes. There's no incentive to have a membership and pay for Pilates. $80+ a month membership plus anywhere from $75-$90 per session to train with a Pilates instructor one on one. Talked to the manager about it and they're just focused on personal training. Found another option to work 1:1 with a Pilates instructor so cancelling gym membership all together. The population of the gym is older and these members could benefit from easier access to Pilates training. It is such a beneficial exercise routine for functional fitness. Other thing: Women's hot tub is often inoperable.

A 70 yr old friend signed up, her trainer had her stepping up and down on 3 platforms - hurt her knees. Screaming kids in locker room. Complaints from members not being able to use hot tub (when it works) because of kids playing in it, pushing the jet buttons, leary of urine contamination. Showers can be messy. Parking spaces devoted to families that sit empty 95% of the time. Seems to be lacking leadership.
