Unbelievably delicious Polenta Fries with a Mai Tai!
Maureen M.

A better name might be: Screaming Baby and Running Toddler Taproom... Yes, it's family friendly, but couldn't there be a section for those of us who would like to be able to hear a dining companion without the shrieking of babies and toddlers? Seriously. On the plus side... the polenta fries are beyond delicious - scrumptious crispy fries served with honey and sprinkled with parmesan. My Mai Tai was mighty tasty too... Phinney Station - please consider an "adults only" section...

Went here Friday after 5 PM. I would leave extra time to find parking if you're driving. There's a lot of seating upstairs and downstairs. Didn't get to try the food trucks, but they seem to have a pretty good selection . My partner got a beer and I had a really good slushy. they had three or four different types of alcoholic and non-alcoholic slushies. We got our drinks right away and got a nice seat upstairs. May be crowded at times, but we had a lot of fun doing a mini crawl in the neighborhood.

Looking at main bar front. Felt slightly lacking

Food trucks outside made it cool. Service was bland. The girl was trying her best. It's a couple food trucks with great seating and a bar-ish (look at the pics). If you look at it for a bar to just hang and watch a game there's better in the area. It's a cool spot but lacks personality and reminded me more of a juice bar with your patio as seating. Parking not too easily available.

Social indoor and outdoor space. Kid friendly, great cocktails and mocktails. Love that they allow outside food. Friendly and helpful staff. #phinneystation @phinneystation #buzzybooth

My husband and I went there for our first time tonight and the service was amazing! We had a burrito and 3 different tacos from the food truck - they were fantastic. My husband often gets burritos and he said this was the best he's had in over a year. The cocktails were wonderful and our server, Vinnette, was awesome!!! We will definitely come back! #phinneystation @phinneystation #buzzybooth

My husband and I first found Phinney Station during the Greenwood car show over the summer. They weren't technically open, but they did have a mobile beer truck onsite for the car show. We loved the vibe of the place and looked forward to visiting when it was open! Well yesterday was the day we finally made it back! Well LOVED it! They have great beer options (a few of our favorite breweries: Structures & Ravenna!!) And if you aren't a beer connoisseur like me, they have the whole gamut of options!! Including (and not limited to) cocktails, mimosa bar and slushies (I think at least 6 slushy options!) Perfect spot to meet friends or family. (Family friendly so they do have non alcoholic options as well!) We sat upstairs on the deck. It was a colder fall day, so the overhead heaters and gas fire pits on the tables were a nice (and needed) touch! I was actually surprised with the amount of seating indoors and out! We will be back, regularly! We loved the vibe & the options! We have friends that come from out of town often and this is definitely a place we will be taking them!!

The best vibes, good food, and great service. The location and overall layout of the bar is super cute and friendly!!

Phinney Station!

What a brilliant addition to Phinney Station! To walk in and be greeted with the opportunity to snap a free photo at the buzzy booth for free with your friends and family and text it to yourself in minutes. Sweet Memories to remember the good times! Oh! & my review would not be complete without mentioning Soph, the sweetest human! Thank you so much #phinneystation @phinneystation #buzzybooth

I have no pets or kids but enjoyed my experience here. I live in Ballard but we come up to the Phinney/Greenwood neighborhood from time to time to do our weekly walk. We were just down the street cause I had to pick up a bag of coffee for a friend on the east coast. We had walked by earlier in the year when Phinney Station was under construction. It is definitely a neighborhood space and they knew their target market. All the little touches that definitely cater to families with children. The low restroom door handle, stool in the restroom so a child can reach the sink and large changing table. We didn't make it upstairs we sat outside at a picnic table. My friend and I don't mind being around animals or kids. There are some yard games outside and a fire pit. We were there on a nice weather day, curious to see how many people visit when the weather hets cooler and wetter. The outside is well covered but hope the fall and winter months don't effect business too much. There is a Mexican/Asian fusion food truck for food. They seem well organized, have buzzers so you know your order is ready. Food was decent my friend got the fish and chips which cane with a side of caramelized pineapples slaw. I had the Bulgogi steak salad. I would agree the slushy drinks are on the sweeter side but $12 seemed like a decent price for them, and they have a list of other non slushy cocktails and beer and liquor to select from. I didn't think the wait time line for drinks was too slow for how busy they were on a Monday. Staff were friendly. Like that there are wait stations for you to put trays, garbage etc. Well marked compost and garbage bins. They even have a cup for your straw wrappers at the bar. Was a nice casual space that we we probably visit again if on the neighborhood

If you are a childless cat/dog lady like I am, then this place is not for you. It's marketed as a family friendly establishment and wow, the families really said "bet" on that. Cool cocktails at a good price, but the daycare atmosphere really kills my vibe. Bummer because the rooftop patio is cool, but I can only handle so much shrieking from the children.

This place is such a vibe! I'm glad to finally check it out on a bustling Friday night. Its design is like a Barbie Dreamhouse with all the hot pink trim throughout. They have 2 food trucks/pods there right now. Culina being one of them which serves up exceptional food! I love their Smashburgers, Garlic Fries, and Polenta Fries that is an award winner and it's obvious why. Keep in mind that Culina is only here a few times a week. Phinney Station was very lively on a Friday night with both adults and kids present. So, yes, this place is family-friendly. There is ample tables and seating on two levels that are basically open-air, plus a few pinball machines upstairs, and an outstanding bar where I ordered a refreshing Frosé. I think you can eat here year-round because I spotted a lot of overhead heat lamps. Street parking only. Leave your attitude and worries at the door. What a cool Phinney Ridge business!!!

How I heard of this place: Having been under construction for months, and on our walking path, we witnessed the space going up and many in the neighborhood eagerly awaited its opening. Type of cuisine: A food cart serving Mexican food is available at the patio. Inside, "fancy" slushies, some containing alcohol, a couple not. Ambiance: A fun outdoor space, turf covered patio with umbrella seating and space heaters (for the coming cold weather), as well as a small turf space for lawn games exist outside. Follow the line indoors, where open air is welcomed on warm summer days, to a bar-inspired seating area under the cover of a roof, which doubles up as the floor to the upstairs covered patio loft. Upstairs, patrons will also find a lounge area for indoor seating, alongside pinball machines. The space is very new and modern and carries a cool aesthetic. What I ordered: Not being people who consume alcohol, we selected two of their three non-alcoholic options - strawberry lemonade and watermelon. The third was a margarita flavor, which seems to be made with non-alcoholic tequila, a flavor that wasn't at all one any of us enjoyed. The watermelon was powerfully sweet in a fake watermelon way, similar to a watermelon lollipop, but with ten times the sugar. The strawberry-lemonade, too was overly sweet, but at least had a hint of tartness with the lemon flavor. What I loved: That you are able to sample flavors prior to committing to one. Why I loved it: The space is cool and open and has a nice vibe. The ice-y beverages made for a fun treat on a hot, summer day. Cost: Overpriced. High.

Came here on a Thursday evening with 2 of my friends. The wait to order is long but not too bad. The atmosphere is great, very fun and friendly. Reminds me of Barbie's dream house from the movie. I'd be curious to see the vibe once it starts raining. We had such a fun time drinking and catching up here, would definitely recommend!! My favorite drink was the Mai Tai, tasted a lot like vanilla. $5 for a single taco is silly tho, i definitely wouldn't come here for food. I wish they had more shareable appetizers. follow for more local reviews

We walked in as a party of 2 on a Thursday around 9pm and it was not too busy - probably half the bar was occupied. We opted to sit at one end of the bar because the bar seats are where the vibes are at. The place is decorated in a fairly elegant and old school manner, so you are somewhat transported away from the outside reality. We got the Tobe's Thique Mint and Garden Party. I loved the creaminess and cinnamon afternotes of Tobe's Thique Mint, and it also looks somewhat pretty. It is quite a heavy drink, so one was enough to fill me up. The Garden Party was a bit of a miss since as much as I tasted the orange and grapefruit, it was a very light drink and tasted a little watered down. The biggest plus is that the drinks are fairly affordable compared to the greater Seattle area, priced at $14. I liked how their menu says 14 for $14, as they have just 14 cocktails to choose from and the drinks seem to rotate seasonally. For us, we went just in time to still have the spring menu, but they will change to the summer menu on June 20.

The arancini was a special of the evening and came out perfectly hot and crispy. The calamari was also fried very well. I did dock a star because about 80% of the food items on the menu were unavailable even though it wasn't closing yet. The restaurant was a bit chilly on this winter morning, but they had a fire roaring and warm staff to make up for it. My party ordered two breakfast sandwiches, and one of their classic breakfasts. Everything was great. Their breakfast potatoes are flavorful and plentiful, along with the rest of the meal portions. Each dish came with a small side salad as well.
