Don't be an idiot and get ripped off buying chemically laced bullshit logs at your overpriced city market. Get the real thing from Phil. He guarantees you more for less and he delivers it promptly to your door anywhere In the city. (Yeah, the UBER of FIREWOOD). Try Phil out and you'll see.

5 bags of kiln dried, and 2 bags of kindling, included delivery and stacking. Great service

I need wood for indoor and outdoor, I know there may be a difference but I cannot recall? I need 1/4 chord delivered and stacked. Love the kiln dried. Can you tell be if you…

The main differences between air-dried and kiln-dried wood is moisture content and bugs. Both can be stored indoors or outdoors although I wouldn't recommend storing indoors for more than a few weeks. (Garage or shed is ok for longer) See our…

I found this place on a Google search. Even though they were 20 miles away, I was running out of cherry wood (my favorite for pork) so I gave them a call to make sure they had what I wanted and then drove over. Their yard was completely organized. Wood piles pre-stacked in full, half and quarter cords. Each stack was labeled - mixed hard wood, hickory, etc. I saw the 1/4 cord of cherry I was looking for and told the owner my kid's and I would load it ourselves. He offered to take some money off but I told him not to worry about it since the wood was perfectly sized and 100% cherry (usually there's some wrong packaging). He asked what meats I smoked and I have him the list. He then gave me a 6 log bundle of sassafras on the house. He said it goes great with chicken. I'll try it this weekend. I've been buying cooking woods for a long time but never had an experience this good. Maybe it's like this in more rural areas but for city barbequers like me, this place is a must.
