Great place shop. It's a smaller place with just a handful of sales people, but they are so attentive. I appreciate the focus on my needs.

Worse place to service a car. Sunroofs do not leak and should not do so, if there worth anything at all.

Diligent and helpful salesman Josh Menough is the only reason this establishment isn't getting one…read morestar from me. Josh is awesome, and any dealership would be lucky to have him. Philpott's inventory is nice, they have a great website to browse their vehicles and order from, and they seem to be in a convenient location. They seem to ask reasonable prices for their vehicles. However - their Financing department and Sales Leadership are both very shady. I tried to purchase a vehicle from out of state, a completely ordinary and common practice, and they made me jump through hoops. The lengthy process culminated them in telling me they cannot accept out-of-state financing, and only would accept financing from in-Texas. After seeing the abysmal rate their preferred lenders offered, despite my good credit, I declined and went to pursue financing from an in-state Credit Union. Knowing that I would get a better rate from the CU rather than their subpar lenders, they told me they would not accept this financing, and they lost a very serious and dedicated customer. While none of this is illegal, and it's well within their rights to not accept outside financing, I have literally never encountered this in my life. I advise you do not do business with Philpott, nor any other Sonic network dealer, due to their shady and unethical business practices.

What's this? A dealership with a 5 star review? Tell me it isn't so, well it is…read more This review is based on the experience I had in the service department during the first month of January. I got off of work at 5 pm thinking all of the Tech's were going to be gone as well as the service advisor. They actually kind of close at 5:30 pm I guess to get your car in there and get it started the next morning, good thing. Dana was my service advisor, she diligently took in all of my information including the important extended warranty that I had with my vehicle and called them the next day. My frightful thing is being out of town and having to get to work the next morning with no ride. Dana quickly got me wisked into a pee wee sized Chevrolet Sonic? but hey, beggars can't be choosers and by this time it was past their closing time. What brought this service over the top for me? The finally answer after me saying "I'm sorry for keeping you all here late, I know you all want to go home" before she said "There is no problem, that is what I am here for". What? No grunt? No groan? No "I'm off the clock" by the techs that were taking my car to the back? Well this is so not fast foodish if you know what I mean. Next day after keeping touch with Dana and bugging the Ford...I mean crap out of her frequently I was able to get my car out same time same place with only a $100 deductible that burnt a hole out of my wallet. One of the most important things to know if you own a STS v is that you do not necessary have to take it to a Cadillac dealer to get it serviced, a GM, is a Gm and a GM tech is a GM tech. This dealership is located on the West side of Highway 69 right down from "The Jungle", you drinkers know exactly what I'm talking about.

UPDATE: I was contacted by the manager this morning and they are going to try and make things…read moreright. They are taking my truck back to repair what they can and put me in a loaner vehicle while they have my truck. It is greatly appreciated. I purchased a 2013 Ford F150 from there on July 23. When I asked about whether the dealership had a standard limited warranty (even a 30 day), I was told no, but if something wasn't right, they would take care of it if it was immediately noticed. Well, the first issue I had was that there was a recall on the truck that could have been very dangerous. I found it on the car fax, but when I asked the salesman about it, he said he had no idea about it. The second issue I had was the backup camera failed the day after I bought it. The third issue I had was the AC started blowing hot air less than a week after I had it. I imagine that they gave it a quick recharge just to show it had cold air. After paying $200 one week and one day after I had it, it appears there is a leak in the AC line. By one week and two days, my brakes are squeaking and when I slow down to make a stop, the truck shakes. What exactly did Twin City Honda to to this truck during their inspection? Most likely, nothing really. Makes me wish I would have just purchased from a private seller-you get the same liabilities buying from a private seller as you do a dealership. I have voiced my issues to the dealership and they didn't do anything. I was asked whether I purchased a warranty and I did not. From experience, they are worthless. Think twice before buying from this dealership. They do the absolute bare minimum on their used vehicles and that is a shame. Would be nice to know they would stand by what they sell, but they're only out to make a quick buck. Looks like in addition to the price of the vehicle, I'm looking at dropping at least another thousand into repairing what should have been taken care of by the dealership BEFORE they put this truck on the lot. 10 days in of having this truck and the AC is broke, needs new rotors and brakes, the back up camera needs to be replaced, and I pray nothing else goes wrong!

Brutal, Dishonest Dealership Tactics -- Avoid Ben & Michael…read more Yesterday I was negotiating with salesman Ben and his manager, Michael, regarding a Honda Civic Sport Hatchback. Right out of the gate, Ben tried using classic, tired dealership tactics, claiming he was "fighting for a good deal for me" while trying to force garbage, high-markup add-ons into the price (fabric protection, cheap plastic accessories, and useless wheel locks). Eventually, they dropped their price to $30,575 Out-The-Door (OTD) for a straight cash deal. If they try to charge you a penny more than $30,575 for this trim, know that you are being severely ripped off. I might have actually proceeded with the deal at that number, but Michael tried to act offended and play the victim, telling me point-blank, "I don't like being called a liar" when I called him out for claiming they were losing money at that price. I am writing this review specifically because his fake, hurt attitude while actively trying to squeeze a buyer really pissed me off. Here is the exact mathematical proof exposing Michael's "losing money" lie for anyone looking to buy here: * Their Final OTD Offer: $30,575.00 * Minus Texas Title & License Fees: -$250.00 * Minus Texas Dealer Doc Fee: -$220.00 * Adjusted Subtotal (Vehicle + Tax): $30,105.00 * Divide by 1.0625 to strip the 6.25% Texas Sales Tax: $28,334.11 Their actual vehicle selling price on that $30,575 OTD offer is $28,334.11. When you compare their actual selling price ($28,334) against a standard factory invoice net dealer cost for this vehicle (~$27,118), they are still pocketing over $1,200 in pure vehicle profit--plus whatever massive margin they have on those pre-installed plastic add-ons. They weren't losing a dime. They were making money and lying to my face about it. Take your cash elsewhere.
