And the bread was warm and chewy. I'm making myself hungry for it again as I'm writing this review. My kid had the bacon, egg, and cheese and was likewise impressed. And once they like a place, they will be back on the regular. And this is the kind of place that looks like it draws regulars. I'd like to try more of their range of options. The egg and cheese sandwich choice is usually nothing special, but given how much I enjoyed the half of that simple sandwich that I managed to eat, I'm guessing they do other things well, too. To be exact, we ordered 25 for a mere $8, or almost 33 cents a pretzel. Talk about dirt cheap - not bad if you're trying to feed a Boy Scout troop, eh? Luckily, the Factory doesn't mess with a good thing - their take on the classic elongated Philly pretzel, with bits of salt, is virtually identical to the unsanitary ones you can get on the Boulevard. For flavor (and to fight against bacterial infection), I always slather on a package of spicy mustard. Go celebrate National Pretzel Day (that's April 26, for those who don't know) and get some!
