Through our conversation, I learned so much about what to look for to indicate the QUALITY of a good dog walker including being insured and bonded, what is included in their walking services and even clues to listen for when talking about adhering to a training schedule. I left our conversation not only equipped to find the right walker for my 4 month old Beaglier, but also feeling extreme remorse that I couldn't hire her as my dog's daily caregiver. I was able to locate that same toy at this shop. The price was very reasonable! The order arrived sooner than expected. A staff member reached out to me to tell me of a delay in the shipping, but the item ended up arriving when expected. My cat is very happy with his replacement toy. I will be ordering from this shop again in the future. A nice touch to the item, was that it let me know who packaged the item, which to me, showed that it was packaged with care.

I was a little dubious given the state of her house and yard, both of which were in a high state of neglect. But I was desperate for that weekend, so I dropped them off on Friday. The weekend turned rainy, so I let Sarah know on Saturday evening that I was returning early and the dogs would not be staying over on Sunday nite. I arrived home on Sunday at 11am and called to pick them up. Sarah informed me that she would be home at 3pm and I could get them then. Later, she asked for 3:15. When I arrived at 3:30 ish, she was just getting home. Obviously, she was not home most of the day Sunday to care for the dogs, which is what she was being paid for. She later sent me a bill for the whole 3 overnights amount, $300. When I called her to dispute this, she claimed that I hadn't given 24 hour notice, which I had. But she also became very argumentative. I told her she could have $300 with a review or $250 without one. She did not respond to this and a couple of weeks later, after not hearing from her, I tried to pay her through her website. The website was not working, so I sent her cash through PayPal. I added a note that I was paying this way because her website wasn't working. I still did not hear back from her so I eventually called PayPal to be sure she had received the money, which she had. A couple of weeks later, I received my AMEX bill and saw that she had already billed AMEX for the full amount. And she took the PayPay money as well. Responsible? NO. Flexible? NO Honest? NO I would never recommend this business nor this caretaker. I would worry about her house falling apart and no one being home with the dogs. And I had to block her from calling or texting me. Buyer beware.

They come on time, send me an update once the walk is completed which usually has a photo of the mutts looking happy, and generally have been very responsive to any issues. We have also utilized her overnight stays for vacations. We also have 2 cats - so all 4 animals are well cared for and loved while we are away. They took care of puppy destruction one visit and dog diarrhea another changing the diet to boiled chicken and rice. Always with great communication throughout to let me know what was happening. Offered to take dog to vet when he was sick with diarrhea. My house and my animals are safe and well cared for. Never feel worried while on vacation. Highly recommend her service!

They were very receptive to my concerns (my dog is adopted and has some anxiety and trouble interacting with other dogs) and put me at ease. They were even able to help get our dog walking better on leash (less pulling) and walking with other dogs! I never thought our dog would be able to go on walks with other dogs, but they are truly miracle workers! Their website is easy to use and I loved getting pictures and updates every day about how the walk went. Also, they are quick to respond and are very accommodating. More than once I had a last minute request and they were always able to find someone to take care of our dog. If you are looking for a dog walker on the main line, definitely pick Dog Gone Walking!!
