I dropped my pup off at a house, not the house in the web-site picture. A house that's a little rough. OK. I dropped him off at 8:30 am. I didnt hear from her all day and into the evening so I texted her to make sure everything all right. (9 pm) She answered that he was there on her bed. No other communication or photos. OK... I pick him up at 8 the next morning. It is a frigid cold day and she answered the door in short pants and flip flops. I wonder where my pup is-- oh, he is out back. Alone. Paw freezing icy cold snow which I warned her he cant take on his pads. She goes into the kitchen and lets him in. That was odd to me, but OK. I Venmo her payment. She says the amount was wrong, I owed her for 2 fees, a day fee and a night fee (double what I paid her). I told her he was there for 24 hours so that seemed like one fee and was with every other pet sitter I have used. I questioned it, not because she doesnt have the right to set her own fees, but it doesnt say anything about it on her web site. She also didnt tell me before hand. I was thinking about it (I don't want to stiff someone, especially small biz owner) and pointing it out to her about her web site and she just kept saying it was on there which was either a lie or serious forgetfulness. After I pointed this truth out trying to figure out why I was getting gas lit she sent me a mean text about how difficult and a waste of time I am when I should be grateful to her taking such good care of him. Grateful? Isn't that basic decency? That's a little grandiose-- which sums up the whole thing.

Walk this Way (Sandy) has been so accommodating in these situations. My husband and I are also provided with such piece of mind knowing that a walker familiar with Larry will come to see him. In general, the company is well run and the walkers and staff seem to truly care about the pets . We are not looking forward to moving away from them in the spring! :-(

The moment that made me trust this company forever: one day, our dog walker (Faith) came in and found my dog had thrown up in her crate. She immediately picked up and cuddled my still-puke-covered dog because she was crying, and cuddled and comforted her. Faith then cleaned up the soiled toys and tried to clean the bed, and when she realized the bed would need a deeper clean, she found a replacement and made sure my dog was ok before she went back in the crate. Faith texted me everything and kept me updated, and she even volunteered to come out and check on my dog in a couple of hours if I could not get back from work. That sort of care is not something you can put a price on, and I am so grateful. If I could give ten stars, I absolutely would!

These Angels are terrible! I have been very disgusted with…read moreAngel Pet Sitting (APS) and would not recommend them. While on vacation in early September for four days, we hired APS. We got a call about two hours from home that one of our dogs had a "little diarrhea". Wen we got home, we found our dog was sick, pooping blood and showing signs of dehydration, There was dog feces all over the second floor bedrooms (at least 20 different spots). We got the dog to the vet and got him treated. H's OK. The notes left by the sitter indicated that the diarrhea had started day before we had come home. We left her specific instructions to call if there was any problem, but she waited until hours before our arrival to alert us. The poop was everywhere including at least six spots around the bed she was supposedly sleeping in while we were away. In addition her notes indicated she only used a hand towel in the bathroom and showered at work. I do not believe she stayed with our dogs, or if she did not more than the first night, but only made entries in her log to make it appear so. You could not walk through the upstairs without seeing and smelling the odor. We never received any requests for feedback, so we opted just to clean things up and never use them again. To our surprise, we got a letter in the mail from them claiming we owed them an additional $95 for services. I attempted on several occasions to explain that I thought the services was not what it was billed to be and agreed with one of the owners Jan Brillman to take the matter to small claims court where we could resolve the matter. After agreeing that was what we should do, she told me she was sending the issue to a collection agency. Some focus on customer service. I could not even get her to send me a copy of a supposed contract we had signed from three years ago when we first used them for an overnight stay. My wife and I felt that they put our dogs life in jeopardy. God know what it would have taken to get them to alert us if the dog had a seizure or got loose. Don't use them!

Even though Dina never hides from strangers, she does tend to act aloof around them. But she seemed to get along really well with Lauren the first time they met. While I was away during the summer, Lauren did a great job taking care of Dina. I love that she recorded what she did with Dina during every visit in details.
