He doesn't have a mean bone in his body, he only knows how to play, and is brought up in a very good, loving household. We were told that he growls at the help there, and he is too energetic that he jumps the fences there. For the amount of virtue signaling they spew all over their social media about knowing how to "actually" love their pets, through the "proper" training, is quite laughable. We were told that our 7 month old GOLDENDOODLE PUPPY, cannot return there, because they are afraid for their safety. Listen, if you don't want to do the job, then find another business. Poor poor management. Never would I recommend them. We even added a "Birthday" add on for our newly turned 5 year old. Guess we can wish in one hand and s#*t in the other to see which one fills up first. No "Birthday" celebration for her...

They were recommended to us by a friend who had nothing but positive things to say about Dog Talk as well as Mike and Theresa. Well....2023 and we have rescued 3 additional dogs, a lab/pit mix, a pit/shepherd mix who are both 1 years old and just recently added an american bulldog/pit/hound mix who's only 12 weeks (can't wait for her to be old enough and vaccinated to attend daycare). We recently switched to the Fort Washington location only because it is more convenient for me, on my way to work, but we still go back to Blue Bell every once in a while because I know the pups miss Mike! Well, we just took our very first vacation in 10 years because we always put it off knowing we didn't have anyone we trusted with our fur babies. Well, not anymore!! The three oldest pups were boarded at Dog Talk at the Fort Washington location and LOVED it so much and so did mom and dad. Knowing they were well cared for and loved during their time spent with Theresa. Theresa even put up with my crazy dog mom check-ins throughout the week. They even thrived while being boarded learning a few new things and now listen even a little better than before. Cage-free boarding (or you can bring your cage if that's what your dog's prefer, like ours). Set schedule of feeding to keep on track with the home schedules and play, play, play! There is so much engagement for the dogs at daycare from bubbles to water play to rest to playing chase with other dogs. I always appreciate Mike and Theresa and their knowledge of dogs and how to train them, but really we're the ones needing and being trained. I have picked both Mike and Theresa's brain on a multitude of items relating to my dogs and their recommendation/advice has always been spot on! Theresa and Mike are always so responsive and have nothing but the best interests of the dogs in mind 24/7. It is hands-down a blessing we found Dog Talk; I will not take my puppies anywhere else. I can't wait for next year, it was so nice to not have to worry so much while away, we've already booked our trip for next year! The D'Amico four will be there all week next July! Thank you Mike and Theresa for all you do.

I was told that my position change was temporary, but months later I was informed that the transition I had been expecting was no longer happening. I was never clearly informed of that change and only found out after asking for an update myself. I was also told that I was approved to work an 8:30-4:30 schedule moving forward. This schedule adjustment was discussed due to previous attendance write-ups related to delays with the city bus. My understanding was that this change would help ensure I could consistently arrive on time and avoid any further attendance-related disciplinary action. Then, without warning, I received an email informing me that my employment was being terminated. I was not given a clear explanation for the decision, which left me confused and frustrated. In my experience, there was a lack of transparency and consistent communication regarding decisions that affected my employment. I often felt unclear about expectations and changes to my role. Thankfully, I already had another job lined up. However, my experience left me disappointed and reinforced my concerns about how employees are communicated with and managed

The person who took my dog in the morning was completely inappropriate with dogs, yelling "no" at them. The introductory package should have meant more one on one time with my dog, but I don't feel like that happened. I addressed it with the owner, but don't know if any action, if any was taken to insure other dogs would not be yelled at. I like Charlene but would absolutely not recommend based on the person she hired to take care of dogs in the morning.

Really great to have all of his energy burned off and be socialized at the same time. As he got bigger, they put him in with the older dogs to learn and play. The facility is clean and safe and everyone on staff loves dogs and take great care of their clients! Charlene's has also been super reliable in doing walks from home on those days were daycare is too much for our guy. They've had our garage code for almost a decade and it's been flawless. Mud is never trampled into the house. These walks give him plenty of exercise, rain or shine! Our dog is starting age out of daycare, but occasionally still goes and is really excited to get there on those mornings. They've also been very flexible in accommodating sudden problems with scheduling or basic forgetfulness on my part. Great customer service for owners, love and care for pets!

Laurie started working with me before I even bought my dog. She taught me tips on how to pick my puppy out from the breeder and what to look for in his personality. One of the best parts about working with Laurie is that she explains things so well. She not only teaches you what to do, but how to do it, and WHY you're doing it. She helped in: choosing a puppy from the breeder, house breaking, crate training, leash training, walking-off a leash training, barking, dominance issues, behavior around guests, dietary issues and how to treat minor health issues. She's shared so much knowledge with me, that I'll forever be grateful. My dog is awesomely trained and gets so many compliments. This is who you want to help you!

Despite being a smaller company, they have managed to accommodate my weekends and changing schedule. More importantly they always pick up the phone when I need them. Some companies in this area wouldn't even call me back when I was trying to find a dog walker. I also use Laurie for dog training. There are different schools of thought on dog training but one thing in particular shines about Laurie: she is great at teaching you how to communicate with your dog effectively in a household/family dynamic. She is training me as much as she is my dogs. I could easily give this review 5 stars. Only thing holding me back is time. I've only used services for a few weeks now.
