The tech, Shawn, called when he was 16 min out and arrived right at the beginning of the two-hour window that had been promised. He couldn't have been more friendly, polite and professional. He got to the root of the problem quickly, and then found another. He fixed that, too. It had been a clogged drain and a blown wire of some kind. Then, he gave me some tips on how to keep the unit clean and fit going forward. I am so glad I called Hawkins and they will be my go-to appliance repair from now on. Tom picked up listened to my issue and told me he would call me back between 7 to 7:30 Monday. Fast forward to Monday he called me 7:30 on the dot. Said he would be there 9-11. 9:40 he calls and they are on their way. They came over and changed the belt. After that it had to cycle through because it's the new fangled kind that has a bunch of electronic crap. So they left for another customer and told me to give them a call after it cycled through. Of course it didn't work and it kicked my bracket off. I have them a ring and they said they had to call Speed Queen to trouble shoot and get back to me. So of course I thought they weren't going to get back to me and now the issues would start. Not so! Within an hour they called me back to say they had spoken with a tech and the electrical board had to be replaced. They'd be back in 20 minutes. It's awesome to work with a company that is punctual and does what it takes to keep the customer satisfied. Make sure you tip these guys!
