Pierside plumbing was quick to respond, and gave a quote that was reasonable. They came to look at what needed to be done and the cost was higher than the estimate. Okay, I get it, it's a financial stretch but things needed to get done. We had a dishwasher replacement that resulted in finding out we had leakage in our garbage disposal and that our kitchen sink really needed to get replaced because it wasn't worth saving and likely contributing to the leakage issues. Most folks would say that they were trying to scam me into these replacements, which I won't deny everyone wants to make a little more where able- but I also know my house is old and I've been putting off any major upgrades just because it was still working. Garbage disposal replaced on the spot, awesome. Sink replacement was going to take longer, and what was sad for me was my instant hot water tap wasn't going to be salvaged and I had to pay for my own replacement and labor replace that ontop of the sink replacement- I'm not angry about this, just gotta say it for what it is. Ontop of all that, the floorboard of our kitchen sink was basically gone and needed to be replaced too. So while I'm going to say Pierside did do a great job, there's a couple things worth noting that aren't anyone's fault but did affect the experience, and the reason for one star off: 1) there's less than a handful of guys working these jobs, and naturally some jobs take longer than others. We did get cancelled on before we could get our job worked on, and while ours was being worked I noticed they had to cancel someone else's job after mine which I felt terrible about. 2) when it came time to figure out which sizing and brands to use for a new kitchen sink, we were told we could order through them for wholesale pricing. Ultimately, we had to buy a sink from Home Depot on the spot, it was an inconvenience but I'm not blaming anyone because life happens. Overall I would still recommend Pierside plumbing, just be understanding that they are understaffed, and expect higher than the estimated cost for the final cost.

After years of dealing with my main line clogging and clearing it myself with my 75 foot snake, I…read moredecided to address the situation head on. After talking to a couple of plumbers that we use in the Custom Homebuilding company I work for and making no progress, I remembered Crandall's and decided to give them a call. Since it wasn't an emergency, I scheduled the appt for a Monday morning. After explaining the situation, I was told the team would be out with a snake and camera equipment. Hector worked diligently to diagnose the problem. They were able to get a great understanding and explained the issue and repair, and provide a quote within minutes, which due to how well it was explained and showing me the video images, I quickly approved. They said they would start the next day. After asking if I had any other issues, I had them change out a cartridge in one of my showers that was stuck due to non-use. Day two was excavation and discovery, and even with all the complications, Hector calmly explained that he anticipated most of it and even with a couple of related issues, he said he could handle it all. Work included jackhammering a footing and removing a large tree root, that were crushing my main line, installing a two way clean-out, replacing the damaged section and hydro-jetting my entire mainline. All major work was done in one day, but they did have to come back on Wednesday to back fill and cap off the clean-outs. When they were done the area was just as nice as it was before the work. We discussed the ongoing maintenance to assure it doesn't get to this point again, and after 10+ years of being on my mind, I finally feel good with the plumbing issues with my home.
