    Gigantic blueberries
    Julie Ying X.

I came here on a Saturday morning with a group of 5 people. I called in advance to see what fruit was available for picking. They had blueberries, blackberries, red currants, plums, yellow nectarines, white nectarines, yellow peaches, and donut peaches. The farm was much larger than I expected. The price per pound was pretty reasonable. The blueberries and blackberries were gigantic. It was quite a far walk to the red currants so I probably would skip that next time. The farm was well maintained and there was so much fruit (in terms of variety and quantity) to pick. What's great was that there was no admission fee. The plastic bags were free and the buckets cost $2. There's a $5 minimum purchase which was not that hard since there's so much fruit to buy here. I would definitely come back next year! This was the best and largest farm I've been to in New Jersey.

Came for Apple picking one beautiful Saturday afternoon. The trees were picked over, but still was able to walk away with a fair amount of apples. Decently priced and a fun afternoon. Bonus - got a 1/2 gallon of the cider and it was awesome!

We did the pick your own apples! Under 10lbs was 2$ a pound. We also picked up a 1/2 pint of apple cider. The Apple cider is much lighter then typical apple cider which we loved! Not sure price though didn't get a recipiet. You need to go to the farm stand first where we were given directions to the picking and a bag. We picked our apples then drove back to the stand and paid. Tons of fruit, vegetables and homemade butters, salsa, jellies! They did have a window that is open at the farm probably on busier days so you wouldn't have to go back to the farm stand. We went on a Wednesday. Tons and TONS of nats when we were picking. It was so bad it made us hurry up to find apples and leave. Highly recommend bug spray!

13# of blackberries! Can't wait to put these in my smoothies!

This place is fantastic! Today we picked blackberries, raspberries, and peaches. The raspberries were a little more picked over, but we still managed to nearly full a bucket, ~11#. Blackberries on the other hand... JACK POT! This was the perfect weekend to be out there, as they were in perfect condition for picking! Peaches as well! Prices are reasonable, and the staff was courteous and helpful. Plenty of free parking and no fee to enter into the fields. I recommend going first thing in the morning when it is a little cooler, otherwise, the hotter temps may not make it as enjoyable for some.

There is new ownership recently, and they kept much of the original menu as well as adding some new dishes. Recent experience wasn't great... Service really suffering, took 20 minutes to get our first drink. Also - the cocktail pours are extremely light for what they are charging. Food was OK... Pizza has always been very good here but recently they just don't seem to season it at all. Two of us ordered the fish of the day @$39...small piece of cod, and just four pieces of potato ...meaning two small potatoes cut in half...and mine was actually missing the sauce. I'm not sure how that dish leaves the kitchen in a restaurant that is supposed to be of high caliber. They need to do better.

We had a 7 PM reservation on a Wednesday night, and the place and parking lot were packed! Good sign to start! To begin, I enjoyed the Ruby grapefruit mocktail. Although I'd love trying new and unique cocktails at different establishments, I was in the mood for something light and refreshing and nonalcoholic. This hit just a spot. For food, we started off with the margherita pizza to share. Then, I opted for the crispy, buttermilk chicken sandwich with malt vinegar, potato wedges/fries. It was very delicious. The sandwich was crispy and fresh and the bun looked like it was handcrafted. The malt fries were unique because they had a vinegar powder on them. I've never tasted malt vinegar before, and it was a unique texture. Our waitress was very friendly, but I wish she had been a bit more attentive. She only stopped by to ask us for our drink order, our food order, and to give the check. My friends wanted to order more drinks, but because she did not come around as frequently as we would have liked, they were unable to place another order. I will give her the benefit of the doubt, however, because the restaurant was bustling from start to finish. Overall, very nice setting and meal. Cute decor, including an Anthony Bourdain abstract portrait.

First, the restaurant is so cute. It's like you're transported to a teahouse! The staff are really friendly, and they let you know immediately that everything is farm to table. The eggs were a deep yellow so I knew it was the truth. If you go, definitely order the biscuits and the mimosa flight. The biscuits comes with 4 different spreads (fig jam, peach butter, strawberry butter, and a brown sugar butter). The biscuits were a good size, and my favorite spread was the fig jam. I wish I could have put some in a jar. The mimosa flight flavors are so fun. I was not a fan of the soursop but the lychee and passionfruit are really good. For the main dish, we tried the chicken & waffle and the tres leches French toast. The chicken was seasoned perfectly and was crispy. The French toast was actually on a croissant. I can't wait to come back here!

The waitress was super nice about it and had it remade right away. The short rib was tender and really flavorful, and the salad and homemade chips on the side were great. The rest of the table got omelettes and enjoyed them too. Would definitely come back to try more of the menu.

We ordered the Caesar salad (phenomenal) The steak tartare, just divine perfection The waitress heard me talking about the sweat breads from the chicken dish (that I wasn't ordering, I'll explain shortly) and said the chef could do them as a side dish, DELICIOUS!!! My husband got the world's largest most delicious pork chop. Now, my meal. I ordered the halibut and recognized that perhaps it wasn't for me, but I ordered it it was my choice I wasn't going to send it back. Our waitress took note that I wasn't eating and told me that simply would not do and hustled to the kitchen to come out with the chicken dish, I was so appreciative of her noticing and accommodating this, truly, amazing service and that chicken was succulent beyond words! We also got 3 of the desserts, the seasonal eggnog bread pudding, the cinnamon raisin bread pudding which was insanely delicious as I personally am not a huge bread pudding fan but if every bread pudding was this? That would be my go to! And of course the butterscotch pudding which better never leave the menu because it is lick your plate delicious!!! I also enjoyed a hot cocktail which on a cold night was heavenly. Bolete is such an incredible culinary journey that we specifically go there from our home state because we know it will always be inviting, delicious and warm with heart and soul from the chef and staff.

A once cozy and romantic atmosphere, is now a crowded, loud dining room. I had made a reservation on Resy (as per Bolete's website) and requested an upstairs table. In the notes, I mentioned our anniversary, and that we were looking forward to a cozy table to celebrate. Unfortunately, we were seated in the middle of two other parties, whom were both facing us. The lighting was contemporary, and kept brightening then dimming, repeatedly throughout the evening. There was little to no decor, I'm assuming that was removed to fit the volume of tables. The food was as delicious, as I had remembered. However, my husband ordered the ribeye, and was told they were out of steak, but that the pork chop was a delicious second choice. Sorry...a pork chop is not comparable to a steak. An appetizer we chose was also no longer available. Perhaps if Bolete had stuck with quality over quantity, they would not have run out of our first choice options? For our few, and far between date nights these days, the overall experience was a disappointment.

The restaurant itself was fine, the atmosphere was good, and our waiter was pleasant. Then the pancakes arrived. They looked great on the plate. One bite later and my two kids wanted nothing to do with them. My wife and I forced down three or four bites before we both started feeling sick. The texture was weirdly gelatinous, the taste was sour and off, and it felt like something that came out of a factory instead of a kitchen. I've had frozen pancakes that tasted better than this. The worst part was looking at the bill: $76. We essentially paid $76 to drink orange juice because no one could eat the food. I've never written a bad review about a restaurant before, but I couldn't let someone else make the same mistake. Do not order the specialty pancakes. They look nothing like the photos and taste even worse. Want it angrier, shorter, or a bit more restrained? I can adjust.
