Oh, well. Like other Costco with fuel, the gas pumps are located. Unless you have a massive vehicle, you can use the pumps on either side as they have very long hoses that will reach across most cars. Prices here are lower than other gas stations in the area because your fuel is "subsidized" by your Costco membership. When you get to the pump, scan your membership card and then your credit card. Then after paying and the products legally belong to me, I have to wait in line so that a Costco employee can pretend that they're checking my receipt against my cart contents. Then they deface my receipt with a marker assuming I never would have cared about being able to read the receipt later.

Without hesitation, the employees and the owner rushed over, moved the cones, and guided me into the oil change center. They quickly diagnosed the problem: my coolant line had completely broken, and all of my antifreeze had leaked out. At that moment, I could have been vulnerable to being overcharged for a repair I knew nothing about. Instead, the owner went above and beyond--personally driving to Napa twice and even trying the Dodge dealership to find the right part. He was upfront about the price (around $200) and even apologized for the cost, though it was completely out of his control. His care reminded me of how my dad or grandpa would have looked after me--genuine, protective, and trustworthy. Because of his quick action, my engine was saved from what could have been devastating damage. He got me back on the road with a very reasonable bill, and I left feeling both relieved and grateful. I even tipped because I felt guilty it wasn't more for the time and effort they put into fixing my beloved Journey (or the "Ourney," since the J fell off!). All the owner asked in return was my continued business--which he now has for life. In a world where service like this is so rare, Marketview Lube is a shining example of kindness, integrity, and heart. This guy wrote back to me with a flat fee of $200, which sounded great. When I asked how long he would have the car, he said two hours if no pet hair. I reminded him that there was pet hair, and suddenly the rate became $300. I get that pet hair is a huge pain! I don't mind that he charges $300 for it. What I do mind is that he pretended not to know I had dog hair in the car so he could make me a low offer, then added it on later once he had my attention. I tried to discuss this with him, and he kept telling me to just go to another detailer if I didn't like his price. I was still trying to explain that it wasn't about his price, it was about the way he lowballed me up front only to raise the price later. He never acknowledged this and just kept arguing about how fair his price is. Either he's not smart enough to understand my point or he's too shady to admit he did something wrong. Either way, I can see why so many of these reviews badmouth this guy.

Today I came in about 20 minutes late and they still honored my reservation- even though they would have been right to turn me away since it was 40 minutes to closing. They knocked out my oil change in about half an hour and paid about $10 less than Walmart would have charged me! Oh I wonder where those came from? Because they most certainly were not there before. Thank god I took a picture of the mileage and tank when we left our car, because then we can see we have almost a completely empty tank of gas now, we left it half way. Oh I know why! Obviously one or more of their workers was using our car for their personal use while it was there. After calling numerous times no one will answer. Everything about our experience has been nothing but stress and inconveniences!! Here in the pictures you can see the proof for yourself!
