It made me feel like she simply didn't want to deal with cutting my son's hair because he was crying. The second stylist had difficulty understanding what I was asking for and had already started putting the cover on my son and wetting his hair before understanding what hairstyle I wanted. My son was also very uncomfortable and crying, which is unusual because he normally does great during haircuts. They asked to buy the deal once I'm there as they have to consult my hair, which was very fair. I was also told that there may be additional costs if I needed other services on top of that. As I've used Groupons for hair services earlier, so I was aware of that already and was open to work around with them. Upon consulting on my appointment day, I wanted to add root touch up and hair treatment. So total for hair cut, highlights, style, root touchup and treatment came to about $135 including the Groupon deal. I showed them a photo of how I like my hair to be. The lady who did my hair was very nice, she suggested what would go well with my hair. I trusted her and asked her to go with her ideas. I'm satisfied with the way my hair looked after service. Although I'd have preferred to see layers of different colored highlights like in the photo that I showed. However, partly my fault I dint specifed that. Everyone in their staff were nice. As it was raining when I left, one of the lady came to hold an umbrella to cover me to get to my car. Really loved their customer service. With in the first week the beads kept slipping down and pulling out from my hair, I had loose extensions hanging all over my head. I called to get an appointment to have this fixed, I was told she was booked for two weeks. My next appointment was three weeks away, I decided to wait until then to go in. Went in for that appointment and had the extensions pulled up, cut and colored. When it was all complete it was over 600.00. With in the first week of having the extensions pulled up, the bottom row came out. Needless to say I was totally disappointed, again I tried to call and make an appointment and was told again she was booked for two weeks. I decided to wait and see how the next few weeks with the extensions, a few of the beads came out from my hair. I get a phone call from the salon stating that Anna Laurel was out due to her pregnancy, and I would have to reschedule. I was not able to make the times that she had available, so I just gave up and found a new stylist.. When the new stylist looked at my hair she was so embarrassed that someone could do that to someone's hair. She did ask me how much I paid for the hair and the services, I told her $1600.00, she was shocked. I checked in on Yelp for my free collagen treatment, which nourishes your hair. Then he cut! He was very meticulous but quick. He ensured that the end result was exactly what you'd hoped for. I'm planning on returning again for highlights/balayage soon!!
