As promised in last year's review, we returned to Sankt Goar last weekend and returned to this great restaurant. And I skipped the lame bier and had some of their local regent red wine - which was so good I bought a case to bring home.
My wife had a salad with bacon-wrapped goat cheese. That bacon/cheese combo was fantastic! I had a wurst/cheese plate with bread under the mistaken impression it was a cooked meal. It was not cooked; just a huge plate of cheese and various sausages. Although it wasn't what I was expecting, it was very good.
No doubt, we'll be back here again next visit to Sankt Goar. read more
