Prices for products are moderate to high. I have occasionally shopped at this store across most categories of products, but more in the past than recently. I prefer to purchase other brands of products from competing stores. Comparatively, I think that the products at Sephora have a similar to lower quality than lower-priced products elsewhere.

The service was not done in a professional or satisfactory way and did not match what I requested at all. The final result looked very heavy and unflattering, and I was unable to attend my event feeling confident. I had to redo my makeup myself, which made me late to a major planned event I had spent months preparing for. Amal basically made me look like a drag queen and everyone at ulta could tell the makeup she had done was horrible. In addition, after I attempted to communicate my concerns and request a refund, I was blocked, which left me with no way to resolve the issue directly. I am requesting that Ulta review this situation and let me know if there is any possible resolution or action that can be taken, since the service was connected to one of your employees. I have to start by saying this is the best hair cut and color that I've ever had in my life!! I had a very dingy blonde color and my hair was really damaged from years of at-home dying. I have very color resistant gray hair and it's almost impossible to achieve any kind of good color from a box kit. I chose the salon at Ulta because I have visited other locations in the past where they gave me a really nice haircut. I have to say, though what Amal did was completely transform me from blah to bombshell!! She took the time to listen to me about everything I was hoping to achieve. I was scared initially that the color she would give me would come out looking very ashy, and that is usually not a good look for me, but the end result completely went above and beyond all of my expectations. I am so happy to have found a skilled hairdresser so close to home who is capable and who listens to me, when others did not. For example, eyeliners and brow pencils here cost only several dollars each but work well. I like the quality of the shampoos, conditioners, and retinol products. I went to 4-5 SB stores looking for the perfect shade of extensions, and unfortunately bought the wrong shade at the Brentwood SB. When I bought this first set, and found out after I went home that it was the wrong shade, I went to the Bridgeville SB. Mia took 15 minutes out of her time to walk me around the store, collecting supplies to dye the extension to the right shade, and walking me through everything I needed to do to dye the extensions to my shade. She even wrote down the steps that I needed to take because I had never dyed hair before! She was especially a life saver in this regard. I can't thank this team of consultants enough and I'm so happy with the extensions that I ultimately bought.
