At times, I was a little nervous of the idea put in front of us, but once I let go of control and trusted the process, the end result was beyond my wildest expectations. Sarah pushed my comfort zone and asked me to try new things, assuring me that if we didn't like it, we could always change it. But there was no need. Everything she did was so beautiful and functional. What started off as a design for one room ended up being the whole house. I am so proud of my home and Sarah I can't thank Sarah enough!

If you love art and have a passion for decorating, this is your one-stop shop for transforming your home into a personal space that truly brings you joy. I trust them completely--and so can you. I'm new to Austin. And there are some really sentimental shops to give business to around here. I feel a little guilty supporting this because it's a small community, and lots of these professionals crossed trained and learned their craft under local tutelage. But Art Direct is one stop. With a long-term renter moving…read moreout, the place required a complete refresh so that it could once again be listed as a fully designed and furnished rental. We needed somebody who could be on site and make decisions with little direct guidance. Denise did the design, the required budgeting, and the planning work upfront to make sure all the required materials would be ready. Then, being the one-stop-shop she is, Denise and her team were able to supervise the clean-up, do the required touch up of paint and such, assemble new furniture pieces, and provide and install all the original art needed to make the place a show stopper. We were super satisfied with the results and feel only an approach like Denise's could have got this done on time and on budget!

I thought that my needs were pretty specific...help with some interior remodeling and new furniture. First the Remodel - Karen's relationships with contractors and vendors is amazing. I loved every single person she put me in contact with. She was quick to tell me where it might be to my financial advantage to work directly with a vendor, and where i might make best use of her involvement. Now for the Interior Design - Holy Cow. Her process is unique, and my needs fell smack in the middle of the COVID situation. I had to put my full faith and trust in her process, which was a bit scary... but I will tell you that hands-down, it was the best, most stress free and effective interior design process i've ever had (and i've done a few houses prior to this one). I absolutely love the results of her efforts...the furniture, the design plan, the decor, everything! And even more than that, i loved the way she took the time to understand me and how she worked with me. Her team is amazing. I couldn't be more pleased. So, my advise is to trust her process...she has a great eye, she is truly able to understand her clients taste and desires, and she knows the products. Not one thing she suggested was wrong. I am a happy happy client.
