I'm of the mindset of "she who buys & wraps awkward presents should carry such presents", I also feel that way about over packing lol. However chivalry is not dead and was alive and well this beautiful morning. There was a tiny snafu in my last booking. The driver was given the wrong street (FYI - there is a Wilke & a New Wilke rd lol). It might have been my Palindrome when he called to book or whomever took the booking... not a big deal, mistakes happen. We were expecting a golf club & ended up in a subdivision. My driver was cool about it & thankfully I had brought my destination address with & we got to my location easy peasy with the help of his GPS. My driver also insisted on making sure the venue was open as the parking lot was empty & it looked closed... I had planned on getting there early to help setup. All was well but what a sweet gesture as he was worried about my safety. My driver said I should call the dispatcher to let them know about the discrepancy & I did. The first thing out of the dispatchers mouth was "is this Leah?". The driver had already called & let them know. The dispatcher was super apologetic and really nice. I felt bad because I could tell she was expecting a complete temper tantrum. As I am not 3yrs old & if a simple mistake is the worst that is going to happen today... it makes for a funny story as far as I am concerned. I reassured her all was good, she was really nice. This is why we LOVE Home James, mistakes happen but it is HOW you handle a mistake that sets you apart from the rest.

Our flight was delayed out of LAX, but they kept in contact throughout. The driver met us with a smile in baggage claim and the vehicle was spotless. Great service and nice people - can't ask for more!

No confirmation email unless you call later and request it. And that only works if you call multiple times. At the beginning I thought it was going to be good because they were texting me and emailing me options with fancy videos of the type of car (I wanted a 14 passenger party bus- Mercedes Sprinter Limo) and when it showed up it was a Sprinter van that was a tight squeeze. We had to ask the driver to keep the lights on the in the back because it was so dark. I could have gotten 2 Ubers if I just wanted transportation, but the point of spending this kind of money is to have a nice experience. The van was so high that I had to get my own step stool so my parents could get into the van. This put a damper on the whole night because we had 3 hours of time in the van and wanted it to be in a fun party bus where I could see my family's faces. The driver was very good though. 5 stars for Hector, we gave him an extra tip for his skill in handling Chicago Rush Hour traffic in such a big vehicle.

A 50 passenger and 24 passenger vehicle was required at each hotel, arriving at 3:30 PM and departing at 3:45 PM. On the Wednesday before the wedding M&M called and confirmed. However, the next day they called to tell us both 24 passenger vehicles were unavailable due to maintenance. By Friday morning they had no solution, so we had to scramble and pay a local shuttle $1,000 for an 18 passenger van and ask some guests to drive or Uber. Two hours before the scheduled pickup we were told a 50 passenger bus wouldn't arrive. Now we were in panic mode! After we demanded a solution, they were able to substitute another 50 passenger bus that had to leave 15 minutes earlier, forcing us to notify guests and adjust plans. The stress and last minute chaos ruined what should have been a celebratory day. If M&M can't reliably staff events in Champaign, they shouldn't accept work there. Return service in the evening after the wedding was also subpar. We expected professional contingency planning and timely communication -- neither was delivered. 2 days after the wedding, I emailed their owner Mike and have not received a response. We did get a call from their account manager Freddie. He assured us that a customer service member would be in contact. That never happened. It was a very disappointing experience!
