She was really attentive and did a really nice job with the polish. I got someone else to do my gel manicure and for her it was just another day in the shop. My gel manicure looks really sloppy. A lot of my nails are unevenly filed and when I mentioned it she disagreed with me. When I was like, "I'll just file it myself." She talked me out of it and said when the polish was on it would appear even. Turns out that was wrong. It's not noticeable from a distance. But if I wanted an unprofessional job I really could have done it myself or probably even better. Then a fuzzy dried on my nail with the clear coat. I pointed it out before she polished it and she just decided to paint three coats of polish on top of it like an a-hole. This just goes to show when you find a place you like, it's never worth the time to venture somewhere new.

I walked in, the nail technician removed my old nail color and soaked my finger tips in acetone (not my favorite but it saves cotton balls, aluminum foil, and my time). I pick my color during the time she removed my old color and she asked me to wash my hands with water. Did that. Then onto another removal process which went smoothly and on goes the primer(?) and nail color I chose. About 30 minutes later, I was out the door. It was the fastest color change experience I've ever had. It was great. Not only was it fast, she uses layers of polish (which I personally like) and finishes with the shiny layer (at least 2 coats). She used cuticle oil, hot towel, and olive oil lotion at the end. Perfect & quick experience. $20 total (not including tip) $5 more than the nail salon I often go to (which is also a great place but they're always so busy).

Nails were done my Brian. AMAZING!!!! My hands felt like they were in heaven. Had my nails done here for my wedding too and some nails didn't grow out correctly. He fixed those nails right up to make them look perfect for my big day. My nails looked so natural. That's what I love about him. He does everything to your liking. Recently Michelle's nails increased their prices, their lower prices was the main reason I had loyalty towards them. But they also provide fast service. I arrived at La Diva 4:20. I was greeted after the lady at the counter had a brief conversation with another person. The person who greeted me asked me what services I needed I stated 'I would like a refill'. Generally a refill with polishing and drying takes about 40 minutes if you are serviced immediately. The person who greeted me immediately said 'oh sorry I can't do that we close at 5:30 I have somewhere to be'. The sign on the front door said La Diva Nail closes at 6:30. In the end I am glad I was turned away. Once I looked up and really assessed the place it was dirty and the linoleum floor was popping up all over the place. I immediately went across the street to Michelle's nails to a cleaner and safer environment. I am on able to locate Michelle Nails on Yelp. I would like to write a review. They explained that the gel nail color last longer and doesn't chip easy. They were very helpful I also got the spa treatments for feet and hand. The lady also asked if I wanted a drawing on my big toe. I always wanted to have that done but never asked, so when she asked I of course said yes. She drew a flower on both big toes which came out great. They have massage chairs which are very relaxing when getting your feet done. My total bill was $59.00 which I didn't think was too bad. My eyebrows were free as part of the special. I had both nails and feet done, with spa treatment and the gel nails which I think are extra. I don't have my nails done often so not sure if the price was bad or not but I will be going back here. Thought they did a great job. Place is very clean also. They also had these nail dryers built into their tables which I thought were cool. Never seen them before. Also the way they do things , I didnt need to put my feet under a fan or lamp to dry because they were already dry when I was getting my nails done. Had a very nice and relaxing expierence.
