Visited on a weekday morning and really enjoyed this place! There's a good amount of street parking nearby. The atmosphere is comfortable and cozy, although there aren't a ton of seats, so might be hard to get one if it's busy. Prosciutto sandwich was really good, and a good size too. Staff was friendly and helpful as well. Overall a great experience!

Loved!!! Adorable coffee shop! The wall decor everything was a vibe. My friend and I got coffee flights which were great! Nice to try some different flavors, there were a few we weren't huge fans of though. The flights were prepared perfectly and garnished beautifully!

A beautiful find in the neighborhood. It gave a cozy quaint, feeling with plants alongside the walls nicely lit with all different types of coffee. The drinks we had got were toffee drink, and rose coffee. It was so delicious. Owners were very nice.

The coffee options are so fun. The flights (original and fall themed) were amazing and a perfect portion of each drink. We also got the avocado sandwich that was also pretty amazing. Not the best service. Not super warm / friendly and despite it being a new place, not very informative. However, the vibe and coffees were really good. Whether you're looking for a coffee date and chat or reading / focusing this is a nice place to try! Despite the service, I will be going back!

Overall a Cozy Spot with great coffee and unique options. My mom and I ordered their seasonal fall drink tray and the regular. The matcha: Pretty good quality, all the grassy, smooth notes you want in the matcha came through and it was a very comforting experience. Solid quality matcha. It tasted better than the typical culinary grade and more like ceremonial grades I've tried. The Strawberry Rose Espresso: As a big tea drinker I know a good rose drink and this hit the spot. It was a very nice blend of espresso, rose and strawberry that allowed each note of the ingredients shine through. The espresso was pretty light and didn't come through strong like a lot of other places do which surprised me. For this drink it worked well. The Ube: Fantastic vanilla, buttery warm notes and the marshmallow was a fun touch. I've had many Taro and Ube drinks/ice creams and desserts and this wasn't lacking. The other drinks I didn't particularly enjoy and they weren't memorable for me. I think their espresso isn't very strong and the darker more chocolate notes don't come through like I'm used to. I believe it was a lighter roast from what I tasted in the drinks. If you like that then you'll like the espresso. Overall a good spot with a nice selection of shots/drinks for those wanting to expand their palate.

Such a cool ambiance for a Louisville coffee shop. Good craft coffee is hard to find in a city filled with pour over obsessive hipsters; I feel this is a much needed add to Louisville coffee culture. Service was fast and kind, and got to play some of the board/card games while eating an incredible prosciutto sammy. Will be back everytime I come home.

The decor in this place is very cute and cozy. There's a good amount of indoor seating, along with shaded outdoor seating on their patio. It's always busy so be prepared to duel for a table. The Roseberry latte is my favorite but, in general, all of the drinks here are on the sweeter side. I prefer naked or half-clothed coffee drinks -- just black or with a splash of milk -- and occasionally I'll splurge on some sweetened cold foam. But this is more like dessert coffee. This was my second visit, and I just discovered that they serve food. I didn't order any since I had just eaten but the toasts looked very yummy. I'll return occasionally for a treat or to chill in the inside seating area.

She said it was super good, super refreshing and not too sweet. It was hard picking a favorite but if I were just choosing one I'd probably go back to the butterscotch. Ube latte I got was fantastic. I got it only lightly sweetened and that was perfect. It tasted like I was drinking a baked good. Dirty latte was the ube latte with expresso. We got this regular sweetened and it was a bit too sweet but great. Prosciutto toast was delicious, and a good amount of food. Avocado toast was more filling and also nice but nothing special. The bread in both were the best part. It was a sandwich so we actually took home our extra bread. Lots of good seating, great natural light and a back patio, very cute decor. I was there on a busy Saturday morning so this could be why but the tables were a bit dirty. Overall I love this place for a treat but the prices were pretty high.

The shop is so cute!! They have ice cream and food but we stuck to drinks this time. It was our first time in so we decided to go with the flight of their speciality drinks. They were all very Instagram worthy by looks and tasted great. I'm surprised to say I think the beet drink was my favorite of the flight. We tried the strawberry matcha as well and that was extra yummy, it will be my go to when we go back. They had a nice little back area as well, would be a great place to sit and read a book.

I visited Phalcha on a hot summer afternoon in Louisville. I tried the dirty Ube Latte based on the staff's recommendation. It was excellent. The flavors were unique, smooth and perfectly balanced with just the right touch of sweetness and espresso. The staff was warm and helpful which made the experience even better. The cozy ambiance adds to its charm and makes it a great spot to relax.

Went to Phalcha on a Sunday morning around 945am and it was packed! Street parking. Ordered a cortado and coffee flight. It took 35 minutes to get both because of how crowded it was. Husband really enjoyed his cortado. The flight was sweet and tasty but I wish there was more of the drink/less foam. I would need another coffee afterwards as well. Would like to return when less crowded and order a regular drink. Pastries were tasty but I should have asked to have them warmed up.

Phalcha Coffee offers a truly unique selection of drinks. I tried their Dirty Ube Latte and it was absolutely delicious! All of their specialty drinks looked intriguing and the attention to detail extends to the presentation and ambiance as well. They are a bit on the pricier side and I do wish they had more space for indoor seating but other than that if you're a coffee lover who appreciates precision and creativity, Phalcha Coffee is a must-visit. read more

Phenomenal experience. Quaint, eclectic, and comfortable. Service was quick and friendly. We sat outside and they brought our flight to us. Seating is limited but there is outdoor seating available, it's in a residential neighborhood so parking is easy but traffic is heavy. so seating out front is very car oriented. We ordered their last filled pastry. A croissant filled with custard and almonds. The star of the show was a fun iced coffee flight with unique flavors of rose and ube. Very much worth the 12 min drive from downtown Louisville. Overall picture worthy and delicious with many options for traditional to unique. read more

The drinks are wonderful, great service, a cute space with limited seating. Warm weather will open up the small outdoor patio. One thing I noticed is that there were a lot of customers on a Sunday taking up the seats for extended periods reading or surfing on their iPads. I could understand when it's not busy, wanting to linger for a while, but it's inconsiderate when there is a line out the door and people are waiting. We finally got a table, chatted for 30 min and left. I would have liked to have stayed longer. A couple next to us were each reading books. They were there when we arrived an hour before and were still there when we left. I'm not sure how they were even reading their books as it was very loud. Again...inconsiderate. What's the solution....not sure, maybe a time limit during peak hours on the weekend ? It's gotten to the point where people can't read the room.... come a different time if you want to read or surf. read more

I couldn't recommend Phalcha more. The drinks are incredible, the staff is amazing, and the shop is adorable. My only complaint is that I wish there was more seating, but this speaks more to their popularity than anything else. It is certainly worth the visit. read more

The service here is amazing! All the workers are attentive and kind. I only tried the drinks, so I can't speak for the food, but visually, all their beverages look incredibly appetizing and artistic. I had the ube matcha, and while it was beautiful, I found that the matcha flavor wasn't very strong. It mainly tasted like ube with oat milk. The strawberry matcha was also not too sweet, but again, the matcha flavor was very subtle. Since I prefer a stronger matcha profile, it wasn't my favorite. That being said, everything else is a 5/5 for me! The interior is so cute and definitely worth visiting for aesthetic pictures and a fun time chatting with friends. read more

The coffee was great! Not overly roasted like lots of places and served in big cups! The avocado sandwich had a lightly sprinkled vinaigrette on the lettuce and the honey on the side was a nice touch. It had lots of people there because of the service, the smiling customers and the happy vibes. read more

5 stars doesn't do this place justice! Coffee shops are my favorite places to seek out in Louisville, and my boyfriend and I finally got around to trying this one earlier in the week. We've already been back two more times since. We are both obsessed with the dirty ube latte, especially with oat milk! We also tried the nutty rose and butter bliss lattes, both are also amazing. For food, we've only tried the waffles but they were so unique and delicious as well. The coffee is beyond phenomenal, but the service here is the best I have ever received. The staff has remembered us every time, they are so kind and attentive, and truly make the place feel welcoming and cozy. The inside is gorgeous and decorated so nicely. I'm obsessed and will be coming back a lot more! It truly shows when people put their heart and soul into their business, and that's exactly what this place is. I can't recommend it enough! read more

My mother and I stopped in to get some coffees. I have tried quite a few places in Louisville and have to say this is as hot as its being talked about. The Ube Iced Latte is a must try. The atmosphere is calming, and a great place for pictures/studying sessions. Alongside this being a great place, the owner is the sweetest person in the world. Must visit. 10/10 read more

When I saw this place had a 4.9 rating I was expecting it was because of the astheistics but then I tried the drinks. We had a fall flight and every single one was phenomenal. I couldn't decide which I liked better. This was the most unique coffee shop I've been to but it's not just unique for the sake of being unique. It's unique and delicious. All of their drinks are meticulously hand crafted so they're not super quick but the setting is relaxing and the drink are so so worth the wait. Can't wait to come back! read more

Louisville's best new coffee shop to try! My girlfriend and I heard about this place opening a couple weeks ago and stopped in for coffee and breakfast. She ordered the iced-coffee flight which included strawberry rose, ube, matcha, and butterscotch iced lattes. All were amazing, with the ube being her favorite and the butterscotch being mine. I ordered a cortado which was equally great. For food, we both ordered the avocado toast which was uniquely dressed with and the bread was amazing. This is not a little piece of toast, so you won't be disappointed! The vibes are great with lots of plants and a perfect spot to catch up with a friend, do a little work, or read a book. The latte flights and avocado toast are a little labor intensive to make so take a few minutes to come out, but well worth the wait. I love that this is in an up-and-coming neighborhood and we can't wait to stop back in for more coffee and to try their ice cream! Go check it out! read more

Phalcha is a relatively new coffee/pastry shop in my area. I've been seeing loads of people raving about it and had to try it out. They did NOT disappoint! I only had time to grab a drink to go, but upon approaching the building I noticed it was pretty busy (Saturday late morning). The indoor tables were full and the few outdoor were as well. The ambiance was very cute and modern. I was greeted at the counter with a smile and promptly served the most colorful coffee I've ever had, lol. I ordered the Ube Latte with Oat Milk and it was delicious!! Highly recommend. I got mine without espresso but there's different options when ordering as well as other yummy sounding drinks I can't wait to try like one with strawberry and Nutella Will be back soon. read more

There are cool things in every corner, and even though I had intended on getting my coffee to go, I decided to sit for a while because coffee sometimes just tastes better when you're surrounded by cobwebs and broomsticks. If you enjoy spooky or Halloween-style vibes, you'll probably love it here. They also offer free Wi-Fi, so it could be a good spot for studying or getting some work done. Personally, I found the ambiance a bit too spooky for focusing, especially at night. I am just not a big fan of that kind of setting (haha). Being that the drink was to go, I didn't have the option of judging it by appearance. It smelled nice, though. As we left and I took a sip, however, something was missing. It was creamy and chocolatey but I tasted no peppermint. Like, none. Which is an issue for a peppermint pattie drink. My palate is fairly discerning. And peppermint is a fairly distinct flavor. I took another sip. Nope. Again, creamy, chocolatey and coffee...y, but no peppermint. Being that we were out the door and down the street (and the place was packed), I didn't return to address it but it was a minor let down. That said, I happily drank the coffee. My go-to are their Ube latte and the dirty ube espresso. If you're all about that Ube life, go for the classic, but if you want a little kick, the dirty version with espresso is where it's at. Now, finding a seat can be a mission since it's always busy, but if you snag one, do yourself a favor and try the coffee flights. Just moved to the neighborhood and we absolutely love this place! The vibe is 1000% chill and unique. The service is outstanding, and fast and the Baristas are extremely friendly and kind.
