In January 2026, my 8-month-old BMW X1 (5,500 km) showed multiple "battery low" warnings. PFAFF BMW claimed the battery was not covered under warranty and charged me $225 for diagnostics, attributing the issue to "lack of driving". However, BMW app data shows 62 trips totaling 593 km in that month alone, clearly normal usage. This indicates a defect, not neglect or wear-and-tear. PFAFF BMW refused warranty replacement and quoted $840 for a replacement. I then took the vehicle to another BMW dealership. After reviewing the same data, they replaced the battery under warranty at no cost, suggesting that the failure was not due to misuse. Even when he was away, he was still keeping me updated and working in my best interest. I was very grateful for his care and his attention to detail. My girlfriend bought a 2016 BMW 328i Wagon from Pfaff BMW my girlfriend's first BMW. Upon driving it home on June 28th (delivery date), I immediately noticed a loud bushing noise. I brought it back within 30 days, but instead of fixing it, they sprayed it with silicone to hide the sound and claimed multiple techs, including a master tech, couldn't find anything. A simple cut and polish I requested was also not done properly, despite being told it would be. It took them a long time to respond (basically the 30 days). Everybody has a craze for premier cars. After trying out cars of the same level at Audi and Mercedes, I wanted to check on the BMW as well. B M W is a ReaL LuXurY deal indeed. After visiting few other BMW dealership, wanted to try out PFAFF too. Unlike some of the reviews about this dealership, my experience was totally positive. This review is only about Sales experience and not Service. They had walk-ins allowed for test drive so Initially when I landed at location I felt a little clueless on who to talk to since everybody seemed to be occupied totally. The inside of the dealership was neat as expected from any luxury brand dealership. After 10 minutes, I was told that they are working on getting someone to talk to. Haitham Al-Safi is the sales person I worked with and I definitely recommend him at this location if you are planning to take a BMW. As soon as we talked Haitham got me the keys for the X3 and 330i and asked me to take off with it. He also offered to bring the exact trim of the vehicle I wanted even for a test drive. I liked that gesture for sure. One of the major reasons why I took the deal was the fact that he was not too pushy and the follow-up was not beyond a disturbing level. Haitham was able to get a better appraisal on my vehicle's trade-in value when compared to the other dealership. On the date of delivery however I was a little surprised that the usual Red bow on the new vehicle was missing. Looks like it was not a practice followed at PFAFF. I just want to tell the management of the dealership that a BMW is just another car for them since they are dealing with it day in and out but it is a LEAP and probably a dream for many to own one. Its a nice thing to present the vehicle all dressed up to the customers on delivery. There was a little confusion with regard to the "new vehicle depreciation waiver" between my insurance policy against what BMW finance services were providing. I had a very tough time understanding the terms so I had to make a bunch of calls to confirm that I was covered or else my premium may have increased a little. To summarize, If you are looking to lease/own a BMW, PFAFF is certainly one of the best options in the GTA. Probably the lowest price in the Toronto area. read more

Called ahead in the first week in January 2020 to arrange a test drive of a 2020 330i and a m340i. After a negative encounter with a receptionist over the phone, I was given a call back by Zaheer, a salesperson who apologized. I went in the same day and test drove both cars. I bought the m340i. Zaheer was a great salesperson. No pressure, humorous, and easy going. I had done my home work on both cars, and knew what I was looking for. I traded in my old (but still good) 2006 330i, signed the papers and took delivery of the car I wanted a few days later. Zaheer sold my old car to.a family I had recommended (I had to find her a good home) the following week. He texted me a couple of times afterwards to make sure I was enjoying the car. I appreciated that. I have dealt with other BMW dealers over the years, but the personalized attention at Pfaff by Zaheer is what I care about. Went for an oil change and they dropped something on the front bumper of the car during the service and scuffed it. Took over 2.5 hours to do the oil change (even though there was no other car for service at that time) and neither admitted their mistake, nor fixed the damage. Very disappointing. Later I found out they had changed the rear M-sport calipers and pads with regular calipers and pads (which were painted blue). Called and asked if they have cameras to see what employees are doing when working on cars and they have none. Any good service reviews you are seeing are NOT true. Learn from my review or try this worst BMW location to get burnt yourself. read more

Been with BMW for almost a decade and this is the worst location. Customer service has gone gravely downhill and just keeps getting worse. Seems like they stopped training and managing for service that should be a cut above. Get better service at Land Rover now for another car. Still shocked and disappointed to see over the last few years it's not been isolated incidents. You'll likely get what you pay for at another location or, hate to say it, another make. Appreciate my cars thought I don't drive very much, and loved the experience with BMW at several other locations, but since moving near Pfaff, I think I'm ready to move on and go where I'm dealt with a little more respect and provided proper service. My mechanic dropped of the vehicle 1 week before the long weekend back to school. Sept 26 with no appointment. They had only one tech advised me they can't look to do electrical diagnostics and my warranty work. Advise my wife has no car back school but didn't matter. All I can say is my car got back from that dealership and wow. They left wired sticking out, they removed middle gear shift cracking both sides and u can see there flat head trying to open. Make matters worst punch a whole back seat to open chair for air bag warranty. Dealing with roberto very pleasant to talk to. If I wanted a butchers job I'd let my 3 year old scratch and damage inside. Waiting resolution they better fix and I'll see how they deal with this to change my review. I still can't believe a professional dealership did this. I have no faith or trust and now worried as they said nothing wrong with my car. I don't even no they did the proper check as this is an on going problem. Very disappointed and angry see my car look like shit. Shame on u. read more

Won't ever come back again. The worst customer service and salespeople in a BMW dealership I have ever seen. Came here to buy a BMW convertible and they only had one convertible on the lot. This was during the summer. The employees and receptionist left me standing there for 30 minutes before anyone came to approach us. The saleswoman was awful. Just awful. She seemed like she didn't even want to work there. The saleswoman said she would call me back when she finds my car. Fast forward 3 months later, no calls or emails from this BMW dealership's sales woman. I have no idea why this place is so disorganized! I never imagined that a BMW DEALERSHIP would treat customers this poorly. I was there to buy a car in the mid $50,000 range. I had no idea why I was treated that way. What I do know is that the sales people get much higher commission for pushing new lease contracts. I don't think you should be working in a dealership if you don't like your job and you're really bad at finding the customer a car. What's even worse is that the saleswoman wouldn't let me test drive the car because it was not the one I was gonna buy on that day. The only convertible they had on lot was an orange coloured convertible. Brace yourselves, the saleswoman tried to convince me that orange convertibles is a everyday car colour. My parents came here interested in purchasing either an X5 or X6 and our entire visit there, no one approached us asking if we wanted beverages or if we needed any help. Usually, I'm not about annoying salespeople but it was even more annoying that no one made the effort to assist us in a potential purchase. As always with car purchasing, we did visit a Mercedes, Volvo and Porsche dealership as well, and the experience was the complete opposite that we encountered here. Quite appalling that in such a competitive industry, that no one here seems to care about sales to potential buyers. None of the salespeople seemed interested in doing business so subsequently we left and ended up purchasing a different car elsewhere. Update: Ended up purchasing a 2017 Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid and not only was the sale service phenomenal, the after-sales services are excpetional as well. We had such a great experience with our purchase from PAFF BMW Pre-Owned department. We had the pleasure of dealing with Dylan who was always professional, attentive and easy to deal with since our first interaction. Some of the ways Dylan really impressed us was how he went out of his way to make sure that the car was ready for us to test drive as soon as we got to the dealership. Also, his post delivery service/follow up in making sure that we were happy and made himself available to answer any questions. Terrible service, I asked them for drop off shuttle service while my car is being serviced, she told me to sit in reception area and after 1 hr when I went back to her, she told me I was suppose to sign some register. Worst experience when I was leasing my vehicle. Turned into a big argument and the sales agent walked off and I even walked off. If it weren't for the fact that this dealership had the last vehicle in the year, colour, trim and engine type, I would have walked away for good. I escalated to the sales manager and the deal went through as previously agreed. Thought the bad experience was just with the sales agent but the first time I had an issue with the vehicle, the service department totally ignored the issue. Called the service department back three times and the person I spoke with assured me that the service manager would get my information and that he was emailed my info and that he would get back to me. It's a month now and not even one call back. I deal with Maria Karabas at the Toronto dealership now and she was always the best. Dealt with her years ago when BMW had an Etobicoke location and after it closed I found her downtown. Worth the drive to get her level of dedication and customer service. read more

its a shame that a prominent bmw dealership would have such low after purchase service with cars not purchased from their dealership. I recently had an engine failure with a 2year old 435ix manual 6spd. It was towed overnight to pfaff due to proximity of the engine failure. i had never been to this location but was initially relieved because I always thought it was a reputable name. Pfaff BMW does not like to provide warranty service. BUYERS BEWARE!!!! of this dealership. If you have an aftermarket air intake on your bmw they will not service your car under warranty and also send pictures to their head office to black list your car. BUYERS BEWARE of this location!!! air intake is one of the most basic upgrades that will not affect your engines durability. Considering how prominent air intakes are on BMW cars I'm shocked that this dealership would make such a big deal about such a small issue. This tells me only 1 thing. They do not care about the customer. They only care about the initial sales and making money on non warranty services. Go to Budds in Oakville. This is by far the best dealership for all your initial purchases and after service needs. They provide full Dinan installs as an authorized dealer. best waiting rooms as well. read more

Came in with my kids to look for an SUV because our lease is almost ended. I asked the salesman, he coldly said he was busy and didn't offer to ask another one to help. I knocked on the door of another sales, he came out and ask first question "what's your budget". I asked him "does it really matter?" He then asked me "what car are you driving?". I told him "Toyota Siena" - in fact, I drove a Lexus RX350. He then referred to X3 because its for my budget. Until now, he didn't ask what I like or look for. I then gave him a business card and said I change my car every 3 years and my lease come up in a month with Lexus, and I was looking for X5 M series fully loaded. Terrible Service! Do not buy your car at any of their locations. I love BMW cars so I am torn. I dont know where to go. BMW Toronto is a corporate store and they were quite good but a bit far for me to go for service. Service dept doesnt answer their phones. Their service is a joke. They make excuses why my car that is under warranty is not eligible for the included oil changes even when the oil light is on. They said according to thier computers that it was not due yet. They said it just needed a "top up" and if I went to the parts counter and paid for the oil they would top it up for free? Ya right after I pay for the oil. I dont know how companies expect to get customers with terrible after sales service. The serivce sucks since the guy Ian is gone. He always took care of things and he was the only person who answered the phone. I spoke to Nelly that takes care of customer service she was nice and seemed to care always followed up after an oil change. She was very apologetic and said she was going to try to help me and get a manager to call me back. She even asked me what was a good time to call me. Guess what still waiting for that call. I guess the managers cant be bothered. I dont know how one of the most prestigious brands has a bunch if idiots running their dealerships. My car is just out of warranty and either needs service soon or hopefully trade it in... why wouldn't you make sure a customet like me is happy so I buy more cars from you?
