It wasn't fresh and tasted like leftovers. I would rather go to a wing place for fresh fried chicken. The pad kee mao with shrimp had a spicy kick, I give it an 8 for spiciness but lack flavors. I wouldn't try this place again.

Although there wasn't anyone dining in they were constantly cooking in the back as there were pick ups and delivery folks constantly coming in and out. Got the food home. The fried rice was good. The first bite of pad Thai had a strong hit of fish sauce so I squeezed the lime all over it and it took it down a few notches. It was really good after that. So far the best Thai place I've found in the Kaiserslautern area.

The service is pretty quick but my last visit the waitress didn't care to ask me how spicy I wanted my pad Thai and ended up with 0 spice. Partially my fault as I could also remind her but it is usually asked. Ambiance is casual and they take cash or card!

My cousin said she's wanted to try a Thai restaurant in town that she hadn't been. For tired travelers Thai food would hit the spot. This was my first time experiencing how Europeans dine where the Restauranteurs prolonging your visit. We went in about 7pm and didn't leave until 9:45 or so. They didn't want us to leave! Every patron was there at least 3 hours eating slowly and enjoying each other's company. No cell phones in sight...except for our table. We used our cell phones at our table to take pictures. No one seemed to mind us. Having your table all night is a very nice concept if you live there, but we wanted to eat and go back to my cousin's house due to jet lag. We all started off with Tom Kha soup with prawns. Excellent. My mom and my cousin had never had it and I explained the easy, but flavorful ingredients to them. They kept comparing it to a Filipino soup called ginataan, however ginataan doesn't have the same sour flavor and balance as this coconut soup has. I make this myself at home. My mom being the ultimate cook of my life, I was in shock that I cooked something that she didn't know how to make! We all ordered curry. My cousin and I had Panang curry and my mom ordered yellow curry. I got crispy duck in my curry and my mom and cousin got prawns. The food was as delicious as I expected it would The service was extremely slow. It took forever to get our food and forever to get the check. I can't knock a star off for this, however because it's meant to be this way. In the US we dine and they try to get us about of there as fast as they can to get a new table in your party. It's better for US servers because they only make 1 tip per table. In Germany they don't require any tip and my cousin told me that Germans in that area don't eat out often and when they do it's an experience that they savor. I get it. I really do. We asked for the check and probably got it over a half hour later. We were more than satisfied with our large meals that we also ate for breakfast the next day! I'm not sure if this is the only Thai restaurant in town, but it's a good one. I've had better Thai food in The States, but if I lived here I'd definitely be a regular.

They are all about presentation which means you literally pay the price for the plating (very expensive, especially for Thai food!). It is connected to a hotel and was actually very quiet when we were dining in during lunch. It remained that way throughout our meal. Interior is pleasantly clean and bright! Chicken Satay - Chicken was cooked nicely. The meat was tender and juicy, although also a little bit oily. The peanut sauce was only okay. The small side of the Thai cucumber salad was definitely flavorless. Their vinegar dressing needed more sugar. Pad Thai - Good but not great. It does have that Pad Thai sauce taste (sweeter side), but didn't have any of the extra special *umph* when it came to the salty and spicy factor. Beef was overcooked and chewy. Curry Ma-sa-man - Liquidy. But I don't say it like a good or bad thing because this is preference (I like mine to have a bit more body and texture). Everything was cooked very well. I especially really like the potatoes and the peanut additions. The flavors were all there. Not a bad order. Would recommend this. It came with a generous portion of white rice as well. Overall, mediocre Thai food. I bounced back and forth between the 3 or 4 star rating. The whole experience overall was pleasant. We weren't impressed nor did they disappoint us. The service was friendly. The food took some time to arrive although we were the only guests, but that didn't bother me much. They may have a lot of things on the menu, but none really stood out to me. For instance, they have many different curry, but some are very plain. I even asked our server what was in the panang curry that you can actually eat besides the protein you select. She hesitated and answered "lime leaf". For those of you who cook with lime leaves or have accidentally eaten them before would know YOU DON'T EAT THEM. So I brushed that off. Ultimately, I'm afraid the quality just didn't quite justify their prices.

You will definitely notice the price inflation on the dishes here. They also pride themselves on food presentation if you are after Instagram worthy photos. With that said, the food is good but not any better than Alom Dee or Thai Thai Orchidee. It's already expensive enough to dine out in Germany why pay more for the same quality food? I would recommend this restaurant if you want a date night experience to impress your date.
