Do they taste better because I picked them myself? I don't know! Yes? Regardless, they are delicious. The staff here is always so friendly and they are so welcoming to large groups. This is a great place to run the kids around and there are plenty of activities you can do for free or a small cost, like animal feeding, rides etc. My son loves all the playgrounds! Definitely recommend Underwood if you are looking for a party venue! The kids love it and it's a beautiful space!

Pick an open spot and park right there. Environment: After paying for admission, we got to explore the animal portion of the area. There were many different animals to see and you can also purchase food to feed them. There are also swings and slides in this area. Some areas will require extra tickets that you can purchase separately. We had a quick look around and then headed on over to the tractor-drawn wagon ride which took us over to the strawberry fields. It's a pick yourself experience and there are boxes and bags that you can grab to fill up (the best thing is that you can sample them while you pick). There are also various vegetables that you can pick as well. We wanted to check out some of the bok choy, but they were not available, boo. Once you're done, head back to the front Farm Market near the entrance and pay for your items. I will say that their strawberries are juicy and sweet! What was ordered: - Admission (Weekday: $8.00, Weekend & Holiday: $12.00) - Pick your own strawberries ($3.50/lb) Yay/Nay/Meh: Yay. This was a fun experience. We got to see some of the various farm animals and then we got to pick our strawberries. A fun experience with some yummy strawberries to sample and take home. Credit cards are accepted.

Conejo Family Farm's Pumpkin Patch is the perfect spot to soak up all the fall vibes!…read more If you're looking for a relaxed, low-key day, weekdays are the way to go. But if you're in the mood for a lively atmosphere, weekends are buzzing with pop-up coffee stands, local beer stalls, and tons of happy families. I even heard they had over 5,000 guests in a single day last weekend -- such an incredible turnout for this Camarillo patch! Entry is $10 a person unless you're under the age of 5, then it's free. Once you step inside the grounds, the fun doesn't stop. From picking pumpkins (I snagged the cutest little white ones) to exploring the tall corn maze and strolling through the sunflower fields, there's something for everyone. At just $1 a stem, you can build your own sunflower bouquet, which makes this experience extra special. The kids will love the mini maze and bouncy houses, while adults can enjoy the festive energy and beer. Honestly, I had the best time and totally recommend adding it to your fall bucket list. Make sure to keep an eye on their Instagram or website as that's where you can find updating postings of specialized events and pop up. Reminder: the weekends are when they have the animal petting zoo, coffee stalls and beer garden. The weekdays appear to be more lowkey and don't have all of these options - but if you watch their website, they do have mid week events like yoga in the pumpkin patch etc.

Every animal is clearly treasured and comes with its own story. They're incredibly friendly and so comfortable around people, which made the experience easy and truly enjoyable. We even had the chance to step into the pen with the goats, llamas, and potbelly pigs, and also saw a variety of chickens, ducks, and farm dogs. The tour lasts about an hour--just the right amount of time. Tina even joked about our group all wearing white tennis shoes...on a farm?! Happy to report back that the pens are so well maintained that we left with completely clean shoes! Thank you for a great experience!

The animals were all clearly well cared for and loved, and interacting with them and learning about their personalities and quirks was wonderful. It was definitely a hands-on experience as the animals were very friendly, social and enjoyed taking treats. Tina was a lovely hostess and seemed to truly take pleasure in introducing her animal family to others. The goat milk soaps and lotions were super too. A perfect outing for our girls' weekend.

They offer a complimentary olive oil tasting, allowing you to truly appreciate the depth and character of each variety. The fresh bread served alongside the tasting is crafted from scratch in nearby Los Alamos at Bob's Well Bread Bakery, and it is delicious. A few of my personal favorites were the Santa Ynez, Garlic, and Habanero olive oils. The Garlic was so outstanding that I immediately purchased a bottle to take home. It is incredibly versatile. The setting itself is just as memorable as the tasting. There is ample charming outdoor seating beside a small creek, and the gentle sound of flowing water creates a peaceful, almost meditative atmosphere. The vibes are truly immaculate. Inside, the shop is beautifully styled and filled with thoughtfully selected gifts and, of course, an impressive array of olive oils available for purchase. Hayley (sorry if it's spelled wrong) was especially warm and helpful, making the visit feel welcoming. They also offer WiFi, which allowed us to linger a bit longer and get some work done. It is rare to find a place that combines quality, hospitality, and atmosphere so seamlessly.

The Big Red Barn has a lot of fresh fruit, baked goods, and other treats to choose from. The real fun is when you pick the fruit yourself though. We got ourselves some sweet blackberries to take home. Out on the farm, we had the best tractor ride and learned some fun facts about fruits, as well as slid on the huge slide and played some outdoor games. While we were here, we ate some oakie pies. My favorite is thanksgiving dinner. It tastes just like November-- Turkey, stuffing, potatoes, and gravy. They have other tasty savory pies like the chicken pot pie, blueberry pulled pork, and the breakfast pie. Of course, you could get some sweet ones too! The service is very friendly and the farm truly has fun for everyone! I can't wait to come back for stone fruit season.

If you decided to pick fruit you pay by the pound at the end which is reasonable but the fee per person just to walk around seemed on the high end. They have goats, chickens, peacocks, a variety of birds, chickens and roosters and cool art displays. We saw signs for paintballing and hayrides though I didn't see any wagons operating. The main reason we stopped was to try the Okie Pies. I had never heard of them and I am always looking to try new things. They remind me of a large empanada or handheld meat pie. We tried 3 savory and 1 dessert Okie Pie. They were out of blueberry so we settled for Apple and it was good but super sweet. I love desserts and unless you're a diehard apple pie fan you may find this to be too sweet. Savory flavors were salsa verde, chicken pot pie, and blueberry BBQ pork. The blueberry BBQ sounds odd but it was everyone's favorite. Everyone was very friendly and there was even someone who let the kids pet the goats and roosters. We'll stop on the way back home for more blueberry BBQ Okie Pies.
