I sat in a big soft chair and was very comfortable! They also have two clean bathrooms, i changed in there after hiking. There weren't enough hanging pegs but they were spacious so still good enough. The staff up front were quick and helpful! No trouble there. And there were a decent number of parking spots out back - that said, by the time I left, the lot was completely full. Not sure where else you could park in the area. Overall, if passing and needing a rest I would rec this spot! But I would try ordering something else besides a London fog ;)

It's peaceful, inviting, and a wonderful place to study, catch up with friends, work remotely, or simply unwind with a great cup of coffee. The coffee is outstanding. Mahalo roasts their own beans, and you can absolutely taste the difference. Every cup is smooth, rich, and full of flavor. My favorite is the decaf, which has delicious notes of cocoa and toasted marshmallow, but I've enjoyed several of their regular coffees too. They also offer great milk options, including Califia Farms almond and oat milk, along with traditional milk, cream, and other alternatives. The drive-thru is quick and convenient, making it easy to grab a coffee on the go, but I highly recommend spending a little time inside because the space is so inviting. Their merchandise is also adorable! The shirts, hats, mugs, and bags of freshly roasted coffee make it hard to leave without taking something home. If you're anywhere near Knoxville and looking for an incredible local coffee shop, Mahalo Coffee is absolutely worth the stop. This is AMMMAAAZZZIINNNGGG. It's super smooth, has great flavor, and double the caffeine! I am a wimp so I had him make a special concoction with milk and caramel syrup to cut down on the amount of coffee some, and it is such a treat! I tried it black too on the first time we visited, which was very daring for me, and I even loved it black, so that's saying a lot! I've also gotten their caramel apple cider, which was absolutely phenomenal! It blows Whole Foods and Starbucks caramel apple ciders outta the water! It smells like a spicy tea and tastes like the perfect fall day. The shop itself is super cute. Checkered floors, detailed branding with Sokno etched on one of the fridges and some nicely screen printed t-shirts, and the fridges leftover from when the space used to be a gas station are filled with locally made goods. I was searching for baked goods that opened early, around 7am, and this was my best bet. I drove 30 minutes to get here and was completely disappointed. They did not have baked goods. I didn't want to waste the drive so I ordered ice cream. They didn't have much options and I really wanted the pumpkin ice cream from the yelp pictures. When they told me they didn't have it because it wasn't in season, they saw my face sink even further. But they had a stash in the back! I asked for a sample and I saw the level of difficulty since it was frozen storage. It was worse when they thought I wanted to the whole pint and only asked for a scoop. Which I regret! This was such great pumpkin ice cream! There were chunks of pumpkin and ginger and it was so good! It didn't taste like clumps of sugar balls and even though it was from the frozen storage, I wish I bought the pint. But having ice cream for breakfast and a birthday cake for lunch was kind of fatty. I highly recommend coming here for the pumpkin ice cream if you like pumpkin. I will definitely come back to try their fresh ice cream.
