Not once have I been in this shop and didn't wait at least ten minutes to be served. Not once. Today, I counted at one point 8 people working behind the counter. One was ringing up a big order, one was doing an exchange on an item that was talking WAY longer than it should have. And the last. Well, instead of the staff helping me. Two of them decided to go to the back of the shop. There was no reason for the delay other than incompetence. Why?
Now let's talk about their stock. Not only do they rarely have the cat food that I need, they can't just order me some. Apparently, they wait for whatever comes in from week to week. So convenient. I often have to buy a substitute.
Today I came in to buy some things for my cat. She's dying. I'm bringing her home from the vet in two days and because she has always been an outdoor/indoor cat, I needed to buy a little tray and accessories. First, they didn't have the right litter tray. Fine. This wasn't a surprise. But I waited SO long to be served. And at the end of it. Nothing. No, "sorry about the wait". Just a curt, no eye contact, "that'll be 30.19." Never mind sensitivity training. Never mind customer service training. I'd settle for some basic manners.
So many staff. So little service. Almost no knowledge or expertise. This is the only pet store in my area. Otherwise, I would not shop here. read more
