We were looking for the perfect dog and Dogs In Distress found him for us. We had a long conversation with one of the volunteers who quickly understood our needs. Having fostered as they do, it's a way of being able to give accurate feedback on the dog and its behaviours. We were able to meet him and see him in a home environment and had a good chat with his wonderful practical Foster Mother. We were worried about our cat, we wanted to be sure the dog would tolerate her, and they facilitated a trial day. Everything worked out well, they are now good friends!!
The whole process went along seamlessly and has had a very happy ending. We are delighted with the new member of our family. Thank you to everyone involved. Mary. read more
