    They bruised my 9 pound dog she's had a bruise on her shoulder for over a week! Then charged 40 dollars extra to shave her .

    Per the recommendation of our dog trainer, we brought our very skiddish and "cautious" 1 year old…read morerescue puppy to Gwen to get her nails trimmed (which she absolutely hates) and a full on grooming service. Mind you, she's a pure bred German Shorthaired Pointer with lots of personality! Somehow, Gwen was able to do both services! She took about 30-40 mins to hang out with Charlie and us to help our pup assimilate, assess the situation, play with her, and then we left and she went to work. The plan was that Gwen would do what she could, one nail at a time, without overwhelming Charlie. Wow. We weren't sure if Charlie would let Gwen do anything - she's reactive and has "stranger danger." Gwen clearly knows a ton about dogs, is skillful, fun, gentle, and the animal senses that. She let Gwen do "the works!" When we got back, Charlie was so excited she had zoomies and was taking treats from Gwen! A good sign! She is our go-to nail trimming magician from here on out! Next, we will bring our two 13.5 year old Maine Coons for a luxury experience and get their Lion's cut 11/10!!!!

Their website includes a cancellation policy that says low stress, one dog at a time. I visited in advance of booking to check the place out. I was assured that no other dogs would be in the room with my very excitable dog. When I arrived for the appointment it turns out he was going to be groomed on a table right next to another dog. And that table was strewn with lots of different items, it would have needed to be cleared off before they could put my guy there. Not sure what the plan was. So we agreed I would reschedule. Then I found they had charged $114 on my credit card. When I finally had service there today I'd assumed the charge would be applied to this service. I was told no, but after a little push back they relented. However, they charged an additional $90 for a second rinse - just a rinse, no dry, to remove the clippings that make my dog itch. Nearly as much as the full service. And I am concerned about cleanliness. when we arrived the floor and grooming table were covered with piles of hair from other dogs. gthere was even fur out in the hallway. Gwen swept it up, but only after I mentioned it. Likely the clippers and tools were not disinfected after the last dog, and she uses a shared lick mat, not cleaned between dogs. These are red flags in regard to disease. I wish them luck in growing a successful business, but I won't be going back.

    Do yourself (and your dogs) a favor and go elsewhere…read more I had a very disappointing and upsetting experience with this groomer and would strongly advise others to look elsewhere. I don't even know where to begin to explain my horrible experience. No vaccination records required: I was never asked to provide proof of vaccinations, which is a major red flag for any responsible pet business. This puts all dogs at risk. Terrible grooming quality: One of my dogs came home with a large bald patch on his chest, it turns out they forgot to attach the blade head to the clippers. The other dog's face was so uneven I had to trim it myself with scissors after getting home. I was honestly embarrassed to take them out in public. Mishandled payment: At checkout, they ran my card incorrectly. I received a message two days later saying it hadn't gone through. I didn't respond right away because I was across the country attending a memorial service for my mother. When I called back to explain and resolve the issue, I was told by Cheri "that's not my problem" and that I should have called right after the service. Completely heartless and unprofessional. Threatened with police: When I asked for a simple written invoice so I could send payment by check (and avoid further phone contact due to the rudeness), I was told they wouldn't send one because that's not something they do. Then I was threatened with police involvement if I didn't pay immediately! who does that?? Over a payment I never refused to make and told them multiple times I would be happy to do so once I was provided an invoice or receipt. Price: I was charged $90 more than any grooming I have ever received before for my two dog. Cheri was unwilling to provide reason or explanation. This business showed no care for my dogs, no professionalism, and no basic courtesy. There are plenty of groomers out there who know how to treat both pets and people with respect -- this is not one of them.

Our dogs are double coated and can present a real grooming challenge. Sherri and her staff are always up to the task. The dogs look great at a very reasonable price. We particularly appreciate the special care and attention they receive in order to make the experience easier and more comfortable for everyone.
