Adter a month of a scheduled grooming appointment for my cats with petsmart groomer ... the girl refused to bathe my cat because she literally hissed ONCE! the groomer appeared to be frightened ( maybe a previous bad experience) but the cat easily allowed her to cut her nails as did her sister who never hissed. The groomer also lied and said she growled.... I was standing right there the cat did not growl. Worse is the grooming area was filthy and she literally placed my cat on a table full of left over dog clippings nails and hair! They want our rabies verification ...I'd like to see the health dept record! So long story short absolutely don't recommend for cats but honestly there's no way I would take dogs here either! They seem very inexperienced and again cleanliness is an issue! read more

I have to admit I am partial to here now. We visited Petsmart on our date night after we went to the frozen custard stand and we went in to look at prices on items as we had already been planning to adopt a cat or kitten for quite some time. We found our baby there and didn't plan on that. We weren't aware that they did adoption there for cats. The price is 75 dollars but they were nice and gave us a pretty big booklet w adoption info for our cat but also a ton of coupons for free cat food and discounts on beds etc. They have a great selection of items for many animals like fish hamsters and birds etc as well as dogs and cats. They have reasonable prices here as well. BTW even if you adopt elsewhere you can get the adoption coupon booklet provided you show them the adoption papers. All in all an awesome experience. read more

This store never has employees that are friendly or willing to help. We ordered a turtle tank pump online and went to the store to get it FOUR HOURS LATER. That's two hours more than what they recommend online. They had no record of our order and were very rude even though we gave them the order receipt and order number. Manager was no help and order was never found in their system. read more

Do not get your grooming done at this location. Samantha did a terrible job on our dogs haircut, left him with patches of hair all over his body. He was not only shaved naked all over his body, he was traumatized as well. We could sense how uncomfortable he was and just how unhappy he was. She treated him horribly, and was just as rude to us as she was him. I understand he is a difficult breed to cut but if she was unsure she should've told us. She cut his tail completely when we asked for a trim and didn't even touch his head or face and the chest and tummy area. We have went to Cambria at this location before and she was great, he looked good, he was happy and she said he was great. On our report card she said he was great, no issues but apparently that was a lie. When she called to let us know he was done she was rude and short with us. I understand he may have been "difficult" to cut since this is his second haircut ever but the attitude towards us and our dog was not okay. We filed a complaint with corporate and got a return call from candy. Well low and behold candy takes the groomers sides. She didn't even allow me to fully explain my complaint without piping in to tell me how horrible my dog was. When I asked why the report card said he did good, she had no answer on why Samantha lied to me. Candy had no concern for my complaint and just wanted to stand up for her groomers. DO NOT go here for your dogs grooming and if you have to DO NOT pick Samantha or you'll regret it. read more

Took my puppy in for a puppy cut and nail grind. His appointment was at 2:30pm and he was ready for pickup at 4:30pm. As I dropped him off the staff was unfriendly - not a reassuring feeling when leaving your puppy in their care. When i went to pick him up he was unrecognizable. I was told that they would do a light trim around the face and legs - but they shaved his face and legs all the way down. His cut was not only too short but uneven. She missed large parts of his body where there are long chunks of hair, especially around his ears. Although he was at the salon for two hours, it looks as though she rushed through his cut, as he quite literally had a hack job. My pup also seemed traumatized after leaving the salon. I am not sure what went down there but I wouldn't trust the salon with my puppy again! I definitely would not recommend this groomers salon to anyone. read more

Did a great job on my Max today. Friendly and reasonable price. I asked for certain cut and she did just what I wanted.

I have bought fish from here many times, and this most recent time all of them died within 2 days of getting home. They won't give you a refund for the fish without carrying the body and a receipt in with you, and when you live over an hour away you're not going to want to carry a dead fish with you. I do not recommend this location. I have had better luck with the petsmart in waxahachie than I have with this one. read more

Me and my family went to go look at the kitties to adopt and waited for 30 minutes to get someone to even open the door.(keep in mind we asked 4 people to help during this time) When someone finally did come he was very put out when when we were unsure if we were going to take one home. Was not friendly when talking to him and was not helpful or welcoming at all. Very rude, unhelpful and disappointed with the service. Overall the experience was uncomfortable. Took our poodle mix in for cut and nail trim. The haircut was terrible and they said they couldn't trim her nails because she tried to bite. But they tried to charge for nail grind. I paid for hair cut, which was bad, but refused to pay for nails. Went to another individual groomer who trimmed her up at no charge and cut and filed her nails. I have used their services before with no major issues but yesterday they kept my dog for almost 5 hours and when i came and picked him up he was not at all done and I was told it was because the dog wouldn't cooperate. I was told i had to pay the full amount ($83) and that i would need to come back again to get him fixed. He is a 15lb malti-poo so I seriously have a hard time believing there was no way he couldn't be finished in 5 hours due to his "attitude". After 5 hours and $83 my poor dog looks TERRIBLE. We Brought our two wired haired Dachshund Puppies in for their first "official grooming" and the staff was awesome, helping out two little nervous babies settle in. Both were pretty shaggy but when complete they were groom exquisitely and looks Sooo much better. Each pup had a separate groomer (Katy and Nickie) treated them with respect, kindness and appeared to make a new friend!All requests for product and details were completed as requested with a thorough review when we picked them up. I'm very happy with their grooming services at this location, and our two dogs will definitely be back. (PS: in the past we had a Cocker Spaniel for about 13 years and a long haired chinchilla Persian that were also groomed perfectly at this location.) read more

The pricing for their grooming services are very fair for the quality and attention to detail they provide. The store is always very clean and well stocked. Grooming Dept: not a friendly face to be seen! The woman who helped us seemed miserable, never smiled once. Took my dog in there for just a bath, didn't need nails or teeth done, JUST A BATH. Also my wife & I stated/requested HYPOALLERGENIC shampoo. We mentioned this FOUR times -NO LIE! When we picked him up the girl was nice a enough, but apologized for not cutting his nails b/c they were too short. ???!!!! We asked is she used the hypoallergenic shampoo, she told us she wasn't told to do so. ???!!! Don't these people communicate with each other?! So now we have to give him another bath or else he'll probably be itchy. This place runs out of stock so much. It's replaced so slow. Long lines form too easily here... There truly should be 2-3 cashiers available. I could definitely do without the low-key nagging tone that I'm always there. I'm just minding my business and paying for my things plus being kind. So unnecessary. For most part, service is okay. The ladies there have been pleasant. I do not take my dog to grooming anymore. I wrote a review about it and the mgr contacted me. I was pleased with the reasonable, real and prompt response. They cut my dog's hair way too short in the face. My dad had to ask multiple times to get them to stop and when they wouldn't stop he had to get a more mean tone in his voice to get them to understand he wanted them to stop. So Veronica threw her scissors down and didn't put a bow or bandana or anything on my dog. Veronica had an attitude from the minute I dropped my dog off though. 03/01/2018 i had an appointment at 3:00pm. i took my dog toy in for a cut and refused to provide my toy poodle with services for a 10lb puppy ? they said they cant do it ?. dont leave your dog with scary unprofessionals.they say they train their groomers.but cant. handle a ten pound dog.??????? unprofessional...as a veteran not being serviced like other americans that have money and power ? they didn't even try . dog was in their hands for less then 15 ft.. soft americans once again want something for nothing. soft americans at pet smart. the manager was a waist, dog still was not cut. not to smart 4 me. The WORST haircut my dog has ever had. Veronica took my dog and chopped his hair up. She was incredibly rude to me when I dropped him off, not asking what I wanted, but telling me what she was going to do and not taking my opinions or requests into account. This is the only grooming service that I use. A couple of years ago, you could call and get in the same day or the next day. That has changed. You need to call a week in advance (at least) if you want a weekend appointment. Petsmart delivers a consistent service, but it is none too cheap. My Pekingnese always looks great. read more

I will start with saying that I have worked at pet stores before. If there are no decent family owned pet stores in the area, I will always pick Petsmart over other pet store giants. They have a very good selection; food, toys, cages, crates, etc. But I find that at this location the majority of the employees have the same customer service skills you would find at Wal-Mart. Limited knowledge of the product and nearly no desire to help. More often than not I walk out feeling judged rather than supported. read more

Went to store for the first time to purchase a puppy kennel, food, bed, etc. couldn't really find items in store, being that it was my first time shopping here. When I asked for help, the girl was VERY HELPFUL and also very friendly, had tons of patience for me and all my questions . Also, the day before I made phone to call to store to ask for product availability and price matching info. The guy on the other end of the phone was also very helpful . HOWEVER, I went back in two days later to buy puppy supplement and different puppy food (kibbles this time), the lady whom I asked for help would NOT get out of her chair to help me, only kept pointing me in the direction of where product was located. When I asked her to walk me to aisle and maybe help me decide on supplements, she said, she couldn't help me because I didn't know what specific BRAND I was looking for!!! I was so upset.
