I have been a customer of Pet Supply Plus for five years, since moving to Waco. Initially, I was impressed with the store. My biggest need was grooming and specialty foods since both of my dogs had digestive issues and skin issues. But over the last year, I had some real issues with the grooming department and was so disappointed that I assumed I would not be bringing my dog back... BUT THEN out of nowhere AUBRI called me. SHE reached out and offer her services as she had now taken over the responsibility of the grooming department. I was tentative at first but her wonderful personality and the fact that she reached out on her own to reestablish a grooming relationship was really impressive, - So I went ahead and scheduled with her and my dog was groomed the other day by her. I wish I would've taken a picture the day I picked her up because she looked the best she has looked in years! Aubri did a fantastic job!!! I'm so relieved and grateful that she has taken over the grooming department. Because the store in general has a great selection and the service is always very good. So when there were issues in the grooming department last year, it was just thoroughly disappointing. But Aubri has completely changed that disappointment into satisfaction! I will definitely be scheduling again in the grooming department here at Pet Supply Plus, and continue purchasing my dog supplies here. My mother has been taking her dog here for grooming for a while and liked them until she had to reschedule an appointment. They told her there would be a $15 fee. Then she called on the way to an appointment to let them know she was running a little late (5 to 10 minutes), and was told there would be a $15 late fee. She's now looking for a new groomer. read more

I've been taking my dog to get groomed about 4 times here with Kat! The other times she did amazing that's why we were going back to her. July 4th we took our dog in to get groomed & I'm not sure if she didn't even try maybe so she could leave home early or something.. I got home & had a lot of hair I had to comb him. We paid for the de-shedding, I don't think we got the service we paid for... We called pet supply & they told us Kat would call us the next day. She never called so I'm putting this review. I don't think will be going back & I'll be letting other people not to go here. read more

I normally don't leave reviews I had to leave on for this place. First, the website states it cleans the stalls after every wash, that is hogwash I traveled 48 minutes from home today on a Saturday wet rainy cold day wanting to give my pooch a bath, and I was excited because the website made all seen so nice I get there and there 3 stalls that I see the one I had my pooch in was dirty had dog hair all in the stall so for the website to say that they sanitize after each dog is not true. I looked at the other stalls and they were the same the stall next to the one I had it had standing water and dog floating in it. That's why they ask for payment up front so you are SOL. I went walking around and saw employees walking around and two employees in the cat aisle . I just want you to know that what they have on website is not the truth I will not be going there again. read more

The managers, Lisa and Rachel are always such a big help and Jacy's kind and pleasant personality always has me leaving with a smile on my face. The point system is a huge perk! read more

My sis-in-law recommended this business. I have order on-line & have used their curbside service several times. One order was larger & I qualified for home delivery. The pet food arrived within two hours! Amazing! They do have a point system that can generate monetary savings .. a greatly appreciated feature. love the concept of having a wash station but it's never clean. towels smell like old wet dogs. half of the dryers don't work. the drains are not cleaned and full of hair. the tiles are dirty and it smells. I've told workers that it's clogged and they just stared at me. Good things: supplies are always full. trash is always empty. towels (even though they always smell bad) are available. price is very good. read more

My sis-in-law recommended this business for our pet's food. I have not been disappointed! I had signed up for "points", at other pet stores, & had yet to receive anything! At Pet Supplies Plus, I am sent updates & actually earn points I can apply toward a purchase. They have product discount offers, quite often. Their employees are consistently friendly & very helpful. They also offer home delivery. One week, my spouse & I arrived home from a long trip, only to discover our dog food supply was quite low. I called the store, several miles from our home, to find out about home delivery requirements. I was told if I ordered a certain amount, on-line, I would qualify for free delivery. I ordered & had the products delivered promptly! The Hewitt store has a faithful customer!! read more

I have been shopping here ever since they opened. It's close to home but I have found some good deals on dog food and treats. Recently I took my dog to the groomer. She did a good job at a very reasonable price! I am also a big fan of the curbside service. I place an order on line, drive over there and they put my order in my car. It's perfect! read more

Nearly all the young girls in there horse play around and won't even do there job correctly should seriously lose some of that I heard 2 girls the other day talking about different guys one was sleeping with out loud right infront of ME and my family they are the only place I can ever find my cats correct food at but if I have to listen to that I'll order it . read more

We just had the most horrible experience we went in to get a fish, there were 4 workers being childish and playing around and while they were bagging our fish. Also while being so loud and yelling at eachother I swear these four women were acting as if they were 13 years old 10/10 would NEVER recommend this place due to the customer service. read more

Come visit this place. No long supermarket lines to get your pet products. The dog food I picked up was a dollar cheaper than Petsmart, and I didn't have to drive across town. They sell aquarium fish & supplies, and pet birds too. An easier in and out is on the side. It will take you to a light to cross the ever busy Hewitt Drive. read more

I really like shopping here. Not as large as some, but I don't have to walk a mile to find what I need. Variety is good, and help is always close by, as well as friendly and pleasant. Once when I called to ask about a product, they knocked themselves out trying to help me.... and so nice about it. Another plus, parking is right in front of the store, so you don't have to cross a street to enter the store. read more
