Pet smart haircut
Carlos D.

I wish I could give this business a negative number. My poor mut was matted so they make sign a waiver...I was under the impression they would at least give me my pup with his hair evenly cut but they did such a bad job. There are parts on his body where they didn't cut his hair. Then the girl whose name is Hailey was very hesitant to cut his hair. I wish I went with my instincts not to leave my dog with a novice groomer, but I did it anyway. They want me to go back to finish the job...ummmmm No I Will not be going back.

Pet smart not only cut my dog all over his body, to the point of him NEEDING TO WEAR A CONE, but refused to take any time brushing him out and completely shaved him to the skin. His tail is halfway shaved and he has a fluffy tail so it looks stupid- it literally makes no sense why they did it to his tail... He's moving to UC Berkeley next week to do service dog work and looks so horrible, I am very sad :( 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS GROOMER I WISH I LISTENED TO REVIEWS!!! Fluffy pic is how cute he was before :(

Multiple dead/dying betta fish. It's so sad that these fish are just left to die on the shelf.

Here is a photo showing her staples

I would never take my dog here to get groomed again. We took two of our Shih Tzus. We got a call that one of them got nicked, and they said their protocol was to take them to the vet. They made it seem like it was something very small. When we picked her up we saw she had to get 6 staples! It was not a small nick! It was a big cut on her stomach. Our poor dog had to suffer with staples in her stomach for two weeks. Due to her cut they couldn't continue grooming her. Our other dog looked horrible. I should have never given them a chance. When I posted what they did on social media I received so many messages with other horror stories that other people have with them. If you can make the drive to Reedley I recommend you go to Pet Haven. They do such a good job. I needed a quick appointment, so that is why we tried Pet Smart, but I'll never do that again.

Honestly the worst groomers. I have gave them plenty of chances. They are lazy. They just shave the dogs when it's just a lot of work. My dog looks hideous and why did they do that to his tail. This is ridiculous.

Our fur babies excited to go have "spa day" with Jada!

They close the Grooming Salon at 4pm? I guess those that work normal hours are out of luck! They REALLY need to change this policy ASAP!

Ask for Nikki. She is very knowledgeable and kind. She knew exactly what to recommend for a very specific and delicate dog.

They were willing to have us pick up our puppy when it was most convenient for us. They shared tons of baby photos with us, which we REALLY appreciated! We were given a great starter pack. We have a happy, healthy, well-adjusted puppy.

We decided we wanted to add to our family. We founded this breeder and decided to apply for one of…read moreher puppies. Right before we exchanged money we were told the puppies all have an intestinal parasite called coccida. She said that it would take ten days of medicine to rid the puppies of this parasite. We agreed to move forward and applied a deposit to purchase a puppy. After treatment we were informed that the puppy still had the parasite and another round of treatment was required. Unhappy with this we asked for our money back and were informed that deposits are non refundable. The breeder then found a three day treatment (would have been nice to use this one first). We reluctantly agreed that if the three day treatment worked we would still purchase the puppy (this was on May 19th). The three day treatment medicine was not available to the dog until May 26th. So it still turned into a ten day treatment. At this point we decided that we no longer wanted to deal with this breeder and again asked for our money back. Again we were told no refunds and that we should have done more due diligence. If any of this had been our fault I would understand, and we were willing to go through the first round of treatment. The breeder says the medicine didn't work. After some basic research online, I believe the puppies were just re-exposed. This would be the fault of the breeder as the puppies are most likely being exposed to these parasites through infected soil or feces. The breeder even admitted that she could not sell the puppies until they were rid of these parasites, meaning she has not lost out on any sale of this puppy. So she is just keeping $500 of our money out of spite. It was our desire to get a puppy at 8 or 9 weeks old based on our needs. At this point the puppy will be 14 weeks by the time we get it, assuming that she is parasite free with the current plan (a feat the breeder has failed to achieve so far), 1 month after the initial agreed upon date. Our decision to not move forward is based solely on the breeders inability to provide the puppy in a timely manner. This is why we feel that this breeder has basically stolen $500 from us.

She has been a warm source of encouragement and support throughout the puppy raising process. Most recently we trained with her in preparation for taking the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy test which my puppy then passed with flying colors. It's such a relief to have someone knowledgeable, experienced, and competent to help us reach our training goals. Renee has also been wonderfully understanding of my disability and willing to accommodate and adapt the training sessions as needed. Looking forward to training with her for years to come!

From our very first session, it was clear that Renee has a remarkable talent for connecting with dogs and understanding their unique personalities. Renee Cardoza utilized positive reinforcement techniques that made learning enjoyable for our pup and we saw remarkable progress in a very short period of time. Not only did our pup master essential commands and manners, he also became more confident and socialized. Renee provided us with valuable tips, both during our training sessions and in a follow up weekly email that included a review of our session, a review of the strategies for our "homework", and video links to illustrate the data's lesson. Impressive! Renee has empowered us to further the learning at home. We highly recommend Renee to anyone looking for a skilled and compassionate dog trainer!
