Trying to find a breed inclusive groomer has been a nightmare. I called and Alicia at TLC and she assured us that they get more violent chihuahuas than bully breeds. After a thorough conversation, we felt comfortable taking our pack of service animals (Golden Retriever, Lab, and AmStaff) to be groomed and they would be well taken care of- and they WERE! Not only were our dogs very well respected, but they are very knowledgeable about the care of double coated dogs. Our babies were quickly and beautifully groomed. This place is great. Incredibly affordable. I once asked one of the owners why they charge what they do and she said they want to make it affordable for people to take care of their pets. I can't give it anything more than a three star due to the fact that they injured my dog when cutting her nails. After the grooming I noticed my dog licking her paw ALOT. Taking a look And I see blood. The hair cut was good but very unpleasant to see my pup hurting. It was our first time taking our two dogs and we are thoroughly disappointed. First, we were not even greeted in a friendly manner - at all. The staff made no effort to make us feel welcome. It was just a weird vibe in there, sadly even the dogs in the cages were weeping. One of my dogs continued to cry as they were not at all friendly with them - no effort to make them feel relaxed by engaging in soothing comments. Our older dog has never done that with other groomers. Even when I called to check on our dogs, I could hear in the background not only my dog whimpering but other dogs. Upon returning, regrettably, we received the same treatment when we picked them up. Such a disappointment in how they groomed our dogs. They shaved off one of the tails completely and never even called to ask if that was okay after we left instructions not to do so. Our other dog, under the belly was still dirty, so I am not even sure if she was actually bathed. We will not be returning! read more

This was it's my first time here first off The staff was very friendly and professional they looked like they had everything figured out so that gave me confidence that my pup was going to be in good care. I left they said they'll call me back, which they finished fairly quickly but it turned out great I have no complaints about the groom they did a excellent job. But what I'm angry about is how they retuned my pup, he had a blood vessel poped on his right eye it was really red, that what was what the vet said when I took him. He should he getting better. I just a have a complaint, about how you treat your animals when groom, if you use force just l to trim they're hair. I know for a fact by puppy did not give a fight to trim his hair he's a good boy. read more

Layla had back issues & Tina would let me stay during the grooming to make sure Layla felt comfortable. I was referred to this groomer by a friend, after a bad experience at another groomer in town. My whole family was beyond happy with the service, how our dog was treated, and how he looked. We had wanted a groomer that knew how Bichon's should be cut. Our dog was happy when we picked him up. Our last groomer we took him to our dog acted sad all day afterwards. I am so disappointed. I thought I would try out a new grooming place for my dogs and I went here. I regret that. It took them 4 and a half hours when the most it has ever taken is 2 hours. All I asked for was a nail cut, to cut around her butt, and to cut around her paws. That should not have taken 4 hours when she was one of the first dogs in there at 8 am. I come to pick her up and she frantically ran out the door when she is normally very comfortable at the vet and groomers. I paid and took her home and noticed that they cut her nose and they did a horrible job. She came home very anxious when she never is. They weren't even supposed to be cutting anywhere near her face so I don't know how they managed to do that. Do not bring your pets here. read more

We took our two Maltipoo to TLC grooming and spoke to Sara and specifically asked for the ears and tails not to be cut. When my dog got home I noticed the hair on one ear was chopped off. When we called to demand an explanation she said, "sorry I made a mistake the ear got sucked up into the cutters and fortunately it was only her hair, it could have been her ear or something worse". We were angry when we called but did not say anything inappropriate, she responded, "she is only human and it was a mistake, and will not be belittled." I would have expected her to offer to make both ears look alike or refund what we paid. Now our dog now has one ear cut super short and the other is long. We are extremely unhappy and would not recommend anyone who loves their pets to take them to TLC.... read more

Took my dog here for a wash and haircut. He left with a choppy cut and shed all over the car because they didn't brush him out after the cut. He then developed a massive ear infection in the next few days. He was miserable and the vet bill cost me 250$. Not pleased with this outcome and will never take him back here. Be warned. read more

The employees at TLC Grooming are so rude and told me even after FOUR hours of my dog being with them, she (Tina) still has not started yet! They even said that if i wanted " i can take him now" !! After four hours of us waiting for our dog in their business, they tell us this? Really, excuses will not solve the problem!! The employee talking to me was so rude and told me my dog did not even have an appointment yet when I called Tina two days ago she told me to come even putting a day day and time! Still, the lady proceeded to tell me that they did not put him down on the schedule. Towards the end another employee (male) was there grooming another dog and he jumped into me and this women's conversation between us saying that Tina has had a rough day and her daughter was in the hospital. Yet in reality if this is the point they're trying to make then why is she still here doing other dogs ?? In the end he told me this is his business and that I should leave because i am the one who is rude!! Rude because i asked why my dog is still there in the cage after 4 hours when they haven't even started on him. Anyways, this is not the first time they took my dog for 4+ hours. The employees at TLC Grooming need to change their attitude and start being nice to people if they want to continue their business. read more
