Petsmart Grooming!!!! Awesome!!!! My dog Dakota Violet went in with a lot of hair which was knotted so they had to cut off quite a bit. I'm sure Dakota was happy because it's hot and she always would lay on the cold tile floor. Oh honey she bougie now . She looking Rich ... lol The Groomers are Shawna, Sam, Vivian. They were great. Petsmart you rock. Thank You for serving the community and getting the dogs together. Very patient . Shawna was giving me tips on Standard Poodles because that's the kind of dogs she have. She was very knowledgeable about this breed and I appreciate it. Thank You Shawna. Check them out!!!! Up Up and Away....... read more

Inexperienced pet groomers left my dog uneven hair cut and didn't follow directions. I did not want to see my dog's freckles under his coat but guess what??? Yea..... Came here because my dog is new to me so i was looking for a steady place. I will not bring my dog again read more

This location is not always on point. Sometimes they are hit or miss. Today, they knew the assignment. My daughter and I were looking for prescription cat food for our fur baby and went directly to the cat food section (back left). I became discouraged when I didn't find it but I didn't give up. I decided to wait in the long line to ask the cashier if she knew if they had the prescription brand in stock. While waiting in line I remembered I had another prescription in my purse. I found the other prescription! I left the line and was about to look again in the cat food section when the two employees that were engaged in conversation asked if I needed help. They looked important with their clipboards. I believe they were store managers, maybe. I explained to them the situation and something fell out of my purse (an old receipt). The woman manager reached down and returned it to me while I fumbled through my purse trying to show them the prescriptions for our cat. They were both so gracious and walked my daughter and I to the appropriate area to find the prescription cat food. It was in a different section on the right side of the store (from the main entrance). I was so grateful that they helped us. It made a big difference receiving their kindness and that knowledge of the proper location for the prescription food went a long way. Once we were in line again, another register was opened and the line moved faster. We were able to purchase our prescription cat food pretty quickly and continue on with our day. Thank you PetSmart! read more

The Grooming Dept. is the most inept groomer I have ever been to. Before I go any further I need to let you know I used these groomers 2 times for the same dog. (I'm a slow learner) My first visit by way of grooming was pretty good. What made me angry was that my Abby sat in a cage for who knows how long before they called me! When Abby gets anxious or afraid she will pick whatever is nearest. When I picked her the first time her whole face was wet from licking the walls of the cage she was in. I thought it was a mistake and let it go. I gave them the benefit of doubt. My next visit was today, and once again nobody called me to say Abby was done. I was going to give Petsmart a little wiggle room because they were busy. I was notified Abby was ready on a private phone not the store phone!! When I got there I was angry. I wasn't swaring or acting like an Ahole. The manager thought that I shouldn't be angry. I think i was well within my rights to be angry. The manager made it clear that I had no right to get angry, and treat him with utmost respect. When Abby was brought out her face was soaking wet! I'll never do anymore business with Petsmart. I've been a loyal customer for years. Petco is a little more limited in products, but I also use Chewy. I'm going to be a lot more business with Petco and Chewy. And 1 more thing...Petsmart is a LOSER company. read more

I came here looking for a pet carrier. It was to be used for my aunt's small dog. I had gone online to see what was available and what the prices were like. I noticed that there were a lot of items that they said were in stock in the store. When I got to the store, I didn't find any of those items. I asked the person at the front of the store if they might know where any of these things were, but they were not very much help. They said something to me about while whatever is listed online is not always what's listed or available in store. Now, I do understand that, but they couldn't have been out of absolutely everything. I don't see how you can say that you have X amount of certain items available and when you go to the store, they don't know if those items even existed all in the store. That seemed very strange to me. Not only that, but they were not honor any kind of price matching to what I was finding on their own website. So, disgruntled and upset, we left. read more

I rarely leave many reviews, but I feel it's important to share my experience. First, I want to talk about them giving shots WAY before they should! I bring my pups to this location for shots, and they gave my 2yr old pug a rabies shot 11 months too early! When we asked why this was given so early, they said it was fine. Actually, it is NOT fine! In my head I was wondering WHY they were not more organized and tracking these shots! So, to any other customers, keep track of all your shots and when they need to be administered because they are not doing it. Secondly, the front desk staff has gone downhill over the last couple of years. They are disorganized and uninterested in any type of real customer service to people who come in. Customers are not greeted when they walk and no smiles at all. It is straight faces and the girl at the fronts face is buried in that laptop. Something else that is VERY strange, they take photos of your dog with their personal phones without asking the owner if it is OK. The other thing with these front desk ladies is, what TF are they wearing?? They are in workout pants where you can see every dip and dimple, dirty hoodies, hair is a mess, and their crazy long nails....they look extremely unprofessional! Now don't think I am a prude AT ALL because I am not! I get dressing like that if you are home being a bum, but NOT at work! Come on now! And the waiting room looks run down and dirty! The company needs to revamp that waiting room FOR SURE!!! Some advice, take some pride in your appearance, especially at work instead of looking like you just rolled out of bed and could care less to be at your job. And smiling and greeting customers who bring in their pets who are like family to us, would be nice as well as NOT taking photos of our fur babies with your personal phones without permission. With ALL due respect, we pay a lot of money to take care of our animals so please do better! read more

I understand being understaffed but it should not be hard to unlock or open the bathroom for people without giving them a hard time. Guys, the employees at this petsmart do NOT care about the pets. They are also extremely lazy. I asked then for just 20 crickets, and i saw around 100-200 crickets in their box, and the employee just said "i'm sorry we're unfortunately put of crickets" when there were a TON of crickets. I also asked for some suggestions on fish to get, the employee still said "I don't know" To be fair, that was reasonable to say. But i also saw them do it to another customer. They also say "I don't know" to pretty much anything that your kid asks, and SPECIFICALLY kids. So, just don't go here if you have a kid. read more

I was shopping in the store the other day, and I noticed some special needs people stocking the shelves. This is for the groomers department, First and last time I'm ever bringing my dog to get groomed here!! I believe her name is Madison, tried really hard to check my dog's fur for any tangles or reason to up charge me for something and the only tangle she had was on her ear from a bow the previous groomer put on her. She told me they will just cut it off and it'll be fine and I agreed, but she kept searching for more matts and found nothing and tells me she might charge me $10 more for that little tangle on her ear saying she'll have to brush it out instead. Wtf. When I pick her up, sure enough she charged me that extra $10 for the tangle she supposedly brushed out but clearly it was cut off and then claims she had tangles around her mouth. I didn't want to cause a scene and just my tongue and paid her extra $10. I KNOW for a fact my dog had no matts!! They also charge extra for filing their nails and now my dog keeps accidentally hurting me and on top of that they missed a few spots on her hair cut, they didn't even give her bows because supposedly they have none and my fur baby has also been sad and won't even eat or drink anything. I was warned about this place, but PetSmart gave me a $20 coupon so I wanted to try them out and now I really regret it. I'm going back to diva dogs, they take longer but at least their prices are set and they don't charge extra for filing nails or try to up charge you for something ridiculous. I've also been here a few times before with other people dropping off their dogs and they're never satisfied either AND Madison is always there with her condescending service. Someone make her stop gaslighting customers. read more

Happy for a place with a great team of associates, dog trainers, and dog groomers. I now have a one year old doberman but took her in at 12 weeks for puppy training all the way through intermediate classes. Our dog instructors were Tiffany G and Greg, and I couldn't be happier to write this review. You can tell the interest they have in helping dog owners train their dogs and know all the right ways to train a dog. It's a learning process and requires a lot of homework, but if you follow through, you totally see results at home with your dog. On top of that, since my doberman was a puppy, I have had Tiffany G groom her and have had a wonderful experience. My doberman is SO excited to go to Petsmart when I take her and the moment she sees Tiffany, she is so happy. Every time after her session, Tiffany and my Coco give each other love and it's so sweet. Quality care and service, and Tiffany does an excellent job handling small-large dogs like my Coco. Checking out, I've never had a rude associate. May be due to covid they may not have a lot of staff, but the line goes by pretty quickly. Overall, wanted to write this review for Tiffany who is always a pleasure, but also for a store that has good deals and friendly staff. read more

Called the veterinary portion at this PetSmart location and my call was answered and immediately placed on hold. Usually not a problem except for the fact I was on hold for 20 minutes with still no greeting or answer of any kind. I just had a question that their website continuously crashed upon clicking links. I took my new rescue for grooming. My puppy is very anxious, being recently adopted. She shows no signs of aggression, just extremely nervous. While we waited in line, a groomer, Jackie, came up and was able to pet my puppy and she gave me a suggestion on which grooming package to get. When my puppy was assessed by the stylist Apprentice my puppy was so nervous I suggested maybe I can walk away to see if that would help. I stepped away then when I came back was told by Jenna, the manager, that because she was showing signs of anxiety, they could not take her back- for safety reasons. She suggested I walk her around to get her used to the store and try again. I walked my puppy around the store and when I came back to the grooming section, Jackie, who I had interacted with while waiting to be seen, was there. She was able, again, to pet my puppy, and she said she could groom her. Jackie suggested I walk away while she takes the puppy in the back. I stepped away and a few moments she calls me back. When I come back, Jenna, the grooming manager, is standing there with her hand on her hip and proceeds to tell me "I already told you we can't do her today" the way she spoke to me was so belittling. I did not take what she told me earlier as they couldn't do it today, simply to walk her around then when she's comfortable, bring her back. She made it seem like I was trying to sneak in and get my dog groomed, which was not the case. It was simply suggested she could have her nail clipped and a quick grooming. Jenna does not know how to talk to and treat humans, I have concerns with how she'll treat my pet. The treatment from Jackie was top notch and I was looking forward to having her groom my pet; however, when the manager treats me the way she did, I will not be back. I did call and make my concerns known with the store manager, Elizabeth. I wish I had read the Yelp reviews before coming here, it would have saved me time and gas! read more

On, 02/02/2024, at approximately 6 pm, my wife and I visited this location looking for, Orijen large breed puppy dog food. (Expensive) We are regular customers at the Apple valley location and love our Petsmart team. Either it be help with our Cane Corso or our Mainland Reticulated pythons. We are always helped and satisfied. However, sadly, and TRAUMATICALLY, during this visit, my wife and I heard, " (unknown employee) theft sweep in isle", over the loud intercom, and a sworn of three employees began to lurk as we shopped. We were the only people in the store at time , I should add. If we looked suspicious, I would have understood. However , we did not . My wife was simply reading dog food ingredients. One employee, was a Male. Was he enjoying the visual approval management allowed him of my wife while on the clock? Most definitely. My wife is stunning. Moving forward. The password required restroom was a scene from a Rob Zombie film. As you entered the "secured" restroom a complete grey and blue transient sweat suite was located in the restroom. The clothing smelled absolutely foul. With that being said, Corporate needs to conduct an investigation with this time stamp and issue proper training at this location. Thank you for treating Victorville with poor judgment and poor customer service. Exactly what the world needs at its local Petsmart! On a unprofessional note: I'm not seeking to prove our innocence over a complaint , I can only share our experiences and hope it helps the next consumer as well as this stores poor customer service. Shame on you Petsmart... I wish I could give zero stars. read more

I took Bella couple days before Thanksgiving to make you she did not have any blockage in her intestines. They did X-rays and said they did not see anything other than she had a swollen pancreas. They gave her antibiotics and a liquid to make sure she would go poop. They said if she went the the restroom she would be fine and she threw up that was a bad sign. As we left from the vet Bella pooped so I thought it was a good sign. But when we arrived home Bella did not have no strength to get up by herself . We carry her cleaned her up and few minutes laters she passed away. When they called me the next day to asked me why I did not take Bella back and let them know that she passed as soon as we got home. They did not have no answer for me! They said she looked fine I do not know what happened. I have been grieving and I finally got the courage to write this review. I just do not want any other family to go what I am going through. I know Bella could have given me more years she was only 5 years old and I remember the day I took her their she was happy and wanted to go in the store to look at toy read more

If I could rate this company a negative 10 I would. Took my puppy in for a first cut - dropped her off at 9am - Picked up 3 hours later with barely anything done. I completely understand puppies being anxious - and not being able to provide a hair cut - but why am I paying $100 for a wash and blow out? Something I give my pup on my own. ? Not to mention no nails cut... so please tell me what I paid for? Ultimately they wasted my time and charged me for it. And no I won't be returning to this little dusty establishment- happy cause they have a nationally recognized name. read more

They didn't even want to work with us because it's not the customers fault it's all messed up. They wouldn't even try to fix the problem even if it was so easy to do. The cashiers are idiots,. I recommended petsmart to my sister to take her Bella for her first puppy cut and omg, horrible experience ever. The cut was ugly. It was choppy all over and they shaved her down completely. They left her head area so fluffy it looks like she's wearing a wig. Her fluffy tail looks like a rat tail now with little to no hair. I can't believe Petsmart think this was okay. I'm a new mommy to a cane corso. I took him In when he was about 8 weeks old. It was a Saturday after noon. That's when they have a small little center open to vaccinate your pet. The two wonderful ladies were very knowledgeable. They knew a lot about my fur baby's breed! They handled him with care and love. All my questions were answered. I felt confident they knew what they were doing. The ladies passion for pets couldn't have been more than clear! What I truly liked the most was the room they had set up for your little fur baby. Puppy looks great & smells wonderful!! Candace did a great job! Teddy and I greatly appreciate her for the new look.

They just lost my business. I take my dog every summer to get her hair cut. She has a double coat so they were arguing with me about it. Telling me that I don't know if anyone told you but her hair may not grow back the same and I told them I come here every summer. They were very adamant about it. Not just one person but three of them. Very rude about and no suggestions about it. It infuriated me that they would even do that. I just don't think they wanted to cut her. Zero stars for the grooming service. I took my dog there for grooming with Rabeca, and it was a horrible experience. My dog is very anxious, and this particular groomer seemed to be very inexperienced and didn't really know how to handle him. Upon pick up, she tried to imply that my dog snapped at her and attempted to bite her. She had an attitude and did not make us feel good about leaving our dog with her at all. To top it off, she could only bathe him because of how anxious he was, and we were still charged 32 dollars for only a bath. She didn't even dry him or trim his nails!
