The worst petsmart I've ever been to! Do NOT take your dogs here for grooming. To start, they shaved my dogs tail (toy poodle) completely off. I'm still finding scabs from where they cut him. When I went to pick up my dogs, they handed me two receipts. I paid & went home. I get a call 20 minutes later saying I need to come back to pay for one of my dogs. Apparently, they gave me the wrong invoice & it was all my fault. I tried explaining to the lady that it's not my issue they handed me the wrong invoice & that i was not coming back for HER mistake. She got extremely rude with me & blocked me in their system. Mind you, I take my dogs to petsmart every 8 weeks to get their hair cut. I buy all their food, treats & toys there. I have NEVER had an experience like this before. I travel the country full time so I go to new petsmarts every time. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

I already filed a complaint and a review of this place. NEVER AGAIN! I'll just make a long story short, my Australian Shepard had mats behind her ears and needed a bath and brush with sanitary trim, paws cleaned out, and nail clip. The *Lead Groom* poo pooed my complaint and what she said was a load of crap. I used to run my own grooming shop. Now I'm almost 70 and we just moved and then got in a car accident which is why I wanted her groomed. I couldn't. She is a sweet unusually laid back Aussie. She loves people and will cooperate if she is spoken to . I paid for other services and she STILL HAD EAR MATS, RAZOR BURNS ON HER PAW PADS, NO SANITARY TRIM, and her nails need filing smooth. Find a real groomer don't bring your pets here. Also the bucket and mop for pee clean ups was black water. Really? read more

I am not very happy with Twin Falls PetSmart. I took my 2 Yorkies in for their scheduled appointment, with 2 different groomers, so that I could get them both done at the same time. We get there, and we are told one of the groomers called out. We drive out of our way to take our girls to PetSmart. This was a major inconvenience. They did happen to call to tell me. 15 MINUTES BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT!!! I missed the call because my phone was in my pocket. Needless to say, we will not be going back. read more

I took my brothers blonde lab there for a bath, it has been a couple of years ago now. She was bathed and clean. However, her nails had been cut and one of them was bloody. I couldn't believe that with those big clear nails that you see the quick so easily, that one was cut too short. Normally, I do them myself, and I was not asked if I wanted the groomer to cut them. From what I read in the reviews the grooming employees need more training and handling experience. The dog did not suffer from an infection or anything. Though having that happen once makes a dog fearful of having their nails trimmed again. As far as the store goes, it is a convenient location and I stop in there often. We've been Pet Smart customers for over a decade now, and this is the most unfortunate review I've ever had to write. We've been taking our two chihuahuas to Pet Smart for grooming since 2018. We've always had fantastic experiences, even with our Chihuahua who gets anxious over nail trims. Every groomer we've worked with has been patient, skilled, and great at what they do. Recently we took the dogs in for a nail trim and grind at the Twin Falls location. Our first Chihuahua did great as always and was done within five minutes. Our second, more anxious Chihuahua went back in, and within about five minutes they brought her out saying they couldn't finish her service and one paw was left untrimmed (yet we were being charged full price). My fiancé went back in to see if they could try one more time with her since we'd have to come back the next day anyways to try again, and we were received with "we can't take her as a client anymore," even though they were able to finish the nail trim when we came back in within one minute. In addition to this, prior to the appointment, we had some issues with scheduling the appointment and I was shocked at the change in what usually is great customer service. We are saddened that after five years of taking our current dogs to Pet Smart for grooming, and thousands of dollars invested into Pet Smart, that they were unable to work with our dog and were so negative towards us as a result. We will no longer be doing business with Pet Smart in any sense, which is sad because we've gotten grooming, food, toys, treats, and supplies with them forever. I hope no one else has this experience, and I feel bad for my dogs who have always been Pet Smart guests for their quarterly appointments. read more

I have been taking my dogs to Petsmart in Twin Falls for the two years we have lived in Ketchum and Hailey, My little Oliver, an 8 month old shih tzu was just there on Jun 9, 2024 groomed by a person named Stephanie. Firstly, the grooming was not what i requested he looks horrible. He is several different lengths and chopped up. I generally do not write reviews but I love my puppy and no one else should go through this. I watched from a distance as this woman tugged and pulled at my puppy and shock him around not speaking to him ONCE. He was afraid of her and would not let her clip his face, firstly, he is a puppy 8 months old he has been groomed 4 times maybe. In addition, she never spoke to him. This groomer will NEVER touch my dog of any age again. Usually they are kind and sweet to all my babies. I usually only have one groomer but she was out on maternity leave. In addition it took 3 hours for them to do this horrible job and scare me and my puppy to death. $57.00 for this garbage ridiculous. I have an appointment for a reason I had an appointment at 1:30 I thought two hours maybe 2.5 but I finally got Oliver back right when I was going to knock on the window to stop this horrible person from hurting my puppy. It was almost 5 pm. SMH! Don't do it. Worst haircut my baby has ever had. The groomer didn't pay any attention to instructions at all. Shaved off his body and made a choppy mess all over his head and ears. Its crazy. I was scared for my dog and he just wanted to get away started barking at me as soon as he came out and he NEVER barks. Please do not let this woman touch your dog. read more

Ironically this pet store is worse than Petco when it comes to the fish. I will also give them the fact that it seems like the other species/critters are doing ok. The fish... it so much. They really have no business selling fish let alone presuming to tell people how to keep fish when they can't take care of the fish they sell. Sick emaciated fish everywhere you look. As with Petco, if you buy a fish from there it would be a rescue operation. If your luck it might live through the night once you get it home. And then if you hope and pray your other fish might not get infected with a bacterial or parasitic infection and also die. Needless to say a good quarantine program at home is essential for anything brought home from this store for sure. I hate beating up on a business, but I go to both PetSmart (not so smart) and Petco from time to time...just to see if anyone has done anything about the terrible conditions the tanks are in...but this is what you get from the big box stores that only care about $$$$...not actually about the pets they say they care about. I took my dog into Petsmart to get her ears and feet trimmed. Left her for an hour and 15 minutes. When I returned she could barely walk out of the store. She was on slick linoleum. Three days later she still can barely walk. Dog weighs 1.5 times what I weigh and the attendant didn't help me get her up. She just watched me struggle. I took dog to vet and they did pay for exam. My dog is now in great pain. Went back to store to get intake paperwork that I had signed. The NO comment for "Are there any health or behavioral issues" had been crossed out and changed to a YES. They also added a comment about her limping on her left leg. I wish she was just limping on this leg. She can barely more any of her four legs. Corporate headquarters have not returned my phone calls. Seeking Lawyer advise. DON'T USE THESE PEOPLE. THEY WILL HURT YOUR DOG!!! read more

Worst haircuts my babies have ever had. The groomer didn't pay any attention to instructions at all. Shaved off their skirts and made a choppy mess all over their bodies. Evidently they don't know how to groom schnauzers! I never met the groomer, only the bather. They did get a really good bath! I asked how it went and if they were well behaved. I was told the groomer would talk to me. No sign of the groomer. If I did work like that, I guess I wouldn't show my face either! I didn't realize until I got into the truck, how bad it was! They were there 4 hours and really had to go to the bathroom, so my husband took them out immediately. Worst thing is, I even tipped them because I didn't know. $116.00 total for the mess they made, I'm just sick over it. read more

Would only give a half star! Not one employee was helpful. The guy at the register was more concerned with checking out everyone that walked in the door than focusing on his job. Tried to charge me twice for a dog tag because he didnt give me a receipt then got frustrated when he couldn't figure out how to reprint the receipt. Then hovered over us as we were getting our tag engraved. Will be taking our business to petco were employees are friendly and helpful. read more

My husband took my dog to get a hair cut we have been there several times. But today the lady in front desk was very rude. We wanted a longer hair cut due to the weather outside, and she started demanding that we need to brush the dogs hair daily and that the longer cut was not possible, plus she was going to charge more. I believe that if we pay more than $40 we should get a good service. Some people complaint about a pickle on a $1 cheeseburger but I can not ask how I want my dog's hair. I called to complaint about this lady, but guess what the rude lady was the one that answer the phone. So I hope a manager higher than her reads this, due to an employee like her, I am taking my business somewhere else. read more
