When i asked for crickets i asked for 50 large ones and they gave 10 and half of them were dead and when i asked if this was 50 the worker smirked and said yes (it wasn't )

    After my "trim"!

Used their grooming services 2 yrs ago but since changed policies where you need to leave your dog for 4 hours bc they work in 3-4 dogs at a time. I was unaware and couldn't stay past two hours and had to take my dog in the middle of their regular service. I was told by the manager that he was not finished and some trimming would need to be done. However when I got him home there were still dingleberries on his rear and a big bag of hair I took off. After two hours and paying full price for the groom, I expected more! He needed more than just a final trimming! Very sad when workers need to manage their manager! I'm not sure how a manager could let that quality of work go out the door. If they would have taken a few minutes more for trimming up or given me a discount, I wouldn't be posting this. Not bad work, bad manager of their time and services!

I don't typically frequent Petsmart, because I tend to buy things online, but I decided to try their grooming after receiving an email with a coupon. Since when did grooming become more expensive than my own haircut!? Ha! But seriously, I have a rescue Shih Tzu, and he's 14.5 pounds, and costs range from $54-$58 for his grooming. So I get him cut short when he gets cuts to make it last longer, plus that way he doesn't get too hot. He looks like a completely different dog after he's groomed. I am always worried he's gaining weight, but when he gets cut, I can see that he's got a waistline. The grooming is busy here. I dropped him off at his appointment, and he was ready almost 5 hours later. That seems like a long time, but I guess Saturdays are probably a pretty popular day. They showed me a chart with different lengths of fur, so I could decide what blade should be used, and I asked for a teddy bear face. He seemed happy when I picked him up. He was definitely trimmed up nicely. He didn't smell badly, but some of the other more "boutique" dog salons tend to make him smell really good. They also put a bandana around his neck, or something decorative when he's done, which Petsmart is more a no-frills salon. As far as the products they have, they offer a great variety, but I will say I feel like their prices are a little steeper than some of the online places I use. But I know they are a company that gives back, and so I don't mind paying a little more here. The day I came the Easter Bunny was there, so you could get pictures with the Bunny with your dog or child. Unfortunately by the time I picked up, the bunny was done, but I did snag a picture with my daughter. I think the groom job was fine, and I'd use them again, but they wouldn't be my first choice. However, I love that offer charitable donations for pets. Their charity ensures more than 90 cents of every dollar goes directly to help pets in need. It made me feel good to contribute, and actually I wish I had donated more. Next time I will.

Petshotel - we have used their boarding a number of times for our English Bulldog. We do the daily boarding plus pupcamp. Every time we have picked her up, she has slept for a full day. They wear her out!! They provide a fun camp report letting you know how she did sleeping, eating, playing, etc. they take extra care to make it fun. I know my dog is getting excellent care when she is there. She apparently has a great time too. She runs in when we get there and doesn't look back. Highly recommend.

This is for the pet hotel. You called her a bad dog and turned us away. Reactive dogs aren't bad dogs. Within 10 minutes @ 4 Paws!

After her stay, she came home visibly distressed and became increasingly lethargic. I rushed her to an emergency vet, where she required immediate care. The owner, Kristen, acknowledged this in writing and offered a $500 reimbursement to help with the vet expenses. Thatincident was over two months ago. I've followed up multiple times, professionally and respectfully, but I've received no response and no payment. While accidents can happen, how a business handles them afterward says everything. Their silence--after admitting responsibility--has forced me to share this publicly. I hope no other pet parent has to go through what we did.

This was our 6th time using daycare for our Australian Shepherd, Zeus, and what we experienced was beyond unacceptable. We trusted this place. We expected outdoor play, clean and sanitary conditions, real supervision, and staff who genuinely care about dogs. Instead, we walked into neglect. From the moment we arrived, the staff was rude, dismissive, and clearly annoyed by basic questions. When we dropped Zeus off and asked for a tour, we were bluntly told no manager was available and no tour could be given. No explanation. No reassurance. Just attitude. When we came back for pickup and asked again, we were told to wait so staff could "check on some things." That alone should have told us something was very wrong. What we saw after that made us angry, sick to our stomachs, and heartbroken. Multiple dogs were locked in kennels with no staff supervising at all. We personally witnessed kennel staff and groomers being unattentive, rude, and disengaged, including employees standing around or sitting on their phones instead of watching the dogs. Kennels were covered in dried urine and feces, and dogs were left sitting in it--no cleaning, no breaks, no compassion. Then we saw Zeus -- locked in a crate in the corner, shaking, crying, and terrified. Seeing our dog like that broke us. It was devastating. He looked scared, confused, and completely abandoned. Watching him tremble and cry in that crate made us feel sick, angry, and deeply depressed. No dog deserves to be treated that way--especially not in a place that claims to provide care. This was not a bad day. This was systemic neglect. We left furious, heartbroken, and ashamed that we trusted this place. We cancelled everything immediately and will never return. This was not daycare. This was dogs being warehoused, ignored, and emotionally broken. They call it It's a Dog Life -- but what we witnessed was cruelty, neglect, and suffering.

The emergency hospital had given him a fever-reducing shot that was supposed to last 24 hours. When we arrived at Tiger Tails first thing the next morning, we clearly told the staff and doctor about this and that it had only been 12 hours since it was given. The doctor took his temperature, did a quick checkup, and said he was fine -- then sent us home. We had pleaded that it was strange he wasn't eating or drinking and he was vomiting with hints of blood, but she kept insisting that he may have just ate something bad or just elder dog symptoms. Just 13 hours later, my dog passed away. I trusted Tiger Tails to take our concerns seriously and to monitor him properly after everything he had been through, but I feel that they dismissed his condition too easily. I am heartbroken and will never forget how this was handled. Please be cautious and make sure your pet gets the thorough care they deserve.

Very early on she started developing a cough and then wheezing, and then runny nose and I was so concerned I couldn't wait two more days for my already scheduled vet apt with another place. I called Tiger tails as soon as they opened this morning and I spoke with Jordan, and she was so unbelievably kind and helpful. She worked her butt off to get us in as early as possible, and even called me back twice to offer two earlier times, which we took. As soon as we got there we were greeted with super friendly staff. They led us to our excluded room (because of the cough) and every single vet tech and vet that came in was amazing. They were so gentle and loving to my baby, and explained everything they were doing. She did a thorough examination, asked questions, and determined it was kennel cough and sent me off with two different meds. I am a pretty anxious person when it comes to illnesses, especially since this is my first dog I personally own, but they were so welcoming and understanding, putting me at ease. I am SO glad I ended up going here, and will be going back for all her future shots/check ups. Thank you to the entire staff that helped me and my baby today!!

I've also developed quite a bit of compassion for the human condition. Over time, I've come to believe that true compassion isn't just about extending empathy -- it also means speaking up and holding people accountable when harm is done. So, in light of that, here is my first negative review: We brought our maltipoo, Maximus, to Petsuites in Cumming for daycare since his regular place was closed. When my husband picked him up, he noticed Maximus's ears looked smaller and were wet, so he brushed it off. But once they dried, it was obvious: someone had badly and unevenly cut the hair off both ears. I called Petsuites right away. The managers had already left, but I spoke to two employees -- one of whom had been with Maximus outside -- who claimed that "a piece of matted hair the size of two fingers on his left ear fell off," and insisted "100% no one cut your dog's hair." I explained this didn't make sense (as the before-and-after photos clearly show), but they kept denying it. The next day, the manager, Kayla, called me. She said she reviewed video footage and saw another dog chewing on Maximus's ear, gnawing off some of the hair, supposedly explaining the missing hair. When I asked about the clearly trimmed and uneven appearance on both ears, she offered no explanation but maintained, "I am confident no one cut the hair off his ears." Pet parents deserve transparency. If they had called me from the beginning to report what happened and offered to fix it, that would have shown accountability. But instead, they tried to cover it up with a bad haircut, waited until we discovered the problem, and then denied it. That's extremely concerning. If they can hide something so obvious, it makes me wonder what else might be happening behind closed doors. Prior to posting this, I gave Petsuites Cumming a chance to fully own up to what happened, but that was days ago, and here we are. So, I'm leaving this review to warn others. Pet parents -- unless you want a bad haircut you never asked for (and questionable honesty on top of it), please consider taking your pets elsewhere. Petsuites, Cumming -- do better.
