I am not one to go to a petsmart groomer. I am so picky since I have a Coton de Tulear she has a different coat and requires scissor cutting. Boy was I mistaken. Eden did an amazing job! I am so impressed. I love how she looks. This has been by far the best experience with a groomer yet. Highly recommend this Petsmart. Ask for Eden.

I brought my dog here to get groomed. Called to make a appointment last minute. I told them which one I wanted & got her in the same day. From the website I thought my total was going to be like 65 but it was 100. I was happy with how she came out I wasn't expecting the price. I'd definitely ask to clarify the price if you call and make the appointment or make the appointment on the app. You'll deff be happy with the turnout tho

Online hours stated opened at 8 am, went to get my pets their food walked in because the door was open, and then told by the store manager I could not purchase until 9 am. Showed her the posted store hour confused. She stated sorry that was wrong and I can only open a register for customers who have dogs that are at the groomers. So if you're not paying PetSmart to groom your dog then you can't buy anything. I will say the store manager was very polite and not rude but definitely not helpful at all.

Our pup, our gril Arya...
Tony C.

Yesterday I took my 9month old pug Arya to have her nails trimmed. A first, We both thought it would be a really tough task. I have personally tried over it over again with one of those grinders that you buy on Amazon to grind down pets nails... And she fights me every single time, it is virtually impossible... They explain that sometimes younger pugs don't like it in it's pretty tough to grind down their nails... But they gave it a try and they succeeded... They were both excellent in both customer service and taking care of our little girl. Thank you both for helping us we are both so grateful!!! I totally recommend Petsmart of Seal Beach!!! We will definitely be back.

Ask the Community - PetSmart

What is the grooming policy for puppies? Are vaccinations required? I was told the grooming manager…

You need an updated rabies vaccination if they are over 4 months old, if they are under four months it's not required.

We definitely recommend Andi!…read more We originally reached out to Andi for consultations regarding both of our Maltipoos, Kiki and Coco. During our initial phone consultation, Andi was incredibly honest and genuine. After learning more about our dogs, she felt that Kiki was the one who would benefit most from formal training and suggested that we could apply what we learned with Kiki to Coco as well. We really appreciated that she didn't try to upsell us on training for both dogs when she easily could have. That immediately showed us how much she genuinely cares about helping dogs and their families. At the time, Kiki was about six months old and was extremely reactive to just about everything in the outside world. We were looking for someone whose methods aligned with our values, and we loved Andi's positive reinforcement approach. Kiki completed Andi's six-week program, and the growth we've seen has been incredible. What sets Andi apart is that she isn't focused solely on teaching dogs tricks or obedience commands. She truly cares about each dog's emotional well-being and how they're feeling throughout the process. We learned so much--not just about Kiki, but about ourselves as dog owners. Andi helped us understand how our own behaviors and responses can shape our dogs, which was eye-opening and incredibly valuable. Of course, the work doesn't stop when the training sessions end. It takes consistency and ongoing practice at home, but Andi gave us the tools and confidence to continue building on Kiki's progress. The effort has been absolutely worth it. One of the best parts is that we were able to use many of the same training methods with our older Maltipoo, Coco, and she learned and benefited from them as well. Andi actively encouraged this, which we really appreciated. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate, and ethical trainer who truly puts dogs' well-being first, we wholeheartedly recommend Andi and Diamond Dog Training.

Our main issue was walking and pulling on leash. After our six-week training course, our pups improved tremendously. Not only do they no longer pull on walks, but the other techniques Andi shared have also improved our communication with our dogs. Andi is incredibly patient and has a straightforward, easy-to-follow way of explaining things. She followed up after every session with detailed notes and references, which made a huge difference .Again, I cannot recommend Andi and Diamond Dogs Training enough.

We couldn't be happier with our experience working with Yasmeen at Zenni Dogs!…read more My husband and I are first-time dog owners with a happy, energetic black lab. When we started looking for a trainer, we received two separate referrals for Yasmeen -- and we quickly understood why. At about seven months old, our pup had unfortunately been bitten by another dog, and we wanted help reintroducing him to social settings with both people and other dogs. We also wanted to learn tools and techniques to feel more confident managing him both inside and outside our home. From day one, Yasmeen was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping our dog (and us!) succeed. She took the time to understand his personality and tailored her training approach perfectly -- we started seeing improvement after just the second session. Her positive, effective methods made training fun and engaging for our whole family. She also shared practical tips we could easily use every day, which made a huge difference in reinforcing progress at home. Thanks to Yasmeen, we now feel so much more confident with our dog and better understand his needs and reactions in different situations. We're so grateful we decided to work with her -- highly recommend to anyone looking for a skilled, compassionate, and professional trainer who truly earns the trust and respect of both her clients and their dogs.

Been taking my 10 month old Min Pin Vinnie here for about 5 months now and honestly we love it!…read more This facility does a great job hiring really quality trainers (Donna, Jillian, Kody, Melanie just the awesome ones I've had the honor and pleasure of working with so far) that genuinely care about their clients and fur attachments (babies). It's made these classes invaluable and let me tell you some reasons why ... - your fur babies get trained via the knowledgeable, incredibly patient trainers training YOU, the parent (handler) - the social environment with other dogs and people around WHILE your baby gets trained by what you learn (they get used to all the distractions like in the outside world) as they are learning and it becomes a norm for them and helps with less skiddish behavior and able to focus better even with distractions - the variety of classes ... from beginner puppy to advanced levels and fun classes like different Agility class levels and even Pilates and playgroups for different sizes and personality types of dogs - did I mention the awesome trainers? They are always willing to answer your questions and eager to help in whatever way they can. This I signed up for the VIP program and honestly was a bit hesitant at first because of the price. But it really has been money so well spent. Don't get me wrong ... you have to put your time into it too in doing what you learned in class while at home and really thru-out any time you are not in class but talk about setting your dog up for success! It helps ease a lot of frustration between you and your dog when you help them understand you and you understand them so much more thru the bonding in this process of learning. To summarize ... just do it.

I can't say enough good things about the experience! Sissy was proving nearly impossible to potty train, but with David's guidance she finally started going outside consistently. He really jump-started her potty training and gave her the foundation she needed for better socialization, which was such a relief since she's a rescue and I had only had her for about a week and a half before the training started. David was so respectful of my home and went above and beyond to keep me comfortable while I was away. He sent daily text updates (often multiple times a day) with photos and videos, which reassured me that Sissy was doing fine and thriving. He was also extremely responsive via text, which gave me such peace of mind. Because Sissy was still scared of humans at the beginning, she wasn't ready to pick up all the commands like sit, stay, and come during the vacation package. But David didn't give up--he signed us up for follow-up obedience classes and even did a private session with me afterward. That's when everything clicked, and Sissy quickly learned her commands and blossomed under his training. I am so grateful for David and Karma Dog Training. Sissy has come so far thanks to their work, and I trust them completely with her care and training. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a trainer who is compassionate, reliable, and truly invested in your dog's success.

Kristen is easy to communicate with, personable, and gets along well with both animals and people. My cats adore her, even my skittish one. My parents have fun when she visits. I think one thing that made it difficult finding a cat sitter was that my elderly parents would still be at home during the visits, but Kristin had no hesitation when I mentioned that to her. It was quick and easy to arrange the initial visit. The price for cat sitting is competitive to what I would expect in my area of san diego. My only wish is that I have a pet sitter like her at home.
