Review for Grooming Department: Great team of groomers. I brought in my foster Asha for a bath. She somehow got into some motor oil and got it all over herself (luckily she didn't ingest any of it.) After multiple washes I had given her I decided to bring her into the grooming salon to get professionally cleaned. Lauren, Bart and there was a third person (sorry I didn't get his name!) They were the most helpful and was able to squeeze in Asha into their busy weekend schedule. I was worried that they wouldn't be able to get a lot of the oil off but they cleaned her up really good. They also followed up with a phone call and provided me with updates on the progress they had made. Thank you guys so much for taking such good care of Asha. She's now home and enjoying a well deserved nap.

I love this store very much because I love the cats, the dog toys, and cute Guinea pigs.

Got our little puppy groomed here and they did a really good job. We had a coupon so it made it a little cheaper. It took about an hour or two, and they called us when he was ready for pickup.

Took my shi'tzu to get groomed, first time in the store. The girl grooming her was nice. Calls me 2 hours later & says "I can't groom her anymore, she has mats & isn't letting me cut her hair." My Dog is 15 & has only a few teeth left. I've been taking her to get groomed without problems since I've owned her. She left her in laughable shape. My neighbor noticed the shape of my dog after the cut & said, "That should go viral". You'll understand why after looking at the pictures.

Extremely rude staff. Groomers have no idea what they are doing. Do yourself a favor, don't bring your pup here.

I'd worked with two trainers, including a 3 week board-and-train program ($5,000 investment), followed every instruction, and practiced daily, yet I didn't see changes. I was managing the behavior without ever understanding what was causing it. That changed within the first two hours with Brad. He didn't start with commands or tools. Instead, he focused on the psychology behind Sunny's reactions: what was driving them, what was reinforcing them, and what I was unknowingly communicating. No one had ever explained it that clearly. That was the turning point. For the first time, I wasn't guessing or correcting blindly. I could see what Sunny was experiencing in real time and understand how my timing, energy, and responses were shaping his behavior. That clarity changed everything. Walks feel completely different now. Sunny is no longer pulls since my training with Brad, the reactive outbursts are gone, and the experience itself is calm. I'm no longer bracing for problems because I know how to prevent them. I am SO appreciative!

Both instructors were also very patient and answered all questions from all students including any random questions outside of the training topic of the week. The weekly training session was then followed by an hour of puppy playtime where all dogs can play and learn how to socialize with other dogs under the supervision of the instructors. Before the puppy playtime started, the instructors will come outside of the facility to get your puppies from you. They also wore masks during the entire playtime. My puppy is always super excited and happy when seeing Chris and Brandon and love to sit on their laps to be petted. My puppy also comes home happy and tired from the playtime every time. I wish they would have more puppy playtime sessions. I definitely recommend training with Chris and Brandon and I am looking to sign up my puppy to the more advanced dog obedient classes

He trained my husband and me as well as our puppy! So grateful. Tommy has a gift for knowing how dogs think and he shares that knowledge as part of the session. We never felt rushed to finish a lesson when he came to the house, he just dealt with our issues and reminded us to keep practicing with our dog until next time. We even decided to enroll in his weekly puppy class so that our puppy would learn to behave around other dogs. His private dog park is a god-send as we live in a condo and don't have a yard for our puppy to play in. She loved going there and we'll be back! We highly recommend Tommy. As Nala approached 9 months old, she began showing signs of reactivity toward people and other dogs, especially on walks. We couldn't have anyone new come into our home without her barking, growling, and displaying dominant behavior. Walks became stressful--she would lunge at certain people wearing hats or sunglasses and at other dogs. We were starting to lose hope and knew we needed guidance to help Nala trust us and feel secure. We reached out to Emily, and from her very first consultation, we knew we had made the right choice. Emily arrived calm and relaxed, allowed Nala to approach her at her own pace, and immediately showed us how Nala should properly greet people. From that moment, I knew Emily was the perfect trainer for us. We've been working with Emily for 3 months, focusing on how Nala approaches people entering our home, and the progress has been incredible. Nala is now a very obedient dog, and we feel confident managing visitors. Walks were our next challenge, and Emily guided us through trying different collars, learning how to use our body language and tone of voice, and properly using the leash and collar. She emphasized praise, play, and rewarding Nala when she succeeded, which helped release her energy in a positive way. We have since enrolled in group sessions to work on properly introducing Nala to other dogs. Thanks to Emily's guidance, Nala has truly transformed into a completely different dog. Emily gave us the tools to feel confident, comfortable, and capable as dog owners. She doesn't waste time--she gets results while ensuring we understand what we're doing and why. We are so grateful for Emily and will absolutely continue working with her as we keep practicing and doing our homework. She is truly amazing, and we owe Nala's progress to her dedication and expertise.

In fact, I saw that you previously posted video footage of our encounter on your Instagram, but you removed it after receiving backlash for those comments. The last visit we never receive a call that our dog "COWBOY" was done. Typically he takes two hours but after two and a hlf hours I started to call but my call went to voice mail. Not having a problem in the past I let it ride for another hour and then decided to visit the shop to see what was up. By the time I arrived he was done and the heavy set girl at the counter asked if I would like to leave a tip and I asked for what he had been there for four hours at that point and when he came out it was obvious that he was in distress not having to go potty the entire time he was there. I chalked that the issue was related to the person I was dealing with and her complete lack of social skills. Our appointment was today at 10:00 AM, we were held up by morning traffic and when we arrive I took him for a short walk to relieve himself. When we walk in I was not met with a greeting but was asked if this was COWBOY and I acknowledged that he was. I was then hit with a comment that the rules stipulate the there is only a fifteen minute grace period and that she need to check with the groomer before she could accept my dog. Yes it was the same heavy set gal. I have been coming here for years and have spent 1,000's of dollars here and now I have to be explained what the rules are even though I have never had any type of problem in the past. I guess that there is a new sheriff in town and I need to learn my place. I do not know who owns this place but want to make it clear that I am certainly not going to be abused by a dog groomer receptionis. you can look up my account to see who I am and my promise is that I will not spend another nickel at Zuri as long as this individual works there. Authority is a privilege and should not be given to individuals that are not responsible or mature enough to understand how it is to be used. In this case this person feels she is entitled to chase customers away. If you feel that is the proper way to use it I do not think that you will be in business much longer. Remember dog groomers are paid for with discretion art funds and in the case of a bad economy or poor service dry up pretty fast. Do yourself a favor and eliminate this problem as soon as you can. I would give my rating a minus number if I could.
