I came in to buy a dog indigo house. When I bought it one of the latches I noticed was broken after I took it outside I took it back inside and was able to exchange it. The workers were extremely friendly and very accommodating. After making the exchange for a new, unbroken doghouse, The employee, Jordon, was very helpful. He offered to help put the doghouse in my car. The place itself is very well-kept and pet friendly. And it is fun to shop around and look for items while also letting your pet look around too. I Will most definitely come here again. read more

We experienced an awful event today at petsmart. My husband dropped off our dog at 10am and finally called at 3 to get an update and they said she was ready (great communication). My husband gets there and Nico, a groomer, told him that he couldn't groom our dog because she had a seizure and pooped/vomited. NO ONE CALLED US IF THAT WAS THE CASE. so my husband got the grooming mgr and she said Daisy didn't have seizures but was shaking but they couldn't do anything for her.. SO WHY DIDNT THEY CALL US AT ALL SINCE THEY DIDNT DO ANYTHING?? because they said they were busy. So our dog sat there still wet when we picked her up for over 5 hours! Don't ever bring your dog here. Especially to Nico that doesn't have the experience between seizures vs dog being scared/anxiety. read more

I've been their customer for over 30 years. Dog grooming. Dog, bird and fish supplies. I have a 2 year old aquarium with established fish, or I did till the other day. My husband took me there to get a few more and the kid there made all the recommendations. We got home with 7 new fish and put their bags on top to acclimate the temperature. 45 minutes later we opened the bags and added them to our happy family. All was great for a few hours till the new red tip shark started acting weird and died. The next morning the plecostomas was dead as well as a few of my original fish. By evening 3/4 of the fish had passed. Then by Sunday morning everyone was dead. What?!!!! As they died, I got upset and cried. My husband took each one to the toilet as they started floating. I called Petsmart in grief and they pretty much said too bad. The Manager Responded just like a mafia Don...No dead bodies, no compensation. My husband said there's no way I could handle taking in the dead bodies of my beloved fish into Petsmart to prove they died. Now, here's the question.... What killed my fish?!!! They were fine till I dumped in theirs! Their fish or water killed my entire aquarium! They act like it's no big deal, just buy more! I paid 87,00 for this fish that I added to a very happy environment! Did they act concerned??? No. They just want you to buy more. Be wary of getting your fish from this store. After my last conversation today where she said the manager said they refuse to do anything I have decided I will start going to Pet paradise where they offered to help me figure out exactly what killed everyone. Advanced Velvet introduced thru Petsmart water. Geeze. You would think that after 30 years of being a great money spending customer they would pretend to care about what their water did to my happy fish home! Nope! It's all about how much more they can get you to spend. The people at pet paradise have given us an action plan to completely clean out the aquarium and re-start. It'll cost about 300.00. Before we add fish in 4 weeks they want a water sample to make sure the water is ready. Did Petsmart offer anything? Advise! Sympathy? No. They do not care. I'm crying as I write this hoping to save someone else from going thru this. It's horrible. All my babies died because of contaminated fish/water from Petsmart. There are better places to go to and I found a perfect one who will now get all my business. They have birds, puppies, kittens, all kinds of fish including koi and turtles. They groom too. It's such a nice friendly environment where they love all their animals and you can feel the love. Not just a cold store where the young kids there act bothered when you ask a question or want help. Pet Paradise is my new go to for my Dog and fish. Bye bye Petsmart. All you had to do was pretend to care. I'm done. read more

Erica did a fantastic job grooming my dog, Patch! It took longer than the estimated time, but it was worth the wait.

Took my 10 month old Newfie who is reactive to the Pueblo Co store for grooming, and Ashley did an amazing job! Campion looks awesome and smells wonderful. Will definitely use her again, especially before show. read more

Just unbelievably great! Finally serenity from 2 neighbor dogs that bark constantly. 2 dogs barked once; one minute later one bark and that was it for several hours. While workin in back yard, several barks for a few seconds and then the barking stopped. Placed unit facing dogs about 10 feet from neighbor's fence with setting at 50 feet, but will reduce as barking continues to stop. Wonder what neighbors are thinking now that there's no barking! Hah! $40 was well worth the cost. Thanks PetSmart. read more

I want to say "thank you" to Ashleigh, one of your groomers. Not only does she do an excellent job on all 3 of my Wheatens, she noticed a lump on one of my dogs legs last Wednesday. I did get her in to see her veterinarian and she is scheduled for surgery on Tuesday. I think Ashleigh may have saved my girls life by the way she closely inspected her before she even started grooming her. I've had many groomers through the years, but wanted to let management know that they have a very special groomer at their Pueblo location. Again, thank you so much Ashleigh read more

Petsmart is a fun place to bring your dog if you have one to shop around. I like the idea of it however I think it is realllly expensive and the grooming/training is way over priced. I don't shop here often unless it's to buy their cheaper collars or ID tags. I looked at beta fish for my daughter and some were even over $25.00! For a small and not that colorful beta fish! That's crazy! The staff here are always pretty nice too. They can't help how much stuff costs. read more

PetSmart does not honor on line pricing if you physically enter the store to purchase items that are viewed online and will charge you significantly more than that on line price that they advertise. Due to frequent out of stock issues since covid I always checked on line to be sure it is in stock before driving there and never seen a conflict with the advertised pricing. Now it seems like "price gouging" and/or "false advertising" to incur a hefty surcharge for physically entering A Pet smart Store now to purchase items there. The advertised on line pricing for an 18 pound bag of Castor and Pollux dry dog food is advertised for $85.99 and I was charged $92.99 for physically entering the store for the purchase at the register. I'll use Chewy for now on to feed my two German shepherds. read more

They did a great job with my American Eskimo. The groomer was so kind and you could tell she loved dogs! I am so happy with his beautiful grooming. read more

Wouldn't recommend for grooming, I ended up just touching my pooch up with scissors at home with all the random patches around his neck and legs. And let's not forget the bald spot on his leg and the fact the the trim around his muzzle is completely uneven. I can get a much better job done somewhere else for $60 read more

I took my dog for a haircut and they did a horrible job and she was traumatized for days. I was also way overcharged and they had no explanation and didn't want or offer to do anything about it except have me take her back so the "lead" groomer could fix it. I will never go back there for any reason ever. read more

It's really sad that this PetSmart store doesn't have the ability to give Vacinations to my dog I have to drive 40 miles to the nearest PetSmart store to get my dog his shots is really sad in today's world if you're going to have a store like PetSmart in your town you should be able to get your dogs shots there and not have to drive to another city that's unacceptable. read more

Jessica was great! She groomed my dog and did a nice job. Jessica and Jordan at the grooming department were very nice. I like the fact that it's glass so you can see your dog (and see if they are being mistreated, which she definitely was not). I was nervous about leaving her there for 2 hours but it was totally fine. If you're nervous about leaving your pet, stay there and watch. read more

Prices are way to high. Staff is just kids that don't know much at all much less care about helping you. Most act like ur dog is some sort of monster and never even say hey to ur pet. The Santa this year was about 18 and completely incompetent for the simple task at hand. He wouldn't even put his arm around the dogs. I finally had to take the tablet and get the picture myself. Save some time and money go to petco. read more

The prices here are really high compared to everywhere else that sells dog stuff ... For shame

I went in tonight to get bloodworms and dropped $20 and didn't realize it. One of the workers said excuse me I think you dropped this and handed me my $20. I'm glad there are still honest people out there. I strongly recommend go there for all your pets needs! read more

I recently had my dog groomed and when I picked her up she was very upset, hyper, and acting very unusual. Her eyes were extremely blood shot. Her behavior at home all night was really out of the ordinary and she was cowering like she had been mistreated and she was terrified of the front door. I also observed another dog being mistreated while being groomed while waiting to receive my dog. The lady who brought my dog out did not have any of her collars or leads on. When she was trying to put them on her, she was yanking her around rough by the scruff of the neck, sqeezinging her between her knees and then tried to pin her to the floor with her knee. My husband and I took over as things were being done that shouldn't have. I called the store manager the next morning to report the incident. She was going to review the video footage and get back to me. She left a message on my voicemail that she wanted to discuss what she found and that either I could call her or she would get back to me. It was going into the weekend and monday was a holiday so I figured I would hear back from her on tuesday but she never got back to me. I called my vet after calling the manager and my vet has been seeing my dog for several years and knows my dog well. She told me that her eyes being bloodshot are typical of strangulation during grooming and judging from her behavior and the groomers pinning her to the floor with a knee right in front of me sounds like miss-treatment. I will never take a pet there to be groomed. Thankfully with the help of our vet we worked with our dog over the long weekend and were able to pull her out of the trauma and she is ok now; we'll see how she does at the new groomers, hopefully she will enjoy grooming again in the future. read more

DON'T BUY FISH, HERE!! The new fish we bought here must have been diseased - several of them died and then 3 of our existing fish started dying including 2 big angels. We're still grieving the Siamese kitten we got here in 2014 that died 3 weeks later from Feline Infectious Peritonitis. read more
