    Bought fish from here two angelfish within four days later my whole tank had fish ick then I had medicate my tank which resulted in HALF of my fish tank dying. HALF. All that money and hard work for pet co to sell contaminated fish to people. NEVER AGAIN I will also tell my friends to not shop there as well. EDIT:Called and spoke with a manager and she proceeded to tell me that her "fish guy knows what he is doing". I will buy my dog food from petsmart and cat food and guinea pig food and fish essentials now. Petco is such a joke.

    Here is their "policy" they don't follow, where it doesn't say it's up to management, get your shit together petco!!

    Went into get some things this afternoon and went to pricematch to chewy.com. The guy at the front (David) told me that his manager told him he cannot do that. Only to petco.com after showing him petco's website stating that they indeed can pricematch to chewy, petsmart, Walmart, target etc, he still refused. I then asked to speak with his "manager" that told him he couldn't do it. He then TOOK HIS MASK OFF, stepped closer to me and said he was the manager, Contradicting himself. Like do you report to yourself!?? If they do not allow price matching in the stores I suggest they make that crystal clear on their website and say VARIES BY LOCATION. I WILL NOT BE BACK AND WILL TAKE MY BUSINESS TO PETSMART WHERE THE MANAGEMENT ALLOWS PRICE MATCHING AND MANAGEMENT FOLLOWS CDC GUIDELINES. I don't know who David thinks he is management or not taking his mask off and stepping closer to speak to me. He should be fired for that!!!

    I can't say enough about this Petco location and Lacey Jo in the grooming department. My husband I were camping just outside of Colorado Springs. We are from Denver, CO. We had a family emergency and needed to make a trip to Pueblo. It was a Sunday and there were no doggy daycare locations open. I called Petco to make a grooming appointment as that would give us a couple of hours without our pup while we went to the hospital. I explained the situation to Lacey Jo. She was so gracious and empathetic to the situation. The grooming department was busy that day, but Lacey Jo said she could fit our pup in and that she would be safe and sound in the kennel for as long as we needed. This was such a relief and allowed my husband and me the time we needed with family. I can't thank Petco and especially Lacey Jo enough for their stellar service. We live in Denver, but we might just have to bring our Penny pup to this location in the future. As far as the grooming, Penny looked absolutely amazing when we picked her up. She usually puts up a huge fight for nail clipping, but Lacey Jo told us she was able to clip Penny's nails, no problem! I was amazed! Penny even got bows in her hair. SO CUTE! This was one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had. Thank you Petco and Lacey Jo for caring so much about your customers, both four legged and two legged! My husband gets there and Nico, a groomer, told him that he couldn't groom our dog because she had a seizure and pooped/vomited. NO ONE CALLED US IF THAT WAS THE CASE. so my husband got the grooming mgr and she said Daisy didn't have seizures but was shaking but they couldn't do anything for her.. SO WHY DIDNT THEY CALL US AT ALL SINCE THEY DIDNT DO ANYTHING?? because they said they were busy. So our dog sat there still wet when we picked her up for over 5 hours! Don't ever bring your dog here. Especially to Nico that doesn't have the experience between seizures vs dog being scared/anxiety.

    I've been their customer for over 30 years. Dog grooming. Dog, bird and fish supplies. I have a 2…read moreyear old aquarium with established fish, or I did till the other day. My husband took me there to get a few more and the kid there made all the recommendations. We got home with 7 new fish and put their bags on top to acclimate the temperature. 45 minutes later we opened the bags and added them to our happy family. All was great for a few hours till the new red tip shark started acting weird and died. The next morning the plecostomas was dead as well as a few of my original fish. By evening 3/4 of the fish had passed. Then by Sunday morning everyone was dead. What?!!!! As they died, I got upset and cried. My husband took each one to the toilet as they started floating. I called Petsmart in grief and they pretty much said too bad. The Manager Responded just like a mafia Don...No dead bodies, no compensation. My husband said there's no way I could handle taking in the dead bodies of my beloved fish into Petsmart to prove they died. Now, here's the question.... What killed my fish?!!! They were fine till I dumped in theirs! Their fish or water killed my entire aquarium! They act like it's no big deal, just buy more! I paid 87,00 for this fish that I added to a very happy environment! Did they act concerned??? No. They just want you to buy more. Be wary of getting your fish from this store. After my last conversation today where she said the manager said they refuse to do anything I have decided I will start going to Pet paradise where they offered to help me figure out exactly what killed everyone. Advanced Velvet introduced thru Petsmart water. Geeze. You would think that after 30 years of being a great money spending customer they would pretend to care about what their water did to my happy fish home! Nope! It's all about how much more they can get you to spend. The people at pet paradise have given us an action plan to completely clean out the aquarium and re-start. It'll cost about 300.00. Before we add fish in 4 weeks they want a water sample to make sure the water is ready. Did Petsmart offer anything? Advise! Sympathy? No. They do not care. I'm crying as I write this hoping to save someone else from going thru this. It's horrible. All my babies died because of contaminated fish/water from Petsmart. There are better places to go to and I found a perfect one who will now get all my business. They have birds, puppies, kittens, all kinds of fish including koi and turtles. They groom too. It's such a nice friendly environment where they love all their animals and you can feel the love. Not just a cold store where the young kids there act bothered when you ask a question or want help. Pet Paradise is my new go to for my Dog and fish. Bye bye Petsmart. All you had to do was pretend to care. I'm done.

    My dog has gone here for almost 2 years, so naturally when he was bit I at least expect the staff…read moreto care about my dog or care about loosing a client. My dog was bit on a Thursday, I received a call letting me know it was a small scratch, it was NOT a small scratch. I called Friday and was told a manager would call me back. They did not. Today Monday, my dog is swollen, even while we cleaned the wound daily he was infected. I called again, finally the manager speaks with me. Does not apologize, just agrees that the bite was not a small scratch. I asked for the dog that bit my dogs date of vaccination, the manager Erin, did not want to provide I am now at the vet who asked for the exact same thing, I let him know they wouldn't provide me with this information. He called Erin and she once again refused to provide the date of vaccination. The vet is now calling Animal Control so this information can be released. I am so disappointed with the way they have handled this situation. A daycare is supposed to take care of pets not neglect them. !!!!DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE!!!!

First I paid extra for the cabin because they advertise that you can keep an eye on your pet. That's not true though, the cameras are only up from 10-2pm. Second, my puppy was bitten in the ear while we were gone and I was only told about it upon pickup- it had happened a full week earlier. He still has a scar from it. They leave at 5-6pm, and don't come back until the following morning at about 7am. (I was told this by a staff member.) Which means nobody is there to let the dogs out to potty. My dogs shredded one of their beds, which is something they never do, and the other was covered in urine. I am having to retrain my younger dog because now he thinks he can pee on his bed at night instead of asking to be let out. He's 18 months and has been completely potty trained for over a year. I'm so disappointed and frustrated in their lack of care. It was hard enough to leave them but I thought I'd chosen a place that would genuinely care for my dogs. When I told them I wasn't happy with these issues, repeatedly, they just nodded and moved on to the next person there. I feel duped and like my dogs were neglected. How can a professional pet care center leave dogs in a kennel for 13+ hours?! I've worked in pet care for a fantastic company and this would NEVER have happened there, in a million years. Very disappointing. I would stay away!
