Less than satisfied with their services. I've had my dog groomed there several times and two of those times, my dog had her ears cut. As a means of rectifying the situation, there was no charge. In addition, they did not bathe my dog. My dog was still matted on her chest and nails uncut. Also, I requested they clean her ears of potential yeast of ear mites. Yes, my dog scratches her ear. Please do not take your dog to petsmart grooming on airport blvd in the shopping center. read more

The staff was super nice and helpful. So I took my baby in for a full cut I let them know this was her first time getting groomed she's a toy poodle and this is the cut they gave her my friends have poodles and to my surprise they let me know how incorrectly and poor of a job this was. read more

Very unprofessional. Told me that I didn't need an appointment to get my dog's nails trimmed. Then I took off work early to get my dog there at least 20 min before they closed, and the door was locked and the cashier said they left early because they didn't have any more appointments for the day. read more

I literally cannot rave enough about the salon!! I have been taking my kitty Shadow here since he was a kitten. He is now over 6 years old. Misty is the best groomer. She is certified to groom dogs and cats and I have never had a problem. Shadow visits her every 8 weeks. He is a Maine Coon kitty so he gets a bath and his potty area shaved so he can keep his fluffy pants and tail clean. To me, the staff is professional. Misty takes her time with Shadow. Cats can be a lot more finicky than dogs. For those looking for a groomer, do your homework. If your pet is your child, like Shadow is mine, ask questions!! Ask your groomer how much experience they have. Don't lie to the groomer when they ask if your animal has issues, like chewing or biting themselves. Sometimes animals have issues that are not discovered until the groomer actually gives them a proper bath and groom. Pay attention to your pets as you would your children. read more

Very rude little girl that refused me the sale of a goldfish stating that my 10 gallon tank was not big enough. I have been keeping goldfish for many years in my 10 gallon tank. As long as the water is kept clean they do just fine. The arrogant teenager had a very bitchy attitude and tried to stand there and tell me that I don't know what I'm doing and that I was extremely lucky to have kept my goldfish for so many years. I was not about to stoop down to her level so I just ignored her. I'm not gonna stand there and have some little 18 year old girl tell me my business and be so rude to both me and my mother. Bitch you can keep your goldfish and I guarantee you if you spoke to me in that manner elsewhere I would damn sure put you in your place and teach you some manners. read more

This is what they did to our girl. We took our Jack Russell Terrier for the usual bath and nail grinding/clipping. About 15 minutes after we dropped her off we get a call from Petsmart basically saying that 'she pulled out her nail'. We pick her up and there was nothing left of her nail, just a "powder" coated heel pad. It was so profoundly appalling how nonchalant, indifferent and unapologetic they were and even made it sound like it was our pets fault that she sustained the injury. They were so condescending and down played everything that's happened... almost saying something like 'oh it's not as bad as it looks..it doesn't really hurt'.."worst case scenario is she'll need a stitch or two". I'd like for them to tell me how it would feel like if one of their finger nails was pulled out and they bled. The facility did not even have vets around to check on her injury. They put some powder to stop the bleeding and that's it. When i asked what else to do for after care or what if the wound becomes infected, the staffs face went blank. They offered to reimburse us for vet bills only after I asked. I will NEVER take any of my animals to Petsmart ever again read more

I already do not like petsmart due to the stories I have heard of the horrible things they do/have done but my dog seriously needed to be groomed. All of the other grooming places here in mobile I cannot get a hold of and I am extremely busy so I do not have time to keep calling over and over again. Plus, I could not get a price on the other places. PetSmart I was able to get a price quote online and schedule an appointment so I decided to go there. This is my first time taking my dog to the groomers so it was my dog's first time going to one. Appointment was at 12:30 for a groom with a bath, nail trim, and flea and tick medicine. I was expecting maybe an hour then I was going to take her to go play. Well, showed up on time with enough time to check in. I thought they would get started on her right away since there were employees not doing anything other than talking and they were not that busy. Instead, they took her to a back room where I could not see her and put her in a kennel. I could just barely see through the door so I could see the kennels, but could not see her. I do not have a problem with kennels, but my dog cannot handle them as she is absolutely terrified of small spaces. They left her back there for at least thirty minutes before finally bringing her back up front to start on her haircut. The lady that was cutting her hair did not really care what she was doing and ignored me when I tried to talk to her to ask questions and stuff. She did a brief cut then took my dog back in the back where I could not see her again. After over an hour watching other dogs come in and go out, I was really worried. So I asked them how it was going and they said she already had her bath and that she drying. Instead of those drying machines they have at a vet or other animal bath places, they had tubes attached to the kennel doors to blow air on them and let them dry. So instead of a quick dry, my dog was locked in a kennel for over an hour, wet and possibly cold, with air from a tube blowing on her. After another thirty minutes, they finally brought her out and the same lady proceeded to finish her hair. She, and the other employees proceeded to ignore me again as I tried to talk to them and ask more questions as I was a bit concerned at this point. Finally at 4:00, my dog was finished and they charged me $81. I was tired and my sugar level was low and I was not feeling good, along with my dog being very stressed out, so I headed straight home. Shortly after, I noticed she had chunks missing from her hair so she was not professionally groomed like I had hoped. I checked her nails and noticed they were not even trimmed. So that left me wondering if she had even gotten her flea and tick medicine. I called them and they hung up on me. I called again, and the lady just told me the one who did my dog's hair was not there and to just come back tomorrow and hung up on me again. I will not be coming back to this place and do not recommend the grooming salon or the store itself to anyone. read more

My dog was severely injured by the grooming techs at the store in Mobile, AL. I took my dachshund in to have only her nails trimmed since I have minimal use of my left hand and cannot hold her. She was wrestling around as she was scared, but not acting in an aggressive manner at all. The two grooming techs strung her neck with the noose type leash and raised it so high it stretched her neck up. One of them then pulled her body downward causing the noose to tighten around her neck. As I walked back to get her, I saw her gasping for air, tongue hanging out, and not moving. They saw the look on my face and immediately took her down and gave her to me, hurrying me out of the store. She was shaking but appeared to be okay. Once home, she began having seizures and I took her back to the vet. She suffered a strangulation injury causing severe petechial hemorrhaing, increased occular pressure, and seizures. The vet immediately went and spoke to the store manager, Chris Mitchell, and he assured me I'd be reimbursed for the vet bill and he'd take care of the grooming techs. I spoke to him 10 times on the phone, 3 times in the store, and have had NO resolution. I called the corporate office 4 times and was told someone would call me back. NO ONE has returned a call even after speaking to 2 "supervisors". I was told the district manager would also call me so he could counsel the store manager and it's employees but again, NO phone call. It has been 6 months since this happened. This is beyond comprehension that so many people with the company have shown such lack of concern for the injury of my dog. The vet staff is awesome, the store manager, tech, and "customer service" employees are a disgrace. read more

I have a 13 year old poodle with arthritis and was very anxious about taking my best friend to people I didn't know. Holley is absolutely wonderful with her and treats her very gently. I feel like I am taking her to a spa for dogs because the do everything they can to make her comfortable, including soaking in warm treated water. They also work around my schedule which is helpful because I don't live close. When I drop her off, I know she couldn't be in any better hands. Thank you Holly. Nan Anderson read more

Awful. Went in to purchase a kennel for my rescue. This store is disgusting - floor needs to be cleaned. Two female employees passed each other giggling and completely ignored me. One of them turned out to be a "manager" Chelsea. Just a joke of a store. I left without my kennel and went to Pet Supermarket. Nice clean store, kind of small but the employees were superb. read more

Worst trainer ever! My one year old dachshund didn't feel comfortable with a large lab in the class so he constantly barked. She made smart comments to me saying she was fixing to have to ask me to leave, my dog was getting on her last nerve, she's a "good" trainer but he's pushing her buttons, along with several other comments. So RUDE! I had to get up and leave in the middle of the class due to her rudeness that made me feel so uncomfortable! Thank goodness the manager gave me a refund! read more

Everyone who works here is so friendly! I had a question about beta fish plants (which i thought was a pretty obscure question) but the employee I asked, Ben, was super knowledgable and helpful! Also, the door to the kitty room was open, so you could play with the kitties through their cages. One's name was Arm and Hammer, which I thought was very cute. read more
