Keryn is an absolutely amazing groomer and Jaskier adores her. We wouldn't take him anywhere else!

Grooming: Took the 3 dogs to the groomers, One dogs was great! One was ok, still needed a little brushing. But My third, His penis area is still crusty with mud, his inside legs are still crusty and his ears are still funky, They told me they couldn't blow dry him cause he wouldn't allow it.... And said they brushed him..... does this look brushed?! Tried to tell them I wanted my money back and they said no. Because One was nippy, yet he was fine When I followed up at a self grooming station at petco, he was fine with the groomer there under the dryer & when she tested out brushes (to see which I needed to buy) So idk.... I'm pissed I wasted $120 on half ass jobs. And highly don't recommend.

Horrible experience! We dropped off our puppy to be groomed. They were slow, but theystill didn't call us for pickup for two hours. We arrived to pick him up and he was acting weird, scared and crying. We started to comfort him and realized HIS TAIL WAS BROKEN IN TWO PLACES, while in the PetSmart grooming salon! The girl offered us $10.00 off! When we made a complaint we were dismissed. DO NOT TRUST PETSMART ON SOUTH WILL WILL YOUR FUR BABIES!

I get the SPA version of grooming which is the most expensive around 70$ each time every 8 weeks. I have a 4 year old shih tzu and she always comes back from this place as if she's been traumatized. I notice the difference from when I would take her to a private groomer who was able to pay individualized attention to her and only had 4 dogs at a time to care for within the time period I left Leia there. I would have to expect that Leia gets the generic department store grooming experience due to the volume of dogs, the speed with which they are expected to deliver and the way the kennel space is set up with dogs stacked on top of each other. Each of the groomers seems lovely and they have the window so you can watch as the dogs are groomed and check for quality control. The spawdicure comes with a facial, massage and I include the oatmeal bath because my dog has hypersensitive skin. They say they brush their teeth but it must be superficial because i don't notice a difference. Also, I've seen some nicks on my dogs face-that may also be because I ask for her to be shaved super low to accomodate the frequent baths I give her due to her sensitive skin. I've included a picture of the outcome. I continue to go here because of convenience of location and there is nothing outright alarming about my dog's safety or health when she is returned to me. Just that she acts crazy like she wants to get out of there when we leave however again I think thats because of the volume of pets being kenneled. When they check in the pet, they could be friendlier however I am sure they are stressed due to some pets not being comfortable with grooming and dog parents can be crazy. They always call to let us know when the dog can be picked up. Also, they have let me drop Leia off in the morning and as long as she is picked up by COB, they don't charge extra for the kennel fee or watching her while I'm at work.

Before today this review would easily been 5 stars…read more It has been a week now since the owner of honeydog reached out about my dogs groom. And I received nothing in return. Brought my dog here on March 21st 2023 My dog is an adorable 6 year old Labradoodle whom we've been bring to Honeydog happily for over a year now. Up until now they've done a great job with my dog. But regretfully this past visit was absolutely horrendous. The groomer was Sam that worked on my dog. I told them to leave his hair normal just trim and for a Labradoodle it should not look like a poodle. Not only was the cut a 7 blade super short cut but it was completely botched all over. His tail was cut so short it was only skin in sections making him look like he has a rat tail. His face was uneven. His coat completely different lengths. His butt area was shaved down so far you could see everything on his backside. Not to mention my dog was completely miserable for about 2 weeks since the cut and now that is growing back in a little he seems happier. The excuse I heard from the groomer Sam is that he had dry patches of skin "all over his body". I brought him to the vet and only areas that were a little sore was his posterior due to him rubbing his butt on the ground often. The owner Kerri reached out and made no effort other than trying to cut him shorter which would of been far too much. I feel ripped off. After getting my dog countless grooms over his life this has to be one of the worst cuts he's ever gotten. Friends and family said he looked like a stray dog And instead of having my opinion heard all I felt was excuses of how he has this body wide rash that wasn't even true in the first place. When I expressed my concern I got nothing in response. No I dont want him cut shorter he's already cut way too much. Its unacceptable. I hope they mediate the situation and don't continue giving awful cuts like my dog received. Its not acceptable as a paying customer to be given this type of service. Especially paying over 110 dollars from his groom with tip. I feel absolutely disrespected

Which I was in complete shock I've never dealt with a business that handles customers service in this way,So I went to location with my dog to get a refund personally and she refused to refund my money and stated behind the gate that she called the police already which is weird I never verbally threatened her or posed any harm to her I simply wanted a refund so this definitely isn't her first time dealing with a unsatisfied customer so I called police also on my phone and waited until they arrived to make a report.Nothing was resolved police said to take matters upon myself in civil court since animal wasn't physically assaulted which I will! I will never bring my Dog where groomers take matters in there own hands before consulting with OWNERS!!! I would never go back there again! When you first enter there's a lot of dogs barking and owner seems to have no control. Bringing my dog back in for the second time today to talk to the owner I could feel her stress and see the change in her demeanor. It's been a stressful situation not only for myself but for my dog who's going to suffer all winter. thanks to the terrible service from the folks at claws and paws

On October 23rd, he had a grooming appointment. Unfortunately, the groomer came a little too close with the clippers to his upper eyelid, slightly irritating the area. I sent pictures to Petco via text, and the groomer called to apologize. She offered a free grooming appointment for the next time and said the incident would be processed as a claim. When I arrived today for Coco's appointment (booked over a week in advance), the same groomer, despite the prior apology and offer of a free service, refused to groom him. She cited further liability concerns and rejected the appointment altogether, without offering any backup groomer services. This was despite knowing about the previous incident and the apology/compensation offered. It's disappointing that, despite the initial apology and promise of resolution, the groomer was unwilling to groom my dog, potentially causing further stress and inconvenience. While I appreciate the initial apology in October, the lack of a backup plan for an already booked appointment is unacceptable. Dear Petco Customer Service / Manchester Store Manager, I am writing to express my disappointment and concern regarding my recent experience at your Manchester location. I have been a loyal customer for many years, bringing my dog Coco there for grooming and other services since he was a puppy. When I arrived today for Coco's appointment, the same groomer, despite knowing she was assigned to Coco and having previously apologized, refused to groom him citing liability concerns. She outright rejected the appointment without offering alternative arrangements or informing me ahead of time. This was especially frustrating because I could have rescheduled or made arrangements if I had been contacted beforehand. Instead, I made a trip there only to be turned away in person. Furthermore, another groomer mentioned that Coco was not nicked during his last grooming and referred to it as a "raspberry eye," which I later confirmed that day with my veterinarian that it was a minor nick and was treatable with warm compresses. Additionally, I have had past issues with grooming at this location, including a cut that led to infection when Coco was about 5+ years old, which required veterinary care and treatment. Petco reimbursed us for the vet costs, but these incidents have caused ongoing concern. I believe staff should be trained to proactively contact customers if there are any issues or if services cannot be provided, especially for appointments that have already been booked. This would prevent unnecessary trips and inconvenience for customers. I hope you take this feedback seriously and consider improving communication and staff training to enhance customer experience. I would appreciate a response addressing these concerns. Thank you for your time and understanding.

My cat was incredibly sick from her boarding stay with them. She still is incredibly sick even now and it's a week and a half later.  I completed the survey they email you asking for feedback after my pet's boarding. At the end of it they request you to email them if you had any issues before you post any reviews. I did so 5 days ago and no one cared enough to respond, so now I'm warning everyone about this awful place.  When I picked her up from her boarding stay, she was sneezing and had a noticeable foul odor when the person brought her out to me in her cat carrier.  She's needed to see her vet and hundreds of dollars have now been spent to help her get better. She's had a fever of 104.9, is sneezing nonstop, barely eating, pawing at her nose nonstop, her eyes have discharge, and her right nostril is completely blocked. Her vet said it was a upper respiratory infection and a bacterial infection. My cat has never been sick once in the almost 2 years I've had her. She's absolutely miserable still at this moment.  I paid extra for the gold package for her stay with them. If she was getting all the extra attention that is supposed to be included in that, there's no way they couldn't notice she was very ill. Then on top of that, the sheet with notes about her stay only said one thing: "She was shy at first and then turned into a purring machine." Nothing about how she ate, nor how ill she became. The fact that no one bothered to care that she was ill or notify me is appalling. She deserved way better than this. The fact that no cared to contact me about this is equally troublesome.  She also didn't come home with everything she arrived with there. This required me to have to go in and get her blanket this later in the week. They treated me like I was inconvenience when I went in to get it.  She will never board with this facility ever again! Do not trust them to care for your pet! Update: They are claiming they've called me and left me voicemail messages, which is a complete lie! Vanessa Nevin emailed me today (6 days later) and I have already responded to her. Stop lying and trying to downplay your negligence. You've made a bad situation far worse. Worst customer service I've ever experienced.

Have been a long time client of Pet-Agree, for training classes with several dogs (even a foster…read moredog) and boarding/day care. We don't go as often as we used to, but the staff still remembers us; they've had some long-term people there for as long as we've been going, 11 years. Owner/Trainer Karen Smith is just a lovely lady. She's extremely good at what she does, and has a good sense of humour (definitely a plus when working with dogs). Though she's all about positive reinforcement, that doesn't mean a dog doesn't learn there's a consequence to a bad/unwanted behavior. She makes the classes interesting and fun and she educates herself, and her staff, on new training methods and things to try with the dogs. That's fabulous for those of us who have taken multiple dogs through the various levels of classes over time. It would get boring if we weren't as enthused as our dogs; they'd pick up on that negativity. We've done private lessons with a couple dogs who needed more than they could get in a group scenario; one who hadn't been socialized as a puppy and was afraid of a dust bunny never mind people. It took a year working with Karen, but it was glorious to see that dog blossom. Not only did we do basic obedience, behavior modification, lots of desensitizing, but Karen educated me back then on what makes a good dog food, and how some ingredients were thought to affect behavior. And she introduced me to herbal remedies as well. It was a complete, successful, program. She is a wonderful trouble shooter when you're having a particular issue with your dog. If one thing doesn't work to resolve, she'll suggest something else. And Karen or her assistants, are always available by phone when you have questions between sessions. They would write summary notes of your lesson so you didn't have to try and remember it all. I hope they still do that because those are handy to keep on file to refer back to over time. You just have to be willing to do the homework and then the results speak for themselves when you have a dog that is a pleasure to live with and for people to meet in public. It's been invaluable with our Rottweilers - they've been breed ambassadors and shown people the true nature of the breed - oversized lap dogs! Our dogs love going to daycare and they don't even mind boarding for a few nights. The staff get to know the dogs and will assess to determine which other dogs might be good playmates. Of course it varies depending on the dogs that come in day to day, but they know the regulars and who might be compatible with whom. They get regular rest periods, and are monitored for stress. Some people criticize the set up of the multiple play yards and what they feel is not enough staff to supervise, or leaving collars on. I understand those criticisms, and know that accidents can happen quickly, but in the time we've been using Pet-Agree, never heard of it happening there. They're doing something right. The place is looking a little less glossy the last few years, and they don't have webcam abilities, as some trendier places do, but it's always clean and full of lots of friendly smiles - human and canine. :)
