    Socks o blocks

Jen helped me pick out senior cat food for my socks o blocks. they had so many options within my budget and we're understanding when I said I wouldn't afford wet food and informed me on other affordable ways to hydrate my senior cat. My socks o blocks has never looked healthier! Large pet cooperations will always be shady, but at least I know the employees here genuinely look out for the animals and try their best to enlighten customers.

Went in to use the restroom. NO SIGN ON THE MENS ROOM SAYING IT WAS OUT OF ORDER! So if you are a woman or have small girls note men are using the woman's room! And an employee will tell you "too bad so sad" when you bring it up.

This is our dog before petsmart grooming yesterday .

See photos below. I think the photos explain the rating. This is really sad. They discounted the service by 60%. I was too shocked to say anything else.

Petsmart has been my go-to pet store for what feels like an eternity. The kitty that I grew up with got many toy, treat and meal from this location in the years before Amazon and online shopping. We still go here for all of our pets, primarily for food and the clearance toys and treats. The markup is otherwise high on new products. Blue Buffalo Wilderness, however, is within a dollar or two in price as compared to online retailers. Plus the staff is always friendly to us and our hound dog! One lady always comes to look for her when we are in the store to say "hi!"

F- !!!!!!! I need a negative rating for the groomers. I am EXTREMELY HORRIFIED from what the groomers did to my three gorgeous poodles (2 standards and 1 tiny toy). Neglect and complete lack of knowledge are displayed. We set clear expectations and requested that they leave their thick and long ears as they were if they could not remove the mats they get from playing with each other. We left in the morning confident that they would be stunning and fluffy when we returned. Instead we left with a hot mess that will take years to grow back. THEY SHAVED THEIR HEADS. They now have big, long and fluffy years and completely shaved bodies. I was not contacted at all to get the chance to tell them to NOT TOUCH THEM! I have been grooming them since they were puppies. I have been ill and unable to give them baths or detailed cuts. So I took them here. Worst grooming I have ever, ever, ever seen in my 50 years of poodle and collie ownership. I am heartbroken! How could a professional shave a poodles head! I love my girls more each day. This will not ever change no matter what. Even when they resemble Bozo they are beautiful to me. Please do not take a poodle to this place in case you get the same groomer.

I took my 32 pound corgi/shepherd mix into the Madison East side PetsMart to have him bathed and brushed out with the furminator because he was shedding so much.

We requested to delay class 2, our pup was not ready and thought it best for him and the rest of class. Requested to reschedule for a later class and was told it would be at full price. Specifically, to the Reliable Recall Class. This is because, Karrera, would completely blow you off when you called her to come. I can not tell you how many times she ran across the farmer's field whether it was corn or soybeans. This was after excavating her way out of the fenced in yard. I finally said to my other half. We need HELP! I contacted Dog's Best Friend and worked with Chelse in the Reliable Recall Class 1. Karrera did well with this class however, we felt that we should enroll her in the class, again, so we did. She was successful after the second time around and then, the Reliable Recall Class 2 came along. So, we enrolled her in that class. She did well. Fast forward several years later. I took Karrera hunting in our backyard in the month of August so, the corn was tall. She got to the point in hunting that she got frustrated and took off into the corn field. I thought to myself, I am never going to see her again! And at that moment I remembered to whistle 3 times. Well, guess who showed up at the front door? YES! KARRERA! Now fast forward, again, Karrera is going to be 13 years old on November 1, 2025. I took her hunting in Indiana. I had on me a treat pouch with cooked Lamb (this is something that our dogs only get when we are at shows or hunting). I called her, she came, I treated! She got to her first sett (hole in the ground) and I took her off her leash. When I wanted her to come to me, I would whistle 3 times, she came, I treated. She was off leash running smelling and being a dog. Yes, I was still nervous about her being off leash but, this Reliable Recall Class is worth it's weight in Gold! If there is any class that I would recommend to any one it will be this one! Thank you, Dog's Best Friend and Chelse for helping me and Karrera. With that said, I am also a breeder of Jack Russell Terriers and I start doing a whistle recall as soon as when the puppies are 3-4 weeks old. This way they go home with a basic recall at 10 weeks. People are really impressed when they come pick up their puppy and they are already coming to them on a basic whistle.
