This compliment, is for the store itself, and the staff members. Came in at 2:00 P.M. today, to buy some fish and got a dwarf frog, as well. The guy in the fish department was extremely nice and helpful! I'm not sure of his name, did not have on a name tag. I'm confused by all of the negative reviews of the staff. He did not pressure us at all to buy a certain type of fish. He talked to us for literally 20 minutes, about fish. And told which were/were not aggressive. The cashiers were extremely friendly, as well. If anybody at this store deserves a bonus, its the guy in the fish department! This store is way better than the Lilburn location. This will be my new location, from now on. And I WILL refer people! read more

I went in to purchase a mouse to feed my daughter's snake. The gentleman asked me if I already had a cage for the mouse, and I replied that it was to feed my daughter's pets snake. I was told they couldn't sell me a live mouse to feed the snake, but they could sell me a frozen one. . I looked through the animals they sell, and sure enough they were selling a ball python snake. So I asked, how is it that you sell snakes but don't want to sell me food that they eat. Snakes don't eat frozen mice in the wild. He explained that selling live feed was just their policy. I guess I'm just confused because the frozen mouse that you sell, used to be alive. Someone had to kill it, to freeze it, to sell it to me. Makes absolutely no sense. read more

The customer service at this store is terrible across multiple departments. I called the store leader to resolve some issues diplomatically and express my concerns, but I believe I was hung up on during the conversation. Despite allegations of a hostile interaction on my part, I asked for tangible proof, such as video or audio recordings, to validate these claims, but the store was unable to provide any. This leads me to believe there is a systemic effort to target certain clients and refuse service. Additionally, this store lacks diversity and does not foster an inclusive environment. Management hangs up on customers who call to express their concerns. I will never trust my pet's care to this store again and highly suggest that members of minority demographics spend their money elsewhere. read more

Another HORRIBLE customer service experience. I have been shopping at this store for over ten years. In the past few months, the customer service has been nonexistent. Today, I waited for over 30 minutes for help in the fish section (AFTER asking for help)... and only when I got completely fed up and was leaving did someone approach - and she had an attitude. The floors were covered in water, which is very unsafe. I saw 4 employees and two customers other than myself. They were NOT busy. They were just LAZY and INCOMPETENT. I took my Shih Tzu. there and there did nothing, They said couldn't cut her ear hair and the hair around the face all they did was shampoo which I did last week, she. Need a haircut, which there didn't do, I decided to try somewhere else, next t It was a waste of time 4 hours and waste of money. Sorry can not recommend their grooming service. 2/15/2020 took our senior yellow lab in to be groomed which we have done monthly. We were called to come pick up our dog but had not been groomed ( you can tell by the amount of under hair). Groomer ( with blue hair) have us not but attitude. I would not recommend the grooming salon at this store. I was 12 minutes late for my appointment to get my pet groomed on May 10, 2022 and the groomers that were there at the time came at me with A very unprofessional attitude about being 12 minutes late. They had such a bad attitude even when I apologized to them for being late they still refused to take her. Their attitude was just so very unprofessional and I don't think I will ever be going back to this particular store especially in the pet grooming again. There are far too many other pet grooming salons with professional people whom are very kind they appreciate my business. I will not tolerate attitude that was thrown to me like these two groomers threw at me when I went bring my pet and I was just a few minutes late and they refused to do her. We use both the grooming and Banfield vets. I have a Giant Schnauzer who thinks he rules the world, can be aggressive towards strangers, and is somewhat afraid of hair clippers. The manager of the grooming station is an awesome guy, my dog even likes him, and while my dog sometimes decides the grooming is over before it should be, the grooming team is great and the patience they have to convince him to let them groom as much as they do is impressive. So any normal pup, I'm sure they are quite amazing. Actually, my dog has liked every single employee of the store, from stocker to checkout. They hire well. Occasionally he dislikes a customer for some reason, I keep a strict watch on him. read more

I took my Maltese in for grooming. I paid $54.00 for a really bad job. I got him home and had to bathe him again because the groomer did a really bad job at bathing him. Yep, he still had some fleas. I will never go back there except to buy some pet supplies. That will be it. If I pay $54.00 for a grooming, I expect to get my money's worth. I have used another groomer in Monroe, and they did an excellent job. I could not get in there this time as they were all booked up. Guaranteed I will never use Petsmart grooming services ever again. If I did that poor of a job taking care of patients, I would have been fired. read more

Great location, Banfield veterinarians, grooming salon, and overall store! My 10 - year-old dog gets great care there on the Optimum Wellness Plan, as he's been seeing them for a genetic herniated disc (he's a Chihuahua mix) and heart murmur. They are very gentle with him, as he trembles when he realizes he's walking up to the vet desk for a check up to the neck-up lol. I always feel like they do a good job examining him and checking his status. He also loves his baths and attention at the grooming salon. I am quite happy with the service here! read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET TO THE GROOMING SALON! My dog was mistreated by the groomer. She almost choked her with the choke collar, which was terrifying for both me and my dog. My dog had been groomed there for over a year without any issues. The last few times I took her she was anxious, apprehensive and clearly scared. I didn't know why. Now I do. The groomer put the choke collar on her and she resisted, so she pulled her so tight that my dog went belly up and she kept pulling her almost dragging her as she was choking her! And this took place right in front of my face. I shudder to think what they do behind closed doors. Another customer had her dog's leg BROKEN at the hands of the groomer. PetSmart is supposedly "investigating" the incident.. NEVER TAKE YOUR DOG THERE. read more

Took my dog to the groomer yesterday. They did a great job! My only complaint is that the college logo they sprayed on him wasn't dry when I picked him up and it smeared down his back on on my car seats when I put him in my car. Ill probably go back to get him rewashed. It was cute tho. read more

We had made an appt for a bath and nails two weeks prior. Well we get our dog in the car and drive the 15 minutes over there, and there is no appt for her. It was never put in the system, even though the guy stood right there and told me the appt was set. Wasted our time. Had to turn right around and come home - no bath, no nails clipped. DO NOT get your dog groomed here. Unprofessional, dirty. I had an appointment for a simple bath and after wrangling my toddler and dog into the car and going there, I was told it would take 4 hours! When I asked why they said it's because they book many appointments at the same time and keep the dogs locked in tiny cages and if I wanted him back in an hour I could pay an extra $11 but would have to come back another day. I have used this PetSmart several times in the past for grooming. I have been happy with them twice out of more than half a dozen tries and that was because they had to redo it! I no longer use them and do not recommend them if you have a breed that requires any kind of special skill to groom them. read more

I set an appointment for my 5 lb. Maltese to be groomed DESPITE the fact that my last visit left him BLEEDING under one of his eyes. I figured nicks happen and I hadn't had any major issues with this groomer prior. The only problem I actually brought up at the last visit was that I was being charged a de-matting fee when I had decided with the groomer that we'd shave him off. What exactly are you de-matting if you're SHAVING him the lowest he can go? I spoke with the manager, was refunded the fee and all was well, or so I thought. I didn't even mention to the manager that ALEX C. had CUT my dog by his EYE and made NO MENTION of it when he was picked up. Anyway, I set the appointment despite my better judgment only to receive a call from VICTORIA saying that ALEX C. did not feel comfortable working on my dog and that VICTORIA would be doing it instead. I was flabbergasted! When I asked why she wasn't comfortable Victoria said it was because I spoke to the manager about the de-matting fee although she had already discussed the fee with us and I got a refund. I cancelled my appointment IMMEDIATELY! Instead of going to PetSmart, I'll GetSmart and take my money elsewhere. And don't get me started on Banfield and their "wellness" plan. I had appt for my 4 month old puppy at 5 pm. When I dropped her off I told 2 employees that she had a training class at 6. I went to pick her up at 6 and was told 'she was next'. WHAT? my puppy had been in the back in a cage for an hour for NO REASON. I am furious. How can you schedule an appt for 5 o'clock and be told when we got there at 6 that it would be another hour .. TWO HOURS FOR A PUPPY BATH. Besides all that the place was nasty. We have been purchasing our pet supplies from Loganville Pet smart for years.
