Overall bad customer service. Witnessed a dog get stressed and fall off the grooming table while I was waiting to pick up my dog from grooming. The girl was doing her best and a male manager (I'm assuming) took over, was extremely rude and handled the dog roughly then told her to call the owners and tell them to pick him up instead. Extremely unprofessional, the previous time we came the groomer was rude and my pup did not want to go back with them anymore for the next appt. I went into the store to pick up my dogs Rx food and needed help. A woman at the cash register kindly attempted to ask her older male colleague to help me, but he walked right pass me to help a flustered door-dash driver who just came into the store. His colleague tried to tell him that I was here first but he ignored her. I told the cash register attendant that it was ok. He took several minutes to find the door-dash package and then had the nerve to help another woman who was also a door-dash driver and who I also noticed came into the store after me. Not a thank you for your patience or can you give me a sec, nothing. The woman at the cash register saw everything and I could tell she felt bad. I immediately left. Customer service is everything and I won't be spending my money at this store anymore. I can purchase online through Chewy or even my vet And have a better experience. read more

It's a nice location. Easy access from the streets and plenty of parking. The store has been clean and well organized each time I've been there. I wish the pet adoption enclosure was bigger. The cats in there have rather limited space to get out of their kennels to run around, explore and play. But, it's better than nothing. Not gonna lie. I don't usually leave bad reviews, but my boy was did wrong. Kristina showed up late (probably the first red flag) then she said it would be 4 hours "I don't have anyone till later so maybe it will be sooner" what??? My dog is small, and every time I brought him it usually takes 2 hours max on the WEEKEND (I brought it him early AM during the week). She took a picture of what I wanted and still F'd it up. My boy came out horrible, and on top of it his eye is bugging him big time. He isn't acting normal since we got home.. idk what she did and the fact that you have to pay before looking at the job they did is crazy.... Dropped $70 to get opposite of what I wanted, hey but at least he smelled good I guess. Sorry, I'm pretty reasonable but this was bad. Gotta hire people who want to do their job and who want to do it right. If anyone has local recommendations please lmk. For the most part I've had a good experience. However the groomer I've had the least pleasure with was Catherine. She didn't give off a customer service friendly experience. My dog has a difficult coat to work with which I can understand but it seemed like she was taking out her frustration on me. Her face was always so deadpan and annoyed and when I thanked her she just lectured me on his coat and walked off without a "thank you" or "have a good day" like the other groomers. read more

We were in Vegas for a tournament and decided to book day camp/overnight package for our pups. We were so glad it all worked out great. This was the first time ever they've stayed overnight anywhere without us so needless to say we were nervous. The location is about 10-15 minutes away from the hotel we stayed at on the strip. There was plenty of parking here. The service was excellent and we would definitely use this as an option again. BJ was the person that helped us at check in and pick up. He was great, made us feel comfortable with the whole situation since we were nervous about being apart. He gave us a report of how they did, how they ate during the stay, and when the last bowel movement was. I asked about how they did which was clearly in the report we were handed but hearing him say they knew the dogs were anxious and were held and loved by the team their gave us peace of mind. They had already checked with our vet for current vaccinations before we even got there. Noting that if time permits between booking and the stay they will try to do that. My wife was a lil nervous as we forgot to bring the print out and had called our vet to email that from the road. She had been told at time of booking the printout was necessary. We showed up to pick up before the store opened and the let us in which worked out great for our tournament schedule. So glad we used this option and had a great experience. read more

As soon as I was directed to her for help she gave me her COMPLETE attention. Now, I know not a thing about any animal other than a cat or dog. So when I went in there trying to buy a guinea pig, I was at a loss lol. She was so incredibly knowledgeable about this animal, it was so great! Every question I had, she answered perfectly! I am EXTREMELY UPSET with the grooming my dog just received! I showed the lady a picture of what I wanted from his previous grooming appt and she looked closely at it and said she could do it. I stressed that I wanted a teddy bear face and to keep his tail fluffy. To NOT cut him down to short. She even showed me a sample board of different cuts and when she showed me the one she was going to do i asked if that was going to be to short and she said no. When i went to go pick him up I was completely shocked NEGATIVELY! My dog's face looks like a cocker spaniel and he's so shaved down his undertone color of gold is completely exposed. Of course I paid for the service before seeing him so I absolutely wasted $42! I got my dog and left before causing a seen because I was so pissed off! I called once I got home and could calm down. I spoke with the grooming manager Lori and she was very apologetic and said she would personally take care of him next time. I honestly don't know if they would be a next time! I tried out this store after having my pup's haircut butchered at Petco and they did a decent job so I've returned a few times, but unfortunately, when I've booked a specific groomer online and received an email confirmation for that groomer, I'll get the reminder email with a different groomer's name and when I call the grooming salon seems surprised and tells me the person I selected is booked, so I'll try someone new. They have even done that when I dropped my dog off and then I pick him up and find out someone other than the person he was scheduled for did his cut... This happened again for the third time and when I ask why I cannot have the person I booked the appointment with 11 days prior, I am told she was booked. When I ask why the other people who have appointments were not able to be moved so that I can have the appointment confirmed via email 11 days earlier, I was told they don't know why. When I ask, if this is not the normal process and I seem to be the outlier what is different and why I am not valued enough as a customer to have them fulfill what was confirmed, I am told they don't know why. I tried being loyal but I cannit be loyal and committed as a customer if the company does not value me. read more

Utterly unprofessional grooming and management experience. Yesterday we made a grooming appointment while in the store for today. We were told ahead of time that their hot water heater was down so no bathing would take place. Totally fine, my dogs just needed their nails clipped anyway. Made the appointment and brought the dogs in this morning as agreed. We showed up a few mins early and waited. And waited. And waited. Finally, after being ignored by the cashier, a manager came to the front. I explained the situation and he was unapologetic and cold. I was then met with a combative district manager dressed in flip flops who said if I came back tomorrow, he'd clip them himself. I asked if that were the case, why couldn't he clip them now? Oh because he was just being facetious and not actually trying to be helpful. He made several remarks that I didn't appreciate and again told me he'd take care of me tomorrow. I loaded my dogs up and decided to check online for a local groomer open on a Sunday with availability. Long shot right? WRONG!! She's loving her new addition to her closet and I was able to pick up Christmas themed toys and wee wee pads for a good deal. I love this store it has all we need for our cat, the service is great and friendly every time. If you go by the previous reviews it can get scary to bring your pet here, but I am glad I decided to find out for myself. I use their grooming service for our Jessie and the groomers are just wonderful they are all so sweet and loving to the animals. Jessie is a bit scared at times but once we pick her up she's calm and happy and they all say how sweet she is. I am glad we found a safe and comfortable place to get her groomed. read more

I used to bring my dog here a lot but I took him to doggy day camp here on 6/23/2022 and here is what happened. I called the night before and booked his day camp visit and was asked over the phone if I wanted to add a nail grind. I said yes. Fast forward to the day, I check my dog in and asked the lady in front if the nail grind can be done before he starts playing with the other dogs and I was told that it would be done. I go to pick him up at 5pm and I was told the total was going to be $41 and before I paid I had asked "did you guys do the nail grind?" Another young lady, I didn't get her name but she was of Asian decent says "I'm not sure. Let me ask." And I said okay. It took her 5 mins to come back with a response and was told "no they didn't do it but your total is $41" and I politely said "no it's not because you guys didn't do the nails. I'm not paying extra for a service that was not rendered." And she says "well that's what the paper says" and when I asked why the service was not done , I was told that they were too busy and that it's grooming's job and not theirs but if it's their job they why are you guys offering it if you all are not in tandem?? I then repeated myself and then a hefty Caucasian man comes from the back where the dogs are and says "I understand you're upset but no need for the attitude" which is micro-aggressive to say to a woman of color but I digress. Then I repeat myself yet another time and at this point I'm angry because they tried to charge for something they did not even do. They finally took the nail grind off the ticket when I said "well I can just stand here and wait for you to remove the charge because I will not pay more for something that did not happen." I pay, they bring me my dog without his tote bag and without his bed. I asked the guy where his stuff was and he says and I quote "you didn't bring anything here" and I told him "I absolutely sent him here with a bed and food in that tote back and I want it back" he goes to the back and it took him 10 mins to return with just the bag. Literally tossed it in my hand and I said "where is the bed?" And he said "what does it look like?" And I describe it to him, he returns 5 mins later with the bed and it has black hair all over it and a huge hole and soaked with pee.... My dog is white, mind you. I ask what happened and he says "someone was alittle nervous today" and I said "someone's black dog must have been nervous because my dog didn't do this" and he goes "do you want it or not?" Why tf would I want that now?!?! At this point I'm livid and I'm yelling which I don't yell, and then he walks away from me. Poor customer service. I also would like to mention that I went to the store earlier that day while day camp was going and my dog was not playing with the other dogs. He was not even there!!! Which means he was locked in the crate all day. They were supposed to be having a 4th of July party in June and that day there were supposed to photos sent to me of my dog and I didn't not receive any pictures probably because he was crated all day. Please do not let these neglectful jerks look after your babies cuz they do not care. Corporate greed. And there's no cameras there which is now also sketchy in 2022. The workers are obviously underpaid and don't care enough about your animal to be good moral humans. It's a paycheck for them. I also contacted corporate and they are investigating the situation and I am also disputing the charge with my bank and after that, I will no longer allow my dog in petsmart or give them any business. read more

This review and rating is specifically for the PetSmart Hotel at this location. We took a family vacation in Vegas at the strip from out of town and decided to have our dog, Meeko, stay at a dog hotel nearby. This location is only ~15 min away from the strip, so it was very convenient and gave us a peace of mind that Meeko was close by. The location is clean and the staff are very friendly. The reservation was easy through the app and the check in process was efficient. The staff member did a quick verification of vaccinations that I just showed on my phone and had me sign some forms. The staff members were patient with Meeko, who is a rescue dog and hence very shy. It was my dog's first time at PetSmart's hotel, and the staff member who helped us check out automatically applied the 1 night free stay coupon, which was much appreciated. Certainly will be coming back. No complaints and overall a great dog hotel. read more

Long lines can be a problem, and I'm not sure if they are just short staffing or they are in the back. Some locations are worse than others. read more

Very friendly here, however if have fish they offer no advice. Fish tanks require temperature regulation and water testing and we're learning the hard way. They did a horrible job with my pup. The first time brought him it was perfect, but this time, he looked as if we just dropped him off. We did a grooming and nail trim. They weren't even able to trim his nails because he was too energetic, yet the first time they had no problem. His fur was also curly and was not groomed or blow dryer correctly. They also did not have any treats or toys/any method to calm him down when I asked. I am very disappointed and will not take my dog here for grooming anymore. If there was consistency then I would continue. The manager said I can bring him back and they would attempt to fix it. But it is not worth the multiple trips anymore. read more

Last time we went we brought our dog (a miniature poodle) and cat to stay in the pet hotel and they made me do their job for them. I had to take my cat out of his carrier and put him in the cage. I was struggling because it was the cage on the bottom and there were water bowls inside the cage that were in the way and my cat is a long and heavy guy so his leg ended up getting wet and the lady just stood there and laughed while I struggled to put him in there. Then when we came back to get him all they said about his stay was that he was a little "spicy". My cat was acting traumatized when we got home and was super skinny after being there for a week. He also ended up peeing in his carrier which he never does and I had to bathe him for the first time in his life. This was NOT the first time he had been there either and I never had this experience in the past. Our dog who is an older gentleman had some separation anxiety and I guess was barking too much. They also said he was puking, which he never does only if they put water in his food, which we specifically tell them NOT to do. They left his puke there long enough for him to end up eating it and told us how gross it was that he did that. Then these ladies lectured us about using a slow feeder, even though he is a small dog who shouldn't even need one. He is also the slowest eater on the planet. I tried to explain that to them but they didn't listen and told us they were the professional dog trainer and they knew better. My mom recently made another reservation and brought the poodle back to this place but when she got there they turned him away because he is "too old" even though he was the same age he was the last time we brought him a couple months ago. They said they were going to call her and tell her but I guess they didn't get around to it. So they wasted my mom's time by making her go there just to get denied. They also apparently don't have people who stay there at night. Isn't the whole point of this place to watch your pet and keep it safe when you're not there? How is that supposed to happen if no one is there? What if your dog or cat had a medical emergency? We used to take them there every time we went out of town, but I guess they have just gone down hill. I think the people working there are lazy and don't care about the animals or their owners.
